A lot of people have told me to apply, and many people have even just assumed that I'm a member of staff. Everyone has heard the classic line a million times that they've been around at times where there are 0 staff online, causing incidents to go unchecked if victims don't take the time to go to the forums. I'm fortunate enough for this to not have been a huge issue for me in the past, but I have heard the complaint a million times, and would love to be able to do my part and help out when it's needed. Throughout my time playing GMod (9,614 hours in 18 years), I have always enjoyed staff work as it always makes whatever server I do it on feel like a better place. Why should you be considered over other candidates?: I have gained a lot of knowledge throughout my time in the city in order to understand how things work and how rules are enforced. Any staff sit I'd be involved in would be professional and calm, and my understanding of the rules would ensure sound judgement in situations that require it. I'm also very used to the kind of harsh language and ignorance that would come with dealing with minges and whatnot, making staff sits go cleaner and more efficiently. My schedule is wide open and I mainly work evenings so my time on the server usually lines up when staff is sparse. What is your favourite moment on Diverge so far?: Very recently I trained for days for a fight against Detective Mickey Wickers on my main character Luigi Medici. This fight meant a lot to me and I knew the entire (.//criminal side of the) city was counting on me to show up for them. The event itself was very well put together, and the environment when I came out to fight was more electric than anything I've experienced in the city. Going on for two years, my main character has 1034 hours, and many of them have been spent talking to people and showing new people around. Even in a High Command position, I still hire fresh citizens and try my best to show them around the city in the process (eventually handing them off to someone in a more suitable position to explain how the city works). I've done countless scenarios for people coming up, giving my best effort to make things seem as real as possible for them. Have any staff members recommended you? Someone RDMs and you are currently off-duty. How do you handle this?: I would get a clip of the situation, and make a report, just like anyone else. If no other staff are available in a timely manner, I'd likely just make a forums report and let it be handled from there. No staff below Super should use their power in situations they're involved in. You have seen a fellow staff member of higher or equal rank than you abusing fairly often, but never doing anything too noticeable. What do you do?: I would gather evidence as I see the abuse occur, recordings, screenshots, etc. After this I would hand off the evidence to a member of staff of higher rank and that has no RP affiliations with the offender (if possible), so they can handle the situation without bias. A member of your faction / friend of yours has a ticket made against them accusing them of RDM’ing, and minging. You know that this person rarely does this when you play with him. How do you proceed knowing this? Does it constitute possible bias?: I'd wait a considerable amount of time before taking the ticket, especially if there are other staff online that aren't as closely tied to the victim as I would be in this scenario. If no one takes the ticket in a timely manner, I'd treat the situation like any other and require undeniable evidence before taking any action whatsoever, even bringing the supposed offender to a sit. If possible, I'd also DM another staff member for their opinion on a situation before taking action, as the scenario would constitute as possible bias and I would want any situation I'm involved in to be clear of that. ---------------------------------------------------------

i kinda get how adding on the whole shooting in general causing GSR would indeed cause a lot more logs, as there is probably not currently any log made or script running to differentiate logs from weapon type (if tracking +attack- could be coming from a melee, fists or something that wouldn't produce GSR) or if the weapon actually fires etc, would make a ton of logs if the server actually needed to track for that part.

last damage log older than 5 minutes: no GSR on check damage log + hand wipe log check, if hands wiped more recently than last damage log: no GSR on check how does this add even one more log than what's already there? confusing logic here

Hello, I wrote the orders here. This pk was done because you openly snitched to the police about things happening on company property, completely unwarranted. Prior to this, you had several incidents logged by our people of you being a liability and otherwise just generally an issue. You were given a talk and your behavior persisted, thus your pk was greenlit. Also please don't try and interfere or interact with this PK on your Officer, would hate to see what would happen then.

Currently stashes have quite a long timer delaying users from entering them after combat. Unfortunately, this includes damage taken in a car crash, an event that usually wouldn't even prevent a user from switching chars. If this is intended/can't be fixed, whatever, but it's really annoying and would be great if it didn't happen anymore.

Not complaining, just a suggestion for the future. In a perfect world it would be easy to implement

No Face, No Case Add an option to decapitate a corpse in order to simply remove the head from the scene of the crime. Time to dismember an entire corpse is 4.5 minutes so 2 minutes would be a fair time for balance. "does he have hands? does he have a face? yes? then it wasn't us." Add an option to amputate a corpse's hands to prevent their fingerprints from being recovered and used to identify the victim. 1 minute to 1.5 would be reasonable. Also maybe a propane torch or something like that to RP removing tattoos/birth marks im not a psychopath.
