What server rule or PK rule was violated?: Discord is generally considered OOC unless it is owned by Diverge Networks, and has the channel clearly stated as IC. I.E: [IC], [In Character] You cannot use IC info in OOC scenarios and vice versa. (META) Any 3rd party Voice / VOIP program is considered OOC while in the server. In order for you to communicate with other players you must use in game chat or voice functions, we added radios for this exact reason. Coordinating anything IC in a third party voice program is metagaming and will lead to a ban and/or a void of an RP situation. (the only reason i got on was due to this message below and during the "pk finding of @adam" i was called in vc with consig to plan and try to find him and such) ( underboss telling me to get on using ooc discord chat messages and also btw we were cordinating the hits all in private oocs nothing in game ( me and consig joining a ooc vc talking about pking adam and telling me that hes on using ooc and therefore metagaming If possible please provide video evidence or photo evidence if PK does not follow the guidelines: i put it above sorry Nah but fr tho this whole pk was ooc lmao metagame ill admit even i was metagaming ik big shock, but this whole pk / war between commission has been 100% ooc from the colombos and its allies, they have been planning and doing anything and everything in discord messages and such. and the only reason i even got on tonight was because of a ping in a ooc message between me and my dead underboss so idk lmao u tell me if this is metagame or not. and also before hand in vc with everyone they were telling me to get on and such and not ic only in ooc and telling us to coordinate in game and metagaming basically.

Hey, Don of the faction in which you were pked out of here. Even though I wasn't the one to write the orders personally, I'll leave a little comment for any reviewing staff to see. As Toast already mentioned, the main reason for your death was due to you leaking sensitive information, about which I had heard multiple reports from quite a few of my guys. Rather straight forward there. In regards to all of the other things you mentioned, there is already prior precedent set for pks about messaging a person to meet up with them or to get online not being against the rules. If I can find the specific appeal in which Canadian made that comment, I'll leave it below in another reply. To say that things were communicated and planned OOC would be a lie. As I'm sure you know, I was also on the radio frequency that my enforcer was on with you when you were "looking for someone", and even spoke to you directly on said radio. (You weren't looking for someone, they were just killing you.) Your death was discussed leading to orders being given with myself and a few members of our command in-game also, and was not handled OOCly. I also find it hilarious that the moment you get pked you go on a schizo posting session inside of the diverge general chat on the discord attempting to leak more totally real information that you heard to who you think the targets are and you even end it with "if anyone needs anymore info lmk". (LOL) Oh and did I mention that was only one of the messages you sent? Anyway, I don't think there's anything else that I need to say in regards to this appeal. RIP Antonio Caleno I guess.

Hello, I'm the admin that had pk'ed you. Just to say you were only pk'ed on your Lucien Dupont Character not your Alisio Ramano. It was originally going to be both due to you saying you had item transferred but with a further look into it you hadn't item transferred anything. The reason for your Lucien Dupont character getting pk'ed was because after 30-35 minutes of spectating you with a recording started you had broken 6 rules with 3 of them being Breaking raid timer, Mugging character and Failmug, with mugging 3 people in 30 ish minutes and 2 of them was in front of an NPC and the other was out in public

just being realistic my man, i roleplay when the time calls for it / scenario but kinda hard when 90% of the time its just people running around aimlessly. no need to get salty. cars are out for at most 5-6 minutes everytime they are pulled out unless someone is actively driving cause they just despawn, if there's a debuff for driving to long that makes car dirty people will just respawn it, people wouldn't really clean. Most civs just get hired / recruited to a faction or stay civ because they minge on it. This isn't a already existing addon, and it would require two different systems to make it's not really useful in any way, nor beneficial and it most likely just wont get added.

Ill first state that this kill was not coming from any escalation from any current conflictions going on in the server. This kill was not approved prior by UA as Money Blue alluded to above, but with that being said I will break down kill. Evidence was shown that you had been harassing the Kosher Deli multiple times and clearly had pissed some people off. So yes, you were a target, but there is a difference between targeting a faction for a mug, versus targeting an individual for a mugging because of his actions. While escalation rules may dictate the appropriate time a faction can target an enemy faction with mugging, the two factions are currently not at an escalation level, thus making your claim null and void. The muggers were on main characters, and YOU decided to chase them to a secluded location which on the mugging map is a “mug where you stand” location. Upon entering the back room you were confronted with guns to your face with the verbal command to put your hands up which would place you under FearRp. As stated in the rules : “Note that you must have a valid reason to place someone under FearRP (See FearRP rules), initiating a mugging is a valid reason to hold someone under fear RP”. If you read item 9 under mugging rules, it states: There are several ways you may initiate a mugging, the following actions can be considered initiation of a mugging: - Attempting to Zip tie someone [Does not apply if you BAIT people into tying you by saying they may or by stealing their items, therefore forcing them to tie you to retrieve them.] - Holding someone at gunpoint with the intention of mugging them - Holding someone at gunpoint to pull them to a secluded location for a mugging Thus making this a valid initiation of a mugging, as they were attempting for you to go back into the back room. You turn to leave and another verbal command of get back here was given, which was clearly heard in the clip that was provided. If we continue down to item 10 of the mugging rules it sates: When can you kill someone in a mugging for it to be considered a PK? - You must FIRST, properly initiate a mugging (See Mugging Rule 9.) - They attempt to flee while you have them at gunpoint/fear rp. (Does not apply if you disengage fear rp. See fear rp rules) - They attempt to fight back while you have them at gunpoint/fear rp. (Does not apply if you disengage fear rp. See fear rp rules) - They attempt to move or avoid being restrained while you tie them under fear rp. - If they disobey direct orders multiple times (while under fear rp) which leads to complications in the mugging. ex: Refuses to stay still and moves one or two steps at a time to try and escape, refuses to stop talking leading to someone overhearing the mugging. - They do not obey a reasonable demand in a reasonable amount of time. ex: Ordering them to follow you (while under fear RP) and refusing to move after several requests and a reasonable amount of time to obey, effectively stalling the mugging to be discovered. If we follow down the chain of events, the mugging was initiated correctly, you were brought under FearRp correctly, you decided to attempt to flee while you were under gunpoint/fearrp, thus making you PK active. A soft +1 PRO - Diverse - Experienced enough player who would possibly do good in the position - I like the idea of making your low faction members wear clothing you have picked, some factions do this decent enough, but if it's done well I think it's a good RP navigator. CON - The red and black in the google doc is an eyesore. - The backstory is lack luster and super generic. You go into more detail about the members of your faction than you do about the actual faction itself. I want to read more about how the faction got started, the means of it's survival and how it's going to move forward. - Your RP ideas are also extremely generic, there is nothing different than any other faction. - Security companies don't work. I.e why would the Lucchese hire a security faction when they have 1000 throwaway associates? Something to consider: - As Kurt pointed out, RPing as Russian, or any other nationality for that matter can be difficult and you run the risk of your faction becoming generic if you don't encourage people to use an accent etc. I'd highly recommend writing an RP guide and if you get accepted, really drilling it into people and even go as far as maybe not hiring people who refuse to participate in the Eastern Europe RP.

When I got banned off Diverge I frustration and anger, but I took a couple months to think about it and really REFLECT on myself. I have learned to accept that I was obnoxious, Lying, rude, destructive and god right such a nasty person to deal with... When I played the server I would always think that everyone was the problem (including the admin team) I always had this weird thought that I was being targeted by other people in the server, but now that I had the time to reflect on myself and really understand the gravity of this situation and made the big step to accepting that none of that was true... I realized that I needed to fix all the bad things that were going on in my life outside gmod/diverge networks. And once I began to accept that I had some problems and got my attitude better. And the reason I want to come back into the community is because I realized that I also had fun times with my friends and others. And this message goes to the staff team of diverge. Part of my suggestion would have included cars getting dirty/requiring a minigame to actually scrub it, but I shy away from it due to the fact that the engine/game has so many limitations. I'd rather let them decide whether it'd be solely RP or if it could be an actual game element. I'm fine with either/or.

a lot of these “points” ur making come from the view of a low level associate. PLENTY of political stuff/outer-faction issues goes on behind the scenes.

Things are always changing so how about just roleplay and try to be smart? Some of these tips in the meta game are ok but maybe it is better to have newbie criminals who haven’t been given orientation from a faction fall into the newbie trap. There’s always going to be a learning curve, either way, and the goal post will never stop moving as features are added/changed. Just don’t treat it like real life, leave your ego at the door, play your character somewhat seriously if you actually care, and don’t be too upset when/if you die or lose shit. Even the best of us take Ls or make dumb choices. A Sicilian proverb comes to mind. “Unu sbagghiu si po’ perdonare, ma du’ è ‘na scusa.” (“One mistake can be forgiven, but two is an excuse.”) This implication is that making the same mistake twice shows carelessness or intention, which is less forgivable, even if at times we play tongue-in-cheek (I know some people take this less seriously, even. I know it’s not real fucking life.) It aligns well with Mafioso culture’s emphasis on accountability and learning from errors. So, it fits to keep a clear head in character AND out.

My contributions to the community are all done in-city through quality roleplay and upholding the spirit of the hobby rather than getting caught up in constantly trying to push an agenda that eliminates having to work and interact with others to keep up with the competition. How about work with what the city has to offer and think out something more balanced that actually contributes something to the city rather than "money printer go brr".
