Nubs has always roleplayed with me and been present in heavy RP meetings, disciplinaries, and more He is a more than capable roleplayer - He may have a silly character in his roster but he has 4 others who have been Capos, Underboss, etc.

This topic is brought up and answered weekly at this point - as Monaclu said, there is not a huge amount staff can do without people making tickets, bringing up OOC in IC voicechat, bringing up blatant minging, etc. OOC rumours are punished with mutes and notes essentially every time now, from what I've seen. I don't really see how talking about factions is OOC, either. When we active staff it's easy to catch failnames and that's kind of it - Everything else is just dependent on being in the right place, right time. If you see something and it's a rule break, make a ticket. You also gotta have some appreciation for the fact that every staff member applied for staff at a base level due to their enjoyment of the server - We all have stuff to do on our characters and like to play on our RP chars - We assist in the moderation of the server at our own accord and are already given minimums to uphold - If your tickets are being answered I can't understand why you're annoyed it's 'by the same 2 or 3 staff members'

-1 I'd say that within 8 days of playing, devoting a whole 36 hours alongside your school and whatnot shows you're enjoying the server - which is great!!! However, I don't think that equips you with the knowledge or experience required to assist the staffing effort, and I think you'd need to be around a good few months to take in all of the niches and specifics of the server, its roleplay and its rules. Otherwise, the application is incomplete and I think you've misunderstood the last question - Would recommend you editing the app to amend those issues

These guys are goated and good for RP - had great interactions with them during the food truck saga of '89 Irish is also like the second most likely accent for people to actually bother with after the classic jersey wop +1

-1 SOS is already enough representation for the biker gang archetype. With SOS and Supreme already existing the next 'American' faction should be unique in its own right, too.

reduce the amount of hunger the hotdog vendors give
calink replied to Tecunuman's topic in Suggestions
I think realistically the lifeblood of restaurant RP isn't player characters being hungry - that maybe only applies to cops who come into the Blue Lobster for example as and when they need food. Most restaurant RP is players having arranged or impromptu dinners and meals with their families, crews, factions etc. Having accessible food vendors through the hotdog stands doesn't quell RP - if restaurants were the only source of good food then I'd argue it could do more harm than good, as people would spend more time in RP businesses during grinding gameplay loops when they probably aren't intending to RP. If I was trying to do a full table hosting roleplay and being constantly interrupted by players demanding food at the bar as quick as possible I'd find that frustrating. TL;DR - Removing or making hotdog vendors undesireable could push more non-RP to legal fronts -
Silently standing in a cell RP If I was you I'd spend more time interacting with other players - just because there are IC avenues to punish wreckless driving doesn't excuse it from being super annoying to other people who are trying to roleplay

-1 low recent play time, and relatively low effort staff app from my perspective - please don't take that personally, I just feel like you could say more and have put some more effort into formatting.

Edited ban appeal is absolutely wild
-
Personally, I think it's on the faction to hire correctly and express their values through ic roleplay, not a pop-up box Nice idea but I think it just encourages laziness

You can be an asshole at any age JMZ made his time on the server unenjoyable, intentionally Can't see how Shaniqua speaking out about that can be seen as anything but fair
-
Genuinely no one with better temperament could be found on the server, massive +1

Make staff tickets for abuse of hi fi, or for abandoned hi fi's For general hi fi being played, surely you'd be the biggest advocate of roleplaying it out??
-
+1 active player, see his cop on pretty much daily, previous experience in staffing is sure to be a help, too

Returning Food items to not be vendor registers [Opinion]
calink replied to Pendred's topic in Suggestions
More restaurant focused RP is always good Also would love to see better vendor UI in general, categories and whatnot - assuming this would extend past just the food NPC? +1 -
Idk how it'd script but it could also work as a task for city workers to complete after X time has passed There is always a hilarious amount of blood splatter left around for days on end I swear, lol

I'm not going to go and check if this was or wasn't AI But Sean, maybe in a more concise TL;DR style response you could outline the key points instead of this enormous novel - just outline your apology in a normal paragraph or 2

Removal of the comp command, and harsher punishments for RDM
calink replied to adam's topic in Suggestions
If every RDM or VDM based comp goes in toe with a ban then the staffing will be working as it should be, so I'd definitely say that should be the new standard Ticket makers shouldn't expect to make tickets, and ask for no punishments for whoever killed them Comp = Ban = Comp -
Could also open up some cool attachments like weapon slings or something to decrease draw time etc? I think adding more to the gunplay, especially now attachments are back, would be great. I also think gun bags should show on your back, but not class as probable cause for a search by police Otherwise you can be interacting with a guy who has a whole AK stuffed in his trouser pockets, as far as you're aware

Double it and give it to the next person

Removal of the comp command, and harsher punishments for RDM
calink replied to adam's topic in Suggestions
If you are a staff member and you comp every ticket you get you should not be a staff member The best immediate answer is staff training and punishments for staff who are too lazy to investigate tickets fully- including not noting perps of rulebreaks
