I don't agree with making it fully illegal, but imo there should be an extensive amount of stipulations and standards that make it to where it almost isn't worth it upkeeping a legal and open casino. Basically take a page out of the movie "Casino" and have people apply for a casino operator license, full casino board hearings regarding behavior and legal mishaps, and having casino board executives.

To piggy back off my previous suggestion of “force casinos to be staffed” I say gambling should just be criminalized all together. Considering the main source of mob income was through gambling I think it’s silly that gambling here is just in the public, in businesses, in casinos and have almost no criminal element to it all. Gambling should be something that factions host behind closed doors, through word of mouth, through underground advertisements advertising gambling locations. The tables (more variety should be added) should be able to be picked up and placed down in basements and other locations to host underground criminal games. Underground casino robberies can become a thing. This would not only force casinos to be staffed but give law enforcement the opportunity to bust this illegal gambling. I just think there needs to be more criminal ways to make money on this server other than drug trafficking.

There are many moving parts, but I believe the main point of being a staff member is to make the everyday player’s experience better. You don’t need to cater to every desire, but as long as you are willing to help, it can greatly improve how players see the server. I have always enjoyed being staff on the servers I’ve worked for. I won’t lie, it has been a little while since I last held a staff role, and I want to get back in the saddle again. This server often has a high player count, and at times it can feel like there aren’t enough staff members on. While quality always matters more than quantity, I believe I can offer both by being an active and reliable staff member. Sometimes I like to step away from roleplay when I start to feel burnt out. How do you handle this?: Well, I would make sure I recorded the encounter, seeing as Im off-duty I dont think I should be the one who takes the ticket. I would make a ticket that someone got RDMed and make sure I give the evidence to the staff member to take the ticket. Then I would let them handle it as it does not concern me staff-wise. You have seen a fellow staff member of higher or equal rank than you abusing fairly often, but never doing anything too noticeable. What do you do?: Well, Evidence is the best witness. so I would make sure I am recording encounters that I see and make sure that I have enough to then send to a higher-up. I would make a staff report on the forums, depending on what the higher-ups want. Make sure to not accuse them or anything just gather the evidence. A member of your faction / friend of yours has a ticket made against them, accusing them of RDM’ing, and minging. You know that this person rarely does this when you play with him. How do you proceed knowing this? Does it constitute possible bias?: Well, there is really nothing I can do I would not take this ticket, as in my opinion, it would be some sort of bias, even if the evidence is against them I would want someone else to look into it. The most I would do is tell the staff member, whoever is taking the ticket, that he normally does not break this kind of rule, and to just look into it a little deeper to make sure the decision is correct. But ultimately it's up to the staff member who is in charge of the sit.

I understand you're upset but correct If I'm wrong you're making all these claims off of one interaction tonight? I'm also curious to know what the order could have possibly been to be 2k not that it's really any of my concerns. From my understandings we've made great RP with almost everyone we've interacted with. I apologize for our "bad RP" to happen with you guys. I'd also like to add that you're faction is the only faction we have "bad" relations with and if for some reason we have "bad" relations with others I'm very curious to know. We've had a "bad" interaction with one other faction and to be completely honest it was fun RP because we had a disagreement that we handled IC. I apologize that one IC interaction upset you enough to swarm my application with -1's. No, the bill was argued and excuses were made to try not to pay. The rp was "thats a lot of money" and "the noodles made me ill". Yall came in with 7 people and cry about paying 2k? and thats your rp? Thats how you're gonna make relations with people? You're wasting and disrespecting peoples times and employees. If thats how yall wanna be before you are even a faction and ruin relations. Most people dont walk into a restaurant with 7 people and pay less than 30k, It's the low quality rp to get out of paying 2k. Its starting bad relations over nothing money. From my understanding the bill was paid I'm having problem understanding why my application has to become a battle ground for arguing. This seems like it's an IC problem. I can understand that you didn't like the RP and came here to post your opinion. But simply shit talking is not necessary.
