Apparently, I got character restricted for something that happened 3+weeks ago on an account that already has a limit of two characters. I just got the donator today and was wondering why I wasn't able to create more characters. I also don't recall being told I was being character restricted, nor would I assume that would happen when I already have a max limit of two characters. That is actually a bit strange. What is your motivation/reason for applying?: I have been playing for a few years now and have enjoyed every moment of it and have always been interested in a staff position but it just wasn't an option for me because of my history. I regret that and want to show that I've changed, which is why I've worked for the past few months on turning things around. I want to be more involved in the community and help out and have been wanting something to do in the down time where I don't do anything on my characters, and I believe I can put that time into staff. Becoming staff and putting in the effort to improve the server is the best way for me to show myself and others that I've grown and can contribute to the community. Why should you be considered over other candidates?: * I should be considered because of the goals I want to achieve. My goals for being in the staff team are high and I wish to improve the roleplay and make some friends along the way. I know the server very well and have good judgement of the rules which can all be used as staff. One of the main reasons I'm applying is because I know I have a rough history here and have broken more rules than most; but I think that because of my encounters with the rules, I have a better understanding of them than most which makes me more qualified than others. What is your favourite moment on Diverge so far?: There was a celebration/get together of the federation and they brought out a boat dupe. It was one of the rare times that roleplay felt genuine as I had all my norte friends there, messing around and having a good time. Have any staff members recommended you? How do you handle this? I would wrap up whatever situation I was in and take the ticket if nobody else has, hear both sides and decide what to do from there. You have seen a fellow staff member of higher or equal rank than you abusing fairly often, but never doing anything too noticeable. What do you do?: I would start off by messaging them and letting them know that what they are doing is wrong. If they choose to ignore it, I would report it to a higher up. A member of your faction / friend of yours has a ticket made against them accusing them of RDM’ing, and minging. You know that this person rarely does this when you play with him. How do you proceed knowing this? Does it constitute possible bias?: I wouldn't take the ticket to avoid anyone calling it biased. If the ticket stayed open I would take it but keep the evidence in mind and make a fair decision based on what I've seen. ---------------------------------------------------------

While yes you were frozen by staff, after investigating it was proven that no it was not abuse and that it had zero influence on the outcome of this situation. The freezing was completely unrelated to your actual death. Now with your death, while the car did hit you, it was also clear it was not intentional and they did still wait for you to get up before shooting you. Again though, them hitting you with their car had no influence on how the kill unfolded, would have had the same outcome. Your appeal has been reviewed and denied. After reading Pendred's reply idk if this is a joke or not. Ill give my honest opinion anyway; this is the most braindead thing ever. All items you have are stored into your inventory, which btw cops can see. The only way I see this making sense, is for there to be a "hidden slot" lawyers can access and bring in knives, rope, or whatever to make suicides in jail a bit more interactive. However thats likely not gonna happen. Honestly your playing a mafia server getting arrested shouldnt be the end of the world even if its a felony. Ive seen people delete characters over misdemeanors which is appalling. I dont see why this would need to be incorporated to any extent. -1
