Was being dragged by cop, so was pulled into line of fire - guy shooting states he had the common lag/freeze spike when pulling out a gun and shooting. So during this altercation got killed, pulled into a sit and PKd with the other guy and cop there. Boom did ask if the cop wanna PK me and cop said he didnt and I caught the chops. For the record, didnt ask the guy to kill me as I know that typically leads to PK, think the poor guy had quite the unfortunate lag/aim issue that caused this to happened. I think this happened to DopeAsRoe once and it got accepted, although I will say that was probably because he made it clear to the cops that he was trying to comply and they just didn't let him go back up for air because they wanted to PK him

imo I think it would be fine, just would forfeit/restrict PKs from them if theyre plain clothes. Such as a det plain clothes shooting someone however many feet away so they cant see their badge/blue name (which already kind of how it was before)

I had the idea to jump into the water and swim away at docks to avoid them. but instead of being followed or surrounded by other cops. i was tazed in the water. now i do understand if i am threat i should be tazed but usually tazers and water dont work together lmao. once i was finally tazed while swimming i wasnt able to move, and this happened to be as im coming up for air. in the video you can clearly see me attempt to do that. but the officer tazing me caused me to drown. i do think this is a bit confusing. because irl police wouldnt taze someone swimming away. or in water let alone. i just think if there was a procedure or things to possibly do maybe things like this could be prevented. and it would be less confusing in general to dictate this as fear rp or not. then again i had no intention of drowning myself on purpose again the video shows this. deadass the worst suggestions ive seen in a while, can't tell if you're joking or being serious the death timer is ass, players dont need an incentive to report rdm, if anything it'll just overflow the ticket system to respawn the person who died while the actual tickets from people who actually need a staff sit are left to rot. the only way i'd see the death timer and ems system being paired with eachother and stuff is if the death timer is only enabled when there is at least 5+ non afk ems available so most people are getting revived on time and it does make sense why we cant whisper when talking or yell when talking, its literally impossible, (if it isnt, its just a waste of time) for the voice chat system to work the same as the text one we have, you're basically saying "why cant we have people who dont have the language italian learned not understand when we speak in the voice chat if we're trying to speak in italian" like bro just type, nobody really uses the /yell command and people only use the whisper stuff when its needed type beat. like bro theres millions of things pendred could work on and this is NOT one of them ems system is mid, especially since you're pairing it with the death timer. i mess around with my homeboys all the time and if i needed to call an admin to respawn me if its rdm, or wait 5 minutes for ems, which is going to take a CRAZY amount of time for ems to come because nobody is doing legal rp like ems when they can do cop rp or criminal faction rp, theres just no benefits and no motivation. i mean yea its cool rp but wtf do you get from it, if you need to put a name out for yourself in government, become an ada or clerical assistant, ems is just going to sit there as another inactive faction/subfaction while people wait like 3-5 minutes to respawn when they die. i do see where you're coming from with the ems and stuff, its just to add more rp and stuff but it'd be a useless addition and a waste of time when pendred could be making other stuff that isn't going to be left in the dust, like i said the only way i'd see the death timer and ems system being paired with eachother and stuff is if the death timer is only enabled when there is at least 5+ non afk ems available so most people are getting revived on time, so staff tickets arent being overflowed as much and you dont have to wait out the death timer because theres 0 ems on or 1 afk one

The events are literally impossible for the smaller factions, that's why people call them retarded. The events aren't skill based they're number based, so smaller factions are always going to have an ass racket because they have no reason for players to dedicate their time to, they have no gun rackets, no good drug racket either. People would keep their positions in factions, the entire base of the restart is to add more interaction

the year change is just a small part, it doesn't matter the year its just because of the idea, the year is gonna be 1980 so it's just a smooth time to reset everything. you have to look into the future type shit, there's not going to be growth or development if everybody is stuck where they're at, resetting progress is an amazing way to bring more interaction, more rp, more everything basically. callaghan? who called that a small faction, its more like a middle faction if you think of people who main others and stuff especially during events. i wasnt there for the last event but this event wasnt skill or number based, it was just camping and who could spend the most time grinding at early hours basically. right now yall have 5 people 2 am so that kinda tells me theres a few eu people so yes im sure that helped during the event because there werent a lot of people at those hours. im talking supreme team, 14k triad, legacy, laventine, etc. i never called progression hard what do you mean

Reset Progress after new years when it switches to 1980 This adds more interaction to the server, most people don't even get on anymore because they have millions of dollars and 500 bricks. If a wipe happens, it should happen now (after 1989), all characters will be deleted. People who are added to whitelists like cosmetics and cars still keep those, but their money and guns and drugs and shit are GONE. Faction rackets are wiped and given out random, giving newer or smaller factions a better chance. This adds more roleplay to the server and will probably bring more people to the server as well, it's a fun idea and it brings more to the server than just normally resetting back to 1980.

+1 Realistically, cops would definitely catch on when people deposit or make a lot of money like when they process their drugs or sell their drugs. Having ways to explain it with legitimate businesses like gun stores, clothing stores, etc would be cool and brings more risk when you're doing high profile stuff that gives you a lot of money (trade/crew deals, selling class 4 guns). Right now the only way for cops to really tap into the criminal world is just through being an undercover agent and that's mainly detectives only, adding this brings more criminal and cop rp. Could maybe have a separate division like IA to investigate suspicious withdraws or deposits. Honestly this could tie into the briefcases suggestion. There will be a max amount of cash you can carry in your wallet so people don't avoid the update entirely by just not depositing anything, but you can also fill briefcases with money and put them in your bank for big cash deals. Briefcases are limited though so you won't be able to fill much, maybe around $25,000 with the cost of the briefcase costing $5,000? If you want to fill higher amounts, you either have to a) upgrade the briefcase with some npcs that trade, into an upgraded briefcase which can carry $50,000 b) buy a duffle bag from barge or sewer npc which can carry $250,000 but is risky as it can show up on your back when carrying it at full/near full amount as well as showing "carrying a large sum of money" red text kind of similar to the package event thing
