The discouragement is the important part. We don't want to enforce what they can and cannot wear, we just want to make it so that they can't blame somebody for shooting the wrong guy within something like a 15 second window (I know I said 45 seconds, that's moreso meant for situations that go on longer with a persisting problem of seeing and unseeing that target) for trying to mug or kill him, when the other person is literally an identical twin. Usually, that doesn't get counted as RDM, even if it results in a comp, however, we want to put it on paper that things like these happen, people make mistakes, and people get the wrong targets sometimes. The whole point is, reason to believe based on the circumstances. Nobody's supposed to be able to get away with shooting a random with a different color of pants but the same shirt, I'm talking about very minute details, like facial bodygroups from the closet or rings/wristwatches.

I disagree. In my opinion it was due to players incorrectly checking if they even were carrying a package or targets just walking in the line of fire. Within these events staff go light with punishment, depending on the severity and if it was deliberate or not. When I saw some clips people just didnt step close to confirm if they were carrying the package or not. Wouldnt it be a bit odd that we'd have to enforce on what players can and can't wear?

When during a gang war or other violent confrontation, but propose specifically because of the last racket war, people wear the same kind of outfit, and you just saw your target, or if you just saw somebody in the exact same getup open fire on you, and moments later (seemingly) that same person comes up and you gun them down, let that be an ICly valid situation instead of RDM, only when; - Their faces are covered up or identical; - Their outfits are identical or incredibly similar, with the most prominent differences being a ring, wristwatch or a bandana on the head - Within 45 seconds, to within one minute and a half, this second person was identified as the first, mistakenly, and it is either reasonably believable to staff, or ON VIDEO (If the person who got shot in a "Reason to Believe" scenario had a clip that would imply no involvement with the person the killer was after, then they must be comped, and staff will see if it qualifies as random or Reason To Believe) Pros: this reduces the effectiveness of wearing ambiguous, uniform clothing during racket wars or other violant confrontations, diversifying the crowds and allowing for identification of the target more easily, reducing RDM. Cons: This means a faction uniform or another person wearing a near identical or completely identical look, including their face, is going to be subject to being shot randomly.

Actually I didnt try and cop bait my plan was join popov from the start and the guy I was protecting was just a guy I didnt break rp once I wasnt minging if I were I wouldve been causing issues with everyone which I werent I was walking around my char didnt mean anything because it was gonna get PK'd anyway from the start so I just wanted to join popov and get straight to mugging and making money for the faction cleary u havent looked inbetween the lines and are focused on other peoples reasons other than my own

He does good larp, ive sat in countless vcs wirh him. Never had an issue with the guy. Hes awesome!
