None of us reported each other as none of us had an issue with each other, If a staff member truly had an issue with it and was witnessing the situation they could have pulled us aside and told us to stop. We were all just having a laugh and I'm confused how only I have ended up losing my props. I apologise for messing around but I don't see how we were hugely affecting the server enough to blacklist my props alone quite a bit of time after the incident had occurred. On a day to day basis I use my props as a way to improve the roleplay experience, I have built multiple dupes as of recent and would like to continue building.

I have spent a lot of time here and I have come to really respect the work the staff puts in to keep things running smoothly. I have seen how much behind the scenes effort goes into keeping the community fair and enjoyable and I would like to be part of that. The main reason I am applying is because I have been in situations where players needed help; maybe they were being unfairly targeted, confused about the rules or just trying to report something with no response, and I want to be someone who can step in and actually do something about it. How do you handle this?: I would complete my current RP scenario After completing my current scenario I would switch to my staff character to process the ticket which should have been created by then unless another staff member intervened first. I would handle any additional open tickets when I'm on my staff character. You have seen a fellow staff member of higher or equal rank than you abusing fairly often, but never doing anything too noticeable. What do you do?: If I believed that abuse was happening, that is, wrongful actions being done intentionally, I would immediately report it to a member of UA. I would also start gathering any evidence I come across that supports my concerns. I think notifying UA early is important because they might be able to uncover evidence that I would not notice on my own. A member of your faction / friend of yours has a ticket made against them accusing them of RDM’ing, and minging. You know that this person rarely does this when you play with him. How do you proceed knowing this? Does it constitute possible bias?: I think it’s important to remember that bias is usually subconscious. Even if someone tries really hard to be fair, it can still sneak into their decisions without them realizing it. So if I saw a ticket involving someone I know before I took it, I’d try not to take it unless there was no other way for it to get handled. If I already took the ticket and then realized I might have some bias toward that person, I’d hand it off to another staff member so no unfair decisions get made. But if I had no choice and had to deal with it, I’d do my best to stay as unbiased as possible and share all the evidence with another staff member to get a second opinion when I can. As for knowing someone or being friends with them, that doesn’t mean they get a free pass. It’s up to the staff handling the ticket to make the right call, and there are always ways to appeal if something doesn’t seem fair. Honestly, I think bias is probably there in most cases, even if it’s not on purpose. So it’s important to stay aware of it and take steps to keep it from affecting decisions.

I mean i thought about having a description lock in the past where at least certain parts of your description like height, weight, eye colour and hair colour can't be changed at all, but I imagine it's not the most popular change. A cooldown is an interesting suggestion, but I feel like the change doesn't matter Commit mugging -> change description -> but now i'm on a 30 minute cooldown with a new description, still can't be identified. OR you have it change but it takes ~15 minutes to apply the change? (a bit too weird imo) Maybe something to address in the future.

Im not sure how this would float, however I wanna put this out there as maybe someone or some people can help really curate the idea. Essentially, I think it would be pretty cool to have a separate board like the advertising board (or maybe it can be the same board). Where PD and Journalists can add stories to the board based on actual events that have taken place in the server. Examples: Someone big gets arrested, a news article is written out and a little notification pops up saying theres new news. Someone dies to PD or gets killed in a mugging after PD investigation, PD can disclose whatever information they know to the press and an article is written. The reason I feel like this may add some robust immersion is because it will allow people to assume infamous roles. Just to be clear though these articles wouldnt disclose any information that could potentially lead to metagaming. This is idea is more thought out for more immersion in the city. Even the examples shown above dont have to be the only articles written, they could be about nearly anything. Again this idea isnt well thought out, but I do believe its an element that if utilized correctly could lead to some interesting cohesion through the city.

This update should also be accompanied by a secondary inventory that a player could obtain by /stretching daily. somewhat like a stash but within your body, maybe 6 item slots considering some individuals could likely fit an assault rifle within there "prison pocket"

While yes you were frozen by staff, after investigating it was proven that no it was not abuse and that it had zero influence on the outcome of this situation. The freezing was completely unrelated to your actual death. Now with your death, while the car did hit you, it was also clear it was not intentional and they did still wait for you to get up before shooting you. Again though, them hitting you with their car had no influence on how the kill unfolded, would have had the same outcome. Your appeal has been reviewed and denied. Hello, I'm the admin that approved this pk and I can assure you that there was no metagame involved as at the same time of spectating you for make sure the hit happens I was also playing another game with my friends on my other monitor and I didn't realise I had tabbed out of the game so when I tried to right click in the game it froze you with the admin stick. It happened by mistake and as soon as I did it I had realised my mistake and instantly went to unfreeze you.

I was in fact actually gonna help a 14K triad member because they told me they wete mugged then they went anf sent me a invalid clip. I was the staff member who did the flags blacklist. I was flying around the city, and I happened to come across this interaction you described in your appeal. While yes it may be true you were not hugely affecting the server, but you were still trying to use several props to kill your friend. To be noted that I also asked in the staff chat for a second opinion, as I did not want to be unfair, and a fellow staff member told me that you should know better as you have a previous note for the same instance, as well as you being an old player on the server, and should have been aware of server rules regardless. Will leave the decision for the unblacklist for other staff member.

After reading Pendred's reply idk if this is a joke or not. Ill give my honest opinion anyway; this is the most braindead thing ever. All items you have are stored into your inventory, which btw cops can see. The only way I see this making sense, is for there to be a "hidden slot" lawyers can access and bring in knives, rope, or whatever to make suicides in jail a bit more interactive. However thats likely not gonna happen. Honestly your playing a mafia server getting arrested shouldnt be the end of the world even if its a felony. Ive seen people delete characters over misdemeanors which is appalling. I dont see why this would need to be incorporated to any extent. -1
