What server rule or PK rule was violated?: I should be unPK'd because the officers broke into my apartment and I was in fear for my life at the time because all I saw was people with guns pointed at the door. I closed and locked the door and asked for identification from the officers but they did not give me any. They then proceeded to unlock my door which made me scared so my first reaction was to try and fight them. I had been recently threatened by gunman so I was scared they came after me. The officers broke the rules by not identifying themselves and barging into my home without my permission. I was in fear for my life and now I see that maybe that was stupid but I was scared so I fought them. I honestly just want my 5000 back as I have just started the game.

Hi! I am the member of staff who killed your character. When you participate in crimes such as mugging/lockpicking you are liable to be shot and killed by people. In this case you were lockpicking a room in the ghetto that belonged to a guy, he came over, saw you lockpicking and shot you dead. Due to this, your character is then liable to be permanently killed. I would recommend reading up on the PK Guidelines so that you understand what actions can cause your character to be PKed.

The officer wasn't camping. Yes, the cops clip looks like camping, but after verifying some information in logs, the cop was across the street just a minute before this encounter. Unfortunately, you took a gamble by shooting at a cop, and lost the gunfight. To clarify on something, if a cop is camping a NPC waiting for a failed cheque notification, that is still NPC camping, and against the rules. Your appeal has been reviewed and denied. Length of ban: 24 Hours Reason for appeal (dispute/apology): Dispute I believe I should be unbanned, as well as have my character unpked, reason being, this is a very unique situation, as I may very well be the only person that has this unique circumstance. Back in the time I was still prominently active, when I would visit casinos, I would immediately have people that recognize me instantly grab my character ID and ban me from casinos, very swiftly blocking me off pretty much from gambling under any circumstance, and the character I have here, Rickard Stark, has existed for months. I was given two million dollars to gamble with from a member of the server named Hades, in which I gambled, returned the money he so invested into me, with profit earned from the casino, and there was no item, nor money transfer whatsoever. That said, the way the money earned was completely legitimate, as is the money that is on the character. If logs are checked, this is completely validated, and this character has been in existence for months. Regardless if this appeal is denied or not, I can at least say in terms of Diverge that I'm one of the few people truly punished for being too good at gambling. I've been a long standing member of this community, a long time member, more or less four and a half to five years. It's legitimately annoying to want to enjoy gambling, and not being able to, even though that's literally why they exist. I just wanna gamble man. Gambler's gotta gamble. What server rule or PK rule was violated?: It is considered Meta for Police to attempt to arrest people for talking to black-market/illegal NPCs. Police do not "have knowledge" the NPC buys drugs and it's not a reason to detain or arrest users approaching it. (Camping the NPC). I would argue the same would apply to the hardware store and stolen checks. You can clearly see him camping the NPC. I didnt see this till just now, there have been changes to what classifies low level associates that can just leave. If they're not well in depth with the criminal life style theyre basically free to leave with a few technicalities. the rule says; "If they have left the gang/family without approval from the leader, while holding the position of made man+ (or appropriate equivalent), they may be subject to a PK. Entry level associates who are not made or deeply committed to the organization may leave without harm as their position is low and they know very little. (Security, waiters, doormen, drivers, etc) <You will be asked to provide evidence of rank> This does not apply if they have partaken in felony criminal actions, drug manufacturing/murder/robbery/etc that are directly related to your faction. (However these actions must be verified). Generally under most don's orders."

Reset Progress after new years when it switches to 1980 This adds more interaction to the server, most people don't even get on anymore because they have millions of dollars and 500 bricks. If a wipe happens, it should happen now (after 1989), all characters will be deleted. People who are added to whitelists like cosmetics and cars still keep those, but their money and guns and drugs and shit are GONE. Faction rackets are wiped and given out random, giving newer or smaller factions a better chance. This adds more roleplay to the server and will probably bring more people to the server as well, it's a fun idea and it brings more to the server than just normally resetting back to 1980.

For long-term storage, we are able to get things like lockers, crates, fridges, etc. I suggest it would be nice to add short-term storage items too. For example, a small brown paper bag with one storage slot. It could be used to pass a handgun to someone discreetly. Or a cardboard box that varies in storage depending on the size of the prop. It could be used for shops that have large orders of their product. These items could be sold for cheap at general stores and have a limit of 1 to 3 out at a time per player. Possibly a timer begins somewhere between 10-30 minutes before the item disappears. Just some ideas so that there aren't a bunch of entities around that aren't being used. Anyway, I think this would be quite nice for RP and convience of different scenarios. Thanks.

Hello PK'ing admin here as seen in this Clip you started a violent conflict with police ■ Initiating a shootout or violent confrontation with Police can lead to a PK. (PK Guidelines ) While yes, it is Considered Meta for police to arrest based off of using the black-market/illegal NPCs in this instance when you traded the "Forged Checks" it was at a legal NPC

I thought faction protection is allowed and he was in the house that I help manage once he started opening fire I have reasons to protect whoever I want stated in the rules that if someone doesn't leave which I did tell him to leave and then proceeded to tell the others to get him out which then is on them I didn't know they where going to insiste a mugging that's out of my control i protect the house for destruction of property and my people from danger the best I knew how on little information I had in what was happening And on top of that the server was lagging So how am I to really figure out what's happening with lag as I wasn't the only one lagging And like I stated I never assisted in a mug I never asked for money or pulled out a weapon and I never asked anyone to do it I told them to tell him to leave and give him 3 warnings in a timed manner

What server rule or PK rule was violated? I believe I should be unPK’d because I did not initiate any form of robbery or mugging. At no point did I draw a weapon or claim I was robbing the individual. I was simply leaving the boathouse to lock it up when the individual in question ran inside. I went back in to see what was going on and instructed the others to remove him. However, instead of following this instruction, they drew knives and proceeded to mug him, which is against server rules. As a middle-man in my faction's hierarchy, the faction's rules require that anyone engaging in risky activities, such as mugging, must inform and consult me beforehand. This didn’t happen, and they broke the mugging rules by proceeding without informing me. At no point did I engage in or initiate any hostile actions. I was standing there with no weapon, simply trying to understand the situation. The situation quickly escalated, and the individuals involved were killed, leaving only me and two others alive. The individual in question then killed me, even though I had not provoked or escalated anything—I was merely standing there. The FearRP rules make it clear that a valid reason for FearRP is required when initiating a mugging. Since I did not initiate the mugging, nor was I involved in any hostile actions, I should not have been PK’d. Unfortunately, I do not have video or photo evidence to provide at this time.
