The New York Times Cover Snippets: July 19, 1990

If I did this it would be like a scrap of newspaper torn out and put on a cork board, specifically that column. Could try if I get good details from PD/crim -

^ Last edition! I will try to make the next one like the 6-3-89 edition, because the high res text & wear-and-tear looks cooler ;P -
In my last edition I remade the entire snippet myself with google to be sure everything was the highest possible quality and added some wear-and-tear, but I felt a little lazy this time around. Sorry! Anywho, here's what ACTUALLY happened at this point in time IRL in the Diverge timeline.

They rebranded like 5 times into different Yakuza factions, but they always preserved "The Garrison" gun shop name

Reporting Monaclu for Mental distress (He hurt my feelings)

Nope, he did not use the hurt feelings form. So informal and whiny, but no paperwork! Smh -

Nah, they told the IDF guy it wasn’t against any rules and if he was offended he should just stop looking at their profile. -

Not exactly like yours, but kinda LOL. They were Israeli, and DMed several staff of the server complaining about a user having Palestinian stuff on their discord profile. It was 100% genuine, and not a joke. -

Some player who is in the IDF irl actually tried to make a report like this on another server I played once. It was an entirely serious complaint in their perspective. -
Literally the perfect solution. Detectives should be able to walk around and ask questions or whatever in suits. They look dumb in uniforms constantly. I am not, and never have been a Detective, but I think they deserve to have that unique style. Badge on the belt in a suit would look sick.

It's just easier to do a separate faction code-wise, no point in spending time to rework it

pit? PIT? FUCK YOU AND YOUR PIT! NAME IT /itd (it direct) or I WILL FUCKING SUE! PIT REMINDS ME OF THAT SHITHOLE PITTSBURGH! But yes besides the naming convention this is a very good idea for a staff command.

Diverge Faction Food Wars IRL Who'd Win?

Blue Lobster was probably top #1 until Casey Driver left because he wasn’t a criminal member of the Luccheses and was dedicated to legal and realistic work as a host/server. @realCaseyDriver was the ONLY realistic restaurant roleplay there was, and now he’s gone to Miami… -

You’re never gonna believe how I got admin rank without an app… -
Like the others said, it’s closest to being Brooklyn. I checked this same thing out a few years back, and now we’re all permanently Brooklyners. Fucking tragic. Now we all have to put on the thick Brooklyn accent.

I really do not like you using centered text alignment in your background doc. That is all.

I used to but it got incredibly boring, and I don't want to spend 15k on taxes weekly on a RP-focused business that doesn't sell drugs en masse every day. -

If you're wondering, my dumb ass did this on google docs instead of just using something like photoshop, gimp, photopea, etc. So, yeah, instead of having an easy psd file to edit easily I have to slave over dogwater google features to do these. So yeah, here's a look into the real-world events in 1989. Yes, the first fucking article there is talking about artificial intelligence. I encourage you to go ranting about how NASA and the government want to replace you all with computers. -
I can't post the fucking .png for some God-awful reason so here's an imgur link. FUCK!!! https://imgur.com/a/6btrcfO In the 1960's-1970's the papers were 10 cents. In the 1980's-1990's they were 35 cents. In the 2000's they were 75 cents. Modern day? $6.00. Be happy with your 35 cent paper, Little Italy.
