It would be a pretty good addition to RP to make a notepad which you could draw as a physical item in your inv. This could be used for restaurant RP where you write out tickets and give them to the kitchen, or for jotting down phone numbers, taking messages for people, or leaving physical notes for people to read. It would just be a lot more convenient and immersive than making a google doc, printing it out, and then handing it to someone. The way I envision it working is a bit like the stolen checks only its reusable for a certain amount of notes. You would right click on the notepad, start new note. On the new note you would just write on a blank paper, or a sheet of lined paper, the writing system being like the stolen checks. Using left click to write and right click to erase. Then you would click a button to tear off the note, then giving yourself the note as an item to give/do with as you please. The only problem I see there being is a huge increase of items in the server from people making a bunch of notes. So, maybe to counter that you could also add a recycling bin where old notes and old printed out things could go too. Or just add a lighter and let us burn shit. /notepad would not work for this because you cannot physically hand it to someone

I think a nice addition would be to make it so that every blow by a baton incrementally slows down the player, but if they don’t continuously beat them then the effect wears off in a short amount of time, as to still give the player a chance to run away. The thing is that there’s not really a way to stop a player from running physically apart from the RMB on the baton which is pretty ineffective and if the stun effect was extended it would just be overpowered.

Hello, While yes the officers link was lacking a bit of context, yours had plenty. Your clip shows you inserting yourself into a pursuit of someone you don’t know/have the f3 of. Borderline minging and cop baiting. Throughout the chase you made MULTIPLE attempts to, and even successfully at times, purposefully crash into these officers to disrupt the chase. Effectively using your vehicle as a weapon, beginning the violent confrontation. And even @ 1:04 in your clip it appears as if you are making an attempt to backup and knock over the officer. Eventually the officers have enough of your antics and shoot your tires in an attempt to hinder your attempts to flee. By doing this they didn’t even damage you at all. If it hadn’t been for the other points I previously made I would possibly maybe have a differing opinion. But that is not the case here. You then knock over the two officers and kill one. All while using OOC terms and giggling autisticly. You purposefully inserted your self in this interaction, you purposefully used your vehicle as a weapon, you purposefully killed a cop and then died. Had you not done all this your character will still be alive, this is all on you.

This individual already suggested as such in the bugs section, but I have actually thought about this in the past. It would be helpful if we could test drive options like different suspension systems, and turbo on a vehicle before committing to a purchase. I remember years ago I wasn't impressed with the speed of the Gran Torino so I purchased Turbo and to my disappointment it did absolutely nothing. Testing the mechanics of the turbo, and suspension to uniquely fine tune the needs of each vehicle is essential. Not every car will potentially function well with a racing suspension. After fine tuning and commiting to the purchase after testing it out seems much more practical.

World Corp was rarely used for actual good RP. It's a waste of space for a building. It made players an easy target to get mugged, and it was primarily used to jump off or drug deals. The drug deals ended whenever the PD would come and search the building every 10 minutes. Every since, it became empty until some idiot would go to the top and advertise that he was jumping off. The coolest part of the building; The top floor; was owned by a faction that hardly ever used it and just kept the doors locked 24/7. It would be a continuous cycle if it gets added back.

Mate if you truly hired me then you or the associated party I talked with would have had me under an actual employment contract. The "hiring" was an off the cuff remark in discord dms saying that you would pay me between $10,000 to $25,000 per contract template that I drafted. I said sweet and thank you because I thought as said in dms that we were going into business together and that I would be directing a certain aspect of that business. You disliked where that was heading and wanted to meet with me in the city to which I did and attempted to defuse the situation. Instead you decided to threaten me and prevent my civilian character from filing any enterprise application aka I couldn't file any businesses or I would violate fear rp and face pk. Plainly I think that is stupid because a citizen should not be placed under that level of fear rp because it limits their roleplay ability to act as a citizen. For example if a faction can't place citizens under fear rp for 911 calls even though its legitimate legal action in the city that can cause potential harm to the faction. So why should a citizen be placed under fear rp and be at the risk of a pk for setting up any type of legal business which has pretty much little to no chance of majorly harming a faction? Honestly, I considered myself to be an organizer on behalf of investors for the planned enterprise rather than an employee because A: I had no employment contract and B: I was the one doing all the paperwork, licensing, and organizing. On top of all that I was never paid and I want to reiterate that pretty much all of the "planning" was done in discord dms. I also can provide clips if needed.

I think it’s a pretty good idea. We already have a text notepad but something we could scratch on and tear off like those old ticket pads with the carbon copy layers would be kinda nostalgic but I could see a big increase in junk dumped everywhere. I believe that there was some use of Metagame to some extent, also in the PK rules it states "Officers may not execute suspects, they must make an effort to arrest a suspect and when possible render aid to a bleeding suspect." where as in our situation they were lying in wait and immediately met us with bullets with no exchange of words. Furthermore, as a civilian I am entitled to protections outlined in the PK guidelines in which I cannot be pked unless a high bar is met. Under the current guidelines a valid pk reason for a civilian is the following: 1. A civilian working with the government or a state agency with the intention of harming a faction in court through an affidavit and testimony. Or 2. A civilian is threatened to prevent snitching (disclosure of information to the detriment of a faction) and does not comply with said threat. With that being said PK's can also be carried out under fear rp scenarios. But, I do not believe that I can be placed under fear rp for the sole reason of preventing me from making a legal enterprise/business. Citizens are allowed to make 911 calls to the police without fear of being pked. I fail to see why someone setting up an enterprise would damage a faction so immensely that there could be no other solution other than a PK. But, I guess its kosher since UA approved it including the OOC discord messages of me taking with a Corsican faction leader about the structure and business model of an enterprise. I guess this server can only run on faction rp and will never allow citizen/legal rp to flourish because initiative is not rewarded unless it is done within a faction. That last bit there was kind of a rant, but honestly I do not feel that writing a long winded PK application will do anything because of my prior bad acts of metagaming and because I personally have spent time and effort developing a viable enterprise all to see it wasted over a petty squabble and miscommunication.
