Hey there, So after discussing with other members of UA we have come to the agreement that regardless of the metagame claims provided this will still be denied. The main reasons for this is the amount of witnesses present.let alone other details Firstly you did attempt to mug them in the street which already makes it failmug. Heres a snippet of mugging rule 2 - “You may not mug in a public place, you can, however, pull a weapon on them and bring them to a secluded area to rob them (This can only be done when there is no one else around. EXAMPLE: The victim is alone at night in the middle of an empty street. You initiate a mugging with your firearm and take them to an alleyway so no one stumbles upon the crime. “ In the clips I can count 4 people watching you initiate the mugging, and the Rockefeller npc as well. This goes directly against that , the rules specify - If a mugging violates these rules it is deemed a 'fail mug' and the victim is not subject to a PK if killed. Should the mugger be killed during a fail mug they perpetrated, the handling Administrator may choose to still PK them as a result. To combine it with the full rule on vigilantism it states that its only a pk if you do have a connection to the target. When both of those rules combine it is a pk regardless of the metagame claim. Due to those reasons the pk will stand.

Hi After discussing with the other members of the staff team we have come to the conclusion this is a valid pk and will not be overturned. The reasons behind this are as follows the rules state how when you are in the act of committing an pk you are active as well and must not be reckless, in your case the person fought back as they suspected it, people wont just give up their life and let you kill them. He acted on suspicion and was right, now if he wasn't active this would be a whole different story, but in this case we have decided that the pk shall remain. Have a good one

Hey For this pk there are two main reasons why this wont be overturned. The first is like mentioned here a couple of times, the gun was faced away which disengaged the fear rp on the target. This allowed him to respond without fear. However the guy with the gun out who shut the door attempted to shoot at the target, even if he missed as the target backed up moments before it would still trigger fear rp rule 11, which states “ Fearrp no longer applies when you shoot and/or damage the victim, they may retaliate without risk.” For those stated reasons this pk appeal will be denied. Hey, So to clear things up for you, a cop pulling out a firearm is not initiating violence, for police to start the confrontation they must shoot first. Which was not the case here, you shot at the cop first and died meaning your char got pked. There is nothing to overturn here so the pk will remain in place. I would recommend referring to the pk guidelines to brush up on that part a little bit more. Have a good one

It has been months since i even played on any mafia server, let alone diverge. Kind of realised that those servers failed to achieve what diverge had for ages and i want to get back in and RP with the community i had on there. Honestly, it was never my intention to ever leave diverge, and i never had a chance to explain that all i was saying is that there is another server on the way everyone should try, and i did not know diverge disliked them. I have been playing diverge for a while and always stuck to the rules, i wouldn't get myself banned for something like that on purpose. I had a pretty good reputation on here a while back and no one wanted me gone, and i want to experience the feeling of this server again. Much appreciated Why should you be unbanned? never was my intention to give a bad name to diverge, and i never really got a chance to explain myself, instead i was insulted and left for good. My hours on gmod in general sky rocketed from this server alone, and i spend hours and nights on it, thats how fun it was. That's just blatant corruption and not how warrants work at all. If you have a document with the listed charges and it's signed by a judge, you'd need a entirely new document with the new charge added otherwise it's illegal and abuse of the system lmao.

Hi Bullets is entirely correct in pointing out that the server has no "minge hours" or "off-peak" time in which more leniency is (or should be) given to rule breaks. The server is there for roleplay, at all hours, and many players are trying to roleplay and enjoy themselves at these times, too. A lower number of players/staff does not open the door to break rules, and it shows a disregard for the rules that other players ensure they stick to. With all that being said, we tend to stick to a 1 warning system with PET flag abuse, and you have not received a note/warning for this prior to your blacklist. The decision has been made to accept your appeal. Please make sure you are following the rules at all times when connected to the server, and on your next PET related offense you will likely receive a blacklist.

Hi Over the course of your time on the server you have racked up numerous notes relating to PET abuse, as well as other system abuses (spin abuse, for example) You have had 2 prior warnings for serious PET flag abuse, that inhibited roleplay. We usually stick to 1 warning followed by a blacklist. I am aware that some of these incidents were awhile ago, but that does not mean you entirely forgot what is an acceptable use of your PET flags, and it is on the user to be aware of, and follow, our server rules. +1 Provides great roleplay to all the factions who interact with him, would love to see a legal faction that isn't just people's oil chars.
