Why should you be unPK'd? What server rule or PK rule was violated?: So first and foremost, I was a capo in Altoviti (Not required to pay kickups) I was then moved to enforcer due to activity reasons for a short period of time, technically is required to pay kickups but no one ever contacted me in regard to paying or anything of the sort. I was then retired and then around a week later all of my roles were removed in their discord. If someone from the faction can provide any hard proof of me harming relations with allies, I would love to see it as the only disagreements ever had with any allies within the commission were out of character through discord due to people shit talking me for no reason and not being able to take it back. If proof can be provided for any of these reasonings I would love to see it for myself as none of it is true and it's just an excuse to kill me because they don't like me. Can go more into detail about my falling out with the faction and alliance etc if need be but I see no reason to as if any sort of investigation is done it will show that the reasoning behind this PK is complete bull shit. If possible please provide video evidence or photo evidence if PK does not follow the guidelines: N/A

I agree that less lethal options should be introduced, but not because the taser is too ineffective- If you have a reticle and just slightly shoot ahead of the target then the taser is not too bad. Though there’s no harm in adding a little bit of spice. It SHOULD NOT be limited to PD either, available to everyone because they are non-lethal. (Obviously if used against cops or fear-rp situations then normal rules would apply and you’d get pk’d, and regular server rules apply such as ARDM/RDM/NITRP). Cadet’s and Probationary Officers can train on them too, ensuring they are up to NYPD standards before moving up to the rank of Officer. To balance things out, you could also add pro’s and con’s to each piece of equipment. Maybe it can be a new racket? Possibly for legal factions only. Beanbag shotguns Pro’s - 1. Knocks down whoever you shot for a short time. (like /fallover1) 2. Can be open-carried (duh it’s non lethal) 3. It’s a slug, so the range should be pretty good. Con’s - 1. Would have orange or some colour representing it’s just a bean bag shotgun. 2. It’s a slug, so your aim has to be good. 3. It’s a pump shotgun, and re-chambering a round takes slightly longer than usual. 4. It’s a separate firearm, you cannot use regular shotgun ammo or have another primary equipped with it. Pepper Spray Pro’s - 1. Temporarily impairs the vision of the target. (Like a Brown’s Blended Bourbon but worse). This can be used as an alternative to a taser; as you don’t need to be too accurate and is quicker to deter criminals from starting shootouts. Usually when a cop pulls out a taser and he’s alone it’s GGs. 2. Good to give to newbies that don’t have licenses for firearms to slightly give them an edge getting away from muggers or general situations that require them to run away. Con’s - 1. It’s a mist that lingers for a very short period of time; the user could accidentally pepper spray himself or other officers. 2. Has a limit on how many times can be used. Maybe 3-4 sprays until it’s empty. SATIRE Pink fluffy handcuffs. I mean just imagine walking the “tough guy” back to PD in pink fluffy handcuffs. No matter what he says, no one will take him seriously. K9’s. Have a staff member occasionally switch to a dog model. Can be faster, and can sniff drugs, firearms or explosives. I know Monaclu would be down to do this. Water Cannons. Put it on a bearcat and just flush everyone away.

Yes it should, I agree yeah maybe it should be sold by hardware or whatever. Maybe it can be sold by the ammo NPCs, or have a separate npc in the gun stores for the less lethal. also the shotgun should be able to shoot the range of 15 in game footsteps. and the tasers should have a function to tase close quarters and shoot prongs.

Beanbag shotgun's 1. Knocking somebody over is extremely over powered, especially in a situation where such a device would be practical whether its a cop or conflict situation 2. What sense does it make for civilians to openly carry around a beanbag shotgun? 3. How far of a distance? Only way I see this being balanced is if it can only reach like across the street. ------------------------------------ Pepper Spray 1. Aim should matter when using pepper spray, a body shot should not impair your vision. Should be headshots only. 2. The lingering effect wouldn't be terrible, but would have to be pretty short and a small linger area. 3. A limit of 3-4 uses before it runs out is pretty fair but should have a slight cooldown in between sprays if it causes a lingering effect. ------------------------------------ There would be no real reason that civilians need a beanbag shotgun. Maybe pepper spray but where would you get it? If its a racket, would civs have access to it? Doesn't make a whole lot of sense for them to. It would have to be added something like a light weapons racket that has things like pistols and melee weapons rather than its own separate racket. Maybe then I could see it being somewhat plausible. Even if only cops had them, both items would have to do actual damage so normal pk and escalation rules apply in cop and conflict situations. While both of these are non-lethal, they still do damage like a baton does. Being shot by a beanbag round isn't like being shot with a rubber bullet, you can fracture/break bones, and cause other serious injuries. And obviously pepper spray burns your eyes and throat. ------------------------------------ Overall, I don't hate the idea of either of these. They would just have to being incorporated in such a way where it doesn't give the user unfair advantages. I really only see beanbag weaponry being used by law enforcement. Pepper spray on the other hand might have actual civilian use if its done properly. Edit: The main issue/reason I see people saying add other non-lethal alternatives is because tasers can be a lil weird sometimes. My answer to that is get good or maybe add a stun gun that you have to make contact with like the baton.

During my time as capo all money given to me was passed to high command when it was supposed to be, you expected a specific amount of money yet never told me I needed to cover it it was always an optional thing. I was enforcer for all of what 1 maybe 2 weeks? Before I was force retired. I have a full time job and diverge isn’t the main thing on my mind so sorry that it slipped my mind yknow typically when you expect someone to pay money you ping them or say hey don’t forget about this btw. The metagame allegation is because the orders were most likely only written after I unwhitelisted from the faction so if that’s the case you tell me that doesn’t seem suspicious? And completely disregarding the kickup situation provide me proof of the other reasons. I wanna know when I harmed faction relations in character and not in discord calls because people loved to talk shit about me and couldn’t take it when I gave it back. Also I’d love atleast an explanation if not hard proof of me “bragging about illegal activity in public” because that also just simply is not true.

As said never once bragged about any sort of illegal activities. If anyone can come forward with some proof that would be wonderful, I would also like to know the date the orders were written if possible as if they were written within the 2 week timer of me leaving the faction that would lean heavily towards them only writing orders due to knowing i left the faction from metagame.

Also this could be argued in different ways but you chose to be stupid about it so I'll leave it at that. I agree. They literally camp known conflict areas and then immediately @ when they got mowed down after a situation has escalated. There should absolutely be some leniency for that.

With what Bacon said and the other appeal for the same situation being denied, this will have to be denied. To reiterate, with this escalation, both sides were made clear of the rules and which buildings were the safe houses which, if raided, could lead to a PK. You guys knew you weren't meant to have keys to the property and abused the broken keys instead of reporting it, you clearly planned the whole thing in order to start a shootout. So with you technically breaking into a safehouse in order to start a shootout, we would consider this a raid, meaning the PK is valid.

When I got banned off Diverge I frustration and anger, but I took a couple months to think about it and really REFLECT on myself. I have learned to accept that I was obnoxious, Lying, rude, destructive and god right such a nasty person to deal with... When I played the server I would always think that everyone was the problem (including the admin team) I always had this weird thought that I was being targeted by other people in the server, but now that I had the time to reflect on myself and really understand the gravity of this situation and made the big step to accepting that none of that was true... I realized that I needed to fix all the bad things that were going on in my life outside gmod/diverge networks. And once I began to accept that I had some problems and got my attitude better. And the reason I want to come back into the community is because I realized that I also had fun times with my friends and others. And this message goes to the staff team of diverge. Hello! I was the Admin who oversaw your PK. Orders were as you already know per you stating to it in the appeal- due to harming relations with multiple allied factions, Failing to pay dues, and lack of safety of the faction by openly bragging about illegal activities. Seeing the age behind your character you already know that there were risks with joining the faction, openly bragging about the illegal things you have done while in the faction does put the whole alliance at risk! As for the paying kick-ups; as you also stated in your appeal, you were once a capo. While yes, you probably did not need to pay taxes as a capo, you stated "technically" which could be interpreted as you having knowledge that you did in-fact need to pay kick-up as an enforcer. Sorry for the lost of your character! Hope this reply helps!
