I mean, there's nothing stopping you from having conflict RP with another faction other than your own limitations. You have some drama with another factions? send some dudes down to their business and cause trouble. Drive by and shoot at the building / windows, making escalations get more heated to initiate sit downs etc. Nobody is stopping you from doing this, other than y'all being wimps.

-1 Lackluster application that doesn't really make sense. IMO you had the chance to do something quite unique and kind of flopped it. PRO - I see what you're trying to do, and I'll give props where it's due. - Decent enough RP ideas. Not sure if they'll pan out the way you're expecting though - Decent enough play time. CON - Togna Bologna is a dumb name and I can't take it seriously. - Your backstory is an absolute mess. What are you, a charitable organisation, a cult, a criminal enterprise... your backstory does not explain this at all. There are parts of it that dont make sense, you even spelled your characters name wrong at one point. You also mention 'the home' 11 times and 'the hand' 7 times - The cult idea is entirely lost. A cult isn't a brotherhood of individuals trying to make a city better, it's a fanatical group which usually has an eccentric leader who controls the people below him, you are not describing this in your backstory. - If you're a cult I want to know outright what your rank is, Supreme Leader, Grand Master? this should be absolutely pivotal to your backstory, and how your character rose to that rank and or gave himself the rank. - I hate this idea of 'we're going to clean up the city by locking up buildings and making sure places are protected, people will consider you a nuisance. - You call yourself the 'Hand of Paimon' but make no link to what 'Paimon' is? IMO (take these suggestions with a pinch of salt.) - You should really play into the cult idea and really go full hog with it, become fanatics who believe some mad shit, like you (the faction leader) are an actual descendent of God, and the people in your factions are disciples. - Whilst I said I hate the 'clean up the city' stuff, I do understand why you included it... IMO you should flip that too and instead of cleaning up the city, be the ones that are causing the damage. 'The Lucchese's are none-believers... we will show them no mercy'. There is no fear in the city anymore, a full blown heel faction of cultists could change that

+1 (this was a -1 until I saw the backstory link at the end lmao) Good application IMO, I really hope you guys utilize boats and include the sea/docks as part of your 'turf', that would be incredibly interesting. PRO - Diverse - Great play time - Big push on better RP - Some good ideas, and you're actively taking a stand against standing around security RP, which is a massive + for me. - Enjoyed the backstory and the real RP images complemented it. CON - Choosing your racket as cocaine, whilst that may be correct in the actual Galician Mob - it's not a guarantee in DV.

So standing around RP? Disagree entirely. This is not enough time to understand what it requires to not only be high command, but being able to run a faction. As someone who comments on pretty much every faction post, is a long time member of the community and has run a successful faction in the past - this is worrying that you believe my points aren't valid.

-1 All in all, I think this would run a lot better as a civilian faction rather than randomly adding a crime aspect to it. PRO - Diverse ethnicity CON - Backstory leaves a lot to be desired. Lots of 'this happened' but not enough 'why' - Low playtime. - RP ideas are stale. Don't really see anything new in terms of RP ideas. When it boils down to it, you plan on running a shop. - Your whole faction idea doesn't make sense to me. You're 'low-violence'? to me that just reads like you're going to get bullied by everyone because you won't retaliate. IMO, you may be better creating this faction as a civilian faction and becoming Indian oil barons. - It would be great to see someone successfully run 'IOU's / Loans' but in my experience it doesn't really work. What do you have in place to stop people creating new characters, rocking up and asking for 20k and then them blowing it and getting PK'd by police? - I can honestly see this very quickly becoming a minge faction where people join to use an awful indian accent.

As someone who ran pretty much the only successful British faction for a number of years, i'll give you my input. +1 - I think the app is pretty decent, and I wish you guys all the best. PRO - Diverse, it's great to see someone else attempt a British faction. - Play time seems alright. - I liked the backstory to a degree, although it does have some issues. CON - The breaks in the backstory are frustrating and some of them don't really add anything to the story. IMO you'd benefit from bigger time gaps, to add more text to your paragraphs. - I don't think you give enough examples of how you intend to be different from other factions. The VIP club thing is actually something we used to do weirdly lol. I'd like to hear more about your proposed business ideas, if you're steering clear of violence for a more business approach, how? you mention you want to steer clear away from standing around RP but by owning a club, you're going to end up with standing around RP. There's a bit of misconception about why Diamond died tbh. We did have an activity warning but was given some time to turn things around. I needed a break from running things, so I left someone else in charge. The plan was for me to come back after I'd had a break and carry on. The guy I left in charge was doing a decent enough job at coasting the activity, nothing amazing but it wasn't too bad. I never got the passion back, and my temp replacement didn't want to don anymore. So I made the decision to dissolve diamond. It was sad that we couldn't continue, but diamond being removed from diverge was entirely my decision.

-1 You said it yourself. People abusing the racket to obtain guns soley for minging or mugging is a staff issue, I don't think further restrictions is needed. Whilst I can understand FL's wanting to keep a closer eye on what people can and cannot do with their racket, it just doesn't make sense to me... why would you want to stop players from doing sleazy deals against the wishes of their high command? your capos should be keeping an eye on their men. Real mobs had problems with their guys getting involved in drugs, but they still did it... ? I get your point about new mob guys not realistically having access to a full arms network... but you have to leave room for error. This is a game at the end of the day, and by adding something like this, you're seriously restricting people's ability to 'live on the edge' in fear of getting caught by their family for wrong doing. You'll just restrict how people want to RP by essentially saying 'you want to join our family, then you HAVE to RP like this' Also why would you want to get rid of being able to kill people for disobeying family rules?

I like the idea of RICO in theory but as others have stated, I don't think it really works in practice. The only way I can really see it working, without it being massively OP would be to have FBI (or just a branch of the PD) that are for creating task forces which attempt to get IC information to establish the hierarchy of the mob they're tasked to, so that the information can be used in court cases. Implementing an entire RICO system would kill the mafia RP. Do agree that factions have gotten really safe in terms of big crackdowns from PD. When I was running my faction, I always played in a 'actions have consequences' and would often RP that the police could wipe out the whole faction, even if they realistically couldn't. TLDR: More factions and PD need to RP.

It was me who banned you, not Boom. Whilst it's agreeable that posting IC documents, clips etc in OOC channels is okay, if the document that is posted in an IC channel is deleted and you use a 3rd party tool to view the deleted item you aren't technically viewing the item within an IC manner, because the item is no longer there, and shouldn't of been there. If it was posted in error and removed it's no longer an IC item and by accessing it in the way you have is ooc. And then taking something you have obtained OOCly and spreading the links around will affect people's IC knowledge, which is obviously very anti-rp - from someone, who claims to be RP forward? I will say, I should've timed you out, rather than ban.

+1 PRO: - Diverse - I really enjoyed your RP suggestions, they're out of the box and I think will work quite well. - I really like the idea of your faction being morally 'good' guys, found that quite interesting. - Backstory was a decent read, few mistakes i.e 'Whenever their father died, Pavel Popov took over for the family' This reads like the father frequently dies and someone has to take over lol. CON - I hate the Google slides doc, mainly the grey text on black background. Would be so much easier to read if it was just white. - The text in the forum post gets kind of 'wall of texty' I kinda wish you'd of broken that down in a google doc too Considerations - I think you're going to have to work that extra bit hard to keep your ideas alive and not become like every other faction, people love to shoot guns and be dicks and I think as soon as you waver from the 'serious' RP of your faction, this will start to creep in.

+/- I think people are being a bit unfair on this one. Seems like you have some good ideas but your actual application is a bit lackluster. I think if you could take away some of my points and update your application, you might be onto something, with some consideration. PRO: - The diverse angle of everyone being African-American is interesting. - Your backstory and the core idea of everyone being 'pimps' is quite unique. - I enjoyed some of your RP ideas. CON - I fucking hate the name Pimp's Paradise. There are so many better names - The entire point of your faction revolves around clothing, this means you're going to need to have some serious custom items or at the very least, the funds to keep a constant stock of custom items for your guys. Why would I join 'Pimp's Paradise' over another faction if you're going to make me wear clothes from the clothing store, if you get me. - Because your application is a wall of text, it's hard to decipher. Even by making each required category bold would help. Consideration: - From personal experience, owning a strip club in Diverge is going to get you labeled as a gay bar almost immediately. - This does read a little like a Supreme clone. You need to make it very obvious that you are two different factions, but in the same breath we have a ton of Italian factions that are quite similar so it couldn't hurt to have two blacks.

-1 Not a bad application. I enjoyed part of the backstory but to me it seems that you didn't write the whole thing. PRO - Different nationality - Part of the backstory is really good, interesting and really touches on the history of the faction CON - In your backstory, your writing style entirely changes. The first half of it, is written with extremely good punctuation and descriptive element's. It's like a book. Then just before the images come in, this changes entirely with random capital letters, no punctuation and things just not making sense? i.e 'If U look Under The police arrived' This to me tells me that you've had someone else write the backstory (which is fine i guess), or you have taken it from elsewhere. - Your RP ideas are OK at a glance but it is extremely difficult to read, matching with the second part of the backstory. - Your play time is too low. You should take more time to see what it actually takes be HC in a faction.
