  2. Hi, I was a banning admin involved with this case: Here is a snippet of my response to Medinator's appeal, which is I suppose in a way the "primary" appeal: "The way that this reads to me is that the actions of your Altoviti character have directly benefited your SOS character. Which is textbook char abuse. Having reviewed both the item logs, as well as the chat logs for the times surrounding your interactions, it becomes clear to me that at the very least, there was an intention of providing the Mint Suit (and other items) from your Altoviti to Sauerkraut, and having him repay you on your SOS char, which happened to be with another Mint Suit." Essentially you have been banned for your role as a middleman for this semi-Item Transfer / Certain Char Abuse. You have some priors for similar rulebreaks, which landed you with a more equal ban, rather than a slightly more lenient one. Your character was *not* pk'ed - just to specify. It is my opinion that you allowed Medinator to provide you with items from his defunct char, in exchange for gifts to his new SOS char. Hence you were banned. Hopefully that clears things up a bit, good luck on the appeal!
  3. Hi, I was also a banning admin on this case alongside Dutch. We were pushed this case by higher staff and chose to handle it together. The way that this reads to me is that the actions of your Altoviti character have directly benefited your SOS character. Which is textbook char abuse. Having reviewed both the item logs, as well as the chat logs for the times surrounding your interactions, it becomes clear to me that at the very least, there was an intention of providing the Mint Suit (and other items) from your Altoviti to Sauerkraut, and having him repay you on your SOS char, which happened to be with another Mint Suit - Something that is unsurprising considering you are known to be a huge fan of said suit, and as you claimed "I will always get my hands on a Mint Suit one way or another" You cannot use transactions, trades, or other forms of value from one char to benefit your others - Providing all of those items to Sauerkraut knowing your situation on your Altoviti char was precarious and then receiving a copy of the exact suit you like the most to your new character are evidently two situations that are linking the actions of Char 1 to the benefit of Char 2. Hopefully that clears things up a bit.

    Flag Appeal

Hi, Generally we try to stick to a 1 warning system for PET flag abuses. In this case, ignoring any potential debate as to your intentions - you abused your PET flags and caused multiple player deaths, and a large disruption to roleplay. It is my opinion that this doesn't constitute full removal, as you have not gotten any prior notes or bans on the server. Please bare in mind that this will still remain as your only warning, and further abuse will result in a blacklist from the flags. Please read our server rules to prevent any future misunderstanding!

    Unban appeal

Hi, In this case the killing was unjustified. It seems to me that you allowed a crime to happen, so that you could execute a suspect. I understand the concept of a detective doing an 'eagle-eye' type investigation, but any kind of work like this should be explicitly to make arrests, not 'hospitalize'/kill players. You should always be attempting arrest, the player was not an active threat to you or others, and you witnessed the full context of his violence and would have known as much. You could have attempted arrest - I realise one defense would likely be 'I can't jump from a roof during roleplay and risk my life' to which I'd say - why weren't you working with officers on the ground to respond? Realistically, this scenario is you waiting in hiding for players to do anything that gives you the slightest reason to shoot your gun. This isn't something that works or is allowed on 1990's Mafia RP - more of a 1940's vibe, lol. It is the opinion of myself and other Seasoned staff that this was RDM, and with your extensive priors you certainly know better.

  9. You seem to have missed the first 6 sections of the app
  10. This is actually in the works already, @Boomroasted was cooking up something like this for some fun wider roleplay, I believe
  11. Hi pk'ing admin As we have previously discussed, potential IC harassment from other cops prior to you being pulled over for running the stop sign doesn't allow you to kill a cop without consequence. In this situation, you shot and killed a police officer, during a non-felony arrest and started a violent confrontation with police. You were subsequently killed. As I'm sure a lot of cops will attest to, I usually am pretty tight with allowing cop PK's - in this case, I think my judgement was correct. You rightly mention that cops should attempt arrest when possible. In this case, you somewhat randomly kill a police officer, before driving off at top speed, from an officer who has no back up or support, or real way to correctly identify you further outside of "bolo on a black car" the speed at which you leave even causes you to end up in a high speed collision (granted that is also the fault of that F1 car, but still) - It is my opinion that there was not an avenue to arrest available to the officer at this time, nor was there any guarantee that you were no longer posing a threat to cops or civilians, and the violence toward a cop wasn't minor, like a punch or a melee - you straight up killed/hospitalized a cop. If you had put your gun away and de-escalated the situation first, even if you still ran after, I would say no to a PK - but you didn't, you go straight from active threat to running. I do agree with a previous sentiment that claiming this was not a valid PK, essentially creates a loophole to 90% of VCWP "I had turned around and started running, so I could not have been a threat any longer" - "I was in a vehicle, so I could not have been a threat any longer" - There is a degree to which this is always going to be case by case, but when you compare the severity of the violence, with the lack of options for Peralta other than to essentially let you get away with it, this was his only move. TL;DR In my opinion the criteria that would make this kill invalid here would have been to de-escalate from violence first, no longer be an active threat to the point that if in another world you hadn't ran and Peralta had killed you, staff would have disallowed the PK, and then from there you could attempt to escape - at which point Peralta would have potentially had more back up, time to process and avenues to utilize to make an arrest. That's my take, anyway Good luck on your appeal.
  12. Theres something to be said about instrument items like the piano but atleast semi portable Probably attached to a flag though...lol
  13. Assuming this is related to props being cleared as its an issue that effects many cars Keep an eye in the bottom left for 'Props will be cleared in 60 seconds' and see if that replicates the issue
  14. Yeah to literally all of these Would be awesome I think there's probably some bullshittery behind the scenes reason that makes it challenging but i'd love to see non-fortnite emote animations for roleplay stuff, like being able to lean, maybe like have your hands on a table, drink a whiskey glass etc.
  15. Edit this twin - at least hit the literal bare minimum
  16. Hi The existence of mugging in the server is not an issue Rulebreaking by PK hunting, mass mugging and NITRP'ing is the problem Let's stop dumbing down the basis of this ban to 'mugging bad'
  17. 'Let me mug 4/5 player chars with no risk' -1

    Ban appeal

Hi You transferred multiple items to a friend on your old character, were pk'd and then 1 month later at the Little Italy ATM asked your friend to let you attempt to take the items back. He complied, allowing you to take the items. He was banned for a time for his role in your Item Transfer as a middleman. The Crazy Suit was the item I used to track the transfer, and it is perfectly visible and validated via our server logs. I have the entire interaction between the 2 of you clipped, and you openly acknowledge the fact that the items were provided to the middleman by you, on another char, and that you'd like to take them back on your new character. Item Transfer is simply just not allowed: Likewise you may not transfer money or items between any of your characters in anyway. Nor are you allowed to act as the middleman for someone else's item or money transfer. Transferring items or money between two of your characters is not permitted under any circumstance. (For your information, your character has also been pk'd)
  19. Hi banning admin here. I was asked to weigh in on, and then enact your ban during a conversation with at least 6 other staff members, including staff higher ranking than myself. Looking through your logs, it is blatantly apparent to me, as well as the other staff, that you don't intend to roleplay. In your previous appeal, you said: "If I get unbanned, I plan to roleplay and add to the servers experience instead of take away from it. If I come back to the server I won't be mugging at all, shouting at people for no reason, or breaking any rules." So far you have spent most of your time mugging, outside of that AFK'ing at your property, and making negative and cringeworthy Underground Advertisement endlessly. It's worth noting that hiring a few people and ordering oil is not what constitutes roleplay. Your provided evidence of roleplay is also pretty sub-par. You have been known to mug various people who blatantly have nothing of value on their person, which to my eye is likely PK hunting. You make the core of your character, down to his nickname, about mugging. You post a large number of rumours per session gloating about your muggings, and announcing plans for your next muggings. All of this adds up, as well as your previous bans and reputation - to show that you are just a mugging character, who can provide little to no valuable roleplay to the server. The testimony of a small handful of Takahashi players that you "have been helpful in the 1 week you were there" is not doing much to disprove that, either. PK hunting, most failmugs (which you have done at least one) and NITRP are all bannable offenses. Referencing Canadian's judgement on your perma ban appeal: "If you are banned again it will be extended to permanent once more." Thus I extended your ban to permanent. TL;DR - I was asked to ban you if I believed your actions constituted a ban, I did, as did numerous other staff. You had a 1 strike, you're out policy laid out to you when you were unperma'd. Good luck on the appeal.
  20. @Shauningtits your time to shine
  21. Your ban appeal has been reviewed and accepted. The ban will be reduced to 1 day.
  22. Hi, After reviewing both you, and your friend's appeal, and the evidence provided by those involved, I think that the right move here is to reduce your ban. Whilst I agree that your actions do not constitute AMRDM, the Fail Corruption rulebreak is valid. You have (to my knowledge) received a PD blacklist and character ban for this, so I am happy to reduce your ban to 1 day. It's worth considering contacting staff in future if you have roleplay ideas or scenarios, like this one, that can break from the usual expected processes and bend the rules a bit - an admin or GM could definitely oversee a hostage style escalation like this, and deliver a smoother and more exciting experience for everyone involved. As a friendly reminder, you have 22 collective notes/bans, please ensure you are confident in your knowledge of our rules, and continue enjoying the server!
