Hey guys adding onto Adam’s stuff with the removal of the comp command like we are actively arguing and going at eachother (staff) rn its crazy. I think there could be a new system in how guns work, pendred stated 90% of comps or something are due to people having weapons equipped ALL the time, and that is true, I mean I have a skorpion equipped at all times too, I’m guilty. Theres not a-lot RP wise you can go off of with equipping/unequipping weapons however. I think we should add /me’s for equipping a weapon, you aren’t allowed to go off the sound of a weapon being equipped in an RP sense (if I remember that correctly) and something like /me moves a 1911 into the waistband of my pants or something similar could really help in some cases like imagine you’re arguing with a guy, you see he equips a gun, and you really gotta think “is it worth it continuing with this, do I wanna take the risk of also equipping my firearm” (that maybe wont get comped) As it stands now, pulling a firearm is so incredibly easy, and most guns (that aren’t rifles) have near-instant fire times if they aren’t on safety, could make muggings, hits, shooting in self defense or escalation, firing at police, more of a calculated thing, and with the addition of a /me you could react in an IC fashion. If I think I’m about to die because a faction has a hit on me, and I hear someone equip a gun so I kill him, it’s RDM. If I *see* him equip it however… maybe not.

Idk man Adam used to be a super, and UA, he’s got ball knowledge. It does state in the staff handbook we’re not required to comp at all even for RDM or VDM, unless its something completely out of control like a server bug, weapon comps are staff discretion. I should stop comping people just so theyre more careful

Repair kits can currently be used while driving, but the whole process, including the /me of opening the hood, is completely unrealistic for repairs while driving. If you're chasing someone (as a police officer or even just to chase them), they can constantly spam repair kits while driving, making it impossible for their vehicle to break down. Combine this with the people who buy full armor, and you're never catching them. I think repair kits just need to be used while being completely stationary, like how dissecting a body works, I mean, shit. Can't even move your mouse, or it'll cancel. This could reduce the amount of cop baiting/vehicle minging you see every day and might even have to deal with, and it wouldn't even change anything.

Little italy wouldn’t even be ABLE to band together to fight a war, the internal beef with the wops is insane, you’d have people making tickets the first day for putting up pixelated rats on walls, for potential meta gaming because they’re upset they lost an encounter, I mean like Bonano and Altoviti or Gambino (whoever the hell it is) would kill each other off the first hour if they weren’t restricted. Its a constant bitch fest While china town is large, they’ve kinda lost numbers idk man, the last racket event Corsica averaged 10-11 people if not less and placed above takahashi, not sure if they got lazy or what.

Hey, Admin here who handled your PK! Your reason was VCWP (Violent Confrontation With Police) The VCWP rule states, "Initiating a shootout or violent confrontation with Police can lead to a PK. Killing or attacking an Officer after initiating a violent confrontation leaves you PK active from officers for about 15 minutes. Generally we want people to not immediately go for the gun when dealing with Police, as a result if you escalate a situation to a shootout and lose you can be punished via PK as your character was killed. This does not apply if it is the Police that fired first or escalated to a shootout." I'm unsure if you misread the rule, but it doesn't specifically state that a shootout is the only reason; a violent confrontation (in this instance, hitting an officer and a civilian with your car) was a PK'able action. If you had stopped the car to talk and not attempted to drive off, your character would not have died. In the clip I was provided (The same one you provided above), you run the group over, then reverse, and perform what seems like an attempt to flee. Along with this, you even seemed to accelerate before hitting the group. I understand you may have been lagging, but in the sit, you had no proof or clip of you lagging in the car, only saying you could provide me one of you lagging in the sit itself. I even went as far as pulling the police officer in question (at your request) to see if he'd maybe like to just go ahead with a proper RP scenario (like arresting you or something), but he wasn't interested. I even got a second opinion from @DopeAsRoe. With the facts provided to me and your lack of proof of lag, I felt comfortable PK'ing your character. I wish you luck in your appeal. Please clip any potential lag that results in a death or RP scenario in the future. You were also at 126 ping during the sit which... is pretty standard.

Upon accepting an invitation to a criminal organisation, you acknowledge the risks that come with it. And while your bosses could have said they were loving your work, they don't always have to be telling the truth. While I understand your potential frustration, at the end of the day, your higher-ups deemed it necessary.

Hi banning mod here! The reason you were banned was RDM, as you had 2 priors and I decided a 2 day ban would suffice. The main problem with this entire situation was ; Firstly, you guys were following him. I understand telling someone to leave, but you all actively followed him, preventing him from leaving anywhere. You not only parked a car inside the entrance to the car dealer, at 2:05 in the clip provided, but your friends proceeded to stand in his way and bodyblock, not allowing him to exit. Not only did I get a second opinion from AceAdmiral at your request, I got a third and final opinion from gozmouz. Your other biggest issue was with how you handle escalation. You seem to think you can immediately kill someone just for calling you some bad words and or offending you. Please do refer to the escalation guidelines in the future, as you're not allowed to kill them just for offending you.
