What is your motivation/reason for applying?: *As a dedicated player over the years I've always wanted to know/experience how it is working alongside the staff team, as well as being a moderator, which can give me another perspective on the server than just being a criminal or officer. Another reason I am applying is to stop the rampant amount of metagame and RDM that happens in the city, I see it happen all around when I'm playing and it happens way too often to my liking. When I'm playing around the city it can be repetitive doing the same thing over and over and I'm trying to break the cycle and help the community in the best way I can. As a dedicated player I am tired of the time it takes for a moderator or even admin to take my tickets my goal in joining is to help relieve the burden on the staff team with the amount of volume of tickets being made. On the downtime of the server there are many points where people think it's okay to break rules and with my play schedule, I am able to moderate even at those times. Why should you be considered over other candidates?: As a player, I am a non-biased person and shall keep my personal grievances and opinions out of my moderating duties and judgments on the player base. I have no moderating experience but it's better to have someone learn new than to retrain someone's bad habits like rules/commands from other servers they have previously been in. I am a long-lasting player who is dedicated to this server and my schedule will allow me to have ample time to moderate and keep the rules being applied at all times. As this is the only server I play I have no future plans on leaving to go play on a different shit server which means I can be spending all my free time here helping as much as I can. Someone RDMs and you are currently off-duty. How do you handle this?: If I'm not the one being RDM'd and I'm not involved in any way I would clip it and wait for a ticket to come in. I would accept the ticket and proceed to TP them to the Box, asking them what happened in the situation for more context. and bring the other person who allegedly RDM'd ask for their reasoning and go off by all clips provided to me I would also go off the person's notes to give a proper punishment. After if found guilty I would properly give the person their punishment based on PO's. You have seen a fellow staff member of higher or equal rank than you abusing fairly often, but never doing anything too noticeable. What do you do?: I would clip the conversation/situation and I would report it to a fellow staff member of equal or higher rank to the person abusing providing context/Clips. Does it constitute possible bias?: As a staff member i'd try to keep any form of the bias away from my dutys so I would either ask a fellow staff member to take over/ spectate to insure non-bias. I also want to take off some of the workload from current staff members and get to know them while being staff. As stated in my last application, I am also looking to improve the overall user experience (minges, simple stuck/help tickets, etc.). I also want to learn how to use Nutscript as I’ve never used it before, I also enjoy helping people who are new to Mafia RP or Garrys Mod as a whole. I am also semi-friends with some of the staff members and would enjoy staffing alongside them. I want to be a useful member of this community and staff would be the best way to express that, I've staffed on other servers before and enjoyed it over there but I feel like there are fewer restrictions over here which would make it more enjoyable. I am also attempting to see all perspectives of this server, I am a Lawyer, Police Officer, and criminal and hopefully staff so I have a fair understanding from everyone's standpoint. Why should you be considered over other candidates?: * I think I should be considered just the same as other applicants but I do have previous staff experience on Gmod and when I was staff I was a top ticket taker and was rarely reported and when I was it was nothing major or nothing at all. I am super active as I play the server every day and have 1 month of playtime from only joining the server 3-4 months ago, I've only ever been banned once and have maybe 1-3 notes on my account I also know the rules very well. I am available most of the day so if there are not a lot of staff on I can get on help out and do tickets. Do you have any previous staffing experience? I wouldn't have an idea of how people view me as I am not the type of person to go around asking what their view of me is. How do you handle this?: I would notify the other staff online in @ chat about the incident in case of any MRDM, but in most situations, I wouldn't deal with it personally, unless this player is obviously just going around killing people for no reason. What do you do?: I would let the higher-ups know about the abuse with clips for proof of it. Does it constitute possible bias?: I would deal with the sit as I would normally if they have recent notes about the same thing I would ban them, if they didn't have recent notes or no notes at all I would just give them a note. If I punished him differently (not noting/banning them for example) then if I didn't know him that would be completely biased. I feel like I should be doing more for the server by helping out the community by being a moderator, making sure everyone is enjoying there time on the server. I like helping others and I want to make a better face out of myself by showing that I really care for this community and I will take every opportunity to help someone. I'm online most of the time when most of the staff team isn't and I think with this. I can handle a lot of tickets when the server is up during irregular hours. Pizzle was the first staff member I interacted with and he was absolutely amazing and helpful when he was assisting me. I spend countless hours communicating with players to expand my knowledge while understanding the workings of the server. Surrounding myself with staff members and seeing how they must halt their activities to tend to tickets and players motivates me to assist the players in need in order to ease the work load for current staff. Why should you be considered over other candidates?: I think I should be accepted over other candidates is because I don't stop. I'm always eager to learn something new and help a community that I enjoy being part of. I just want to be part of something bigger and help in anyway that I can to be part of that. I may not know the commands for nutscript and SAM but I will learn along the way when I am accepted. I do have Soldiers underneath me so I do have experience with leading and training under my belt. I will always take every ticket with the upmost respect and professionalism. I am starting to make a lot of friends and I really appreciate the support I have gotten through advice and getting to learn new things. Getting to talk to my friends about IRL issues and being able to take there advice and apply it to real world situations have really helped me. Going around and interacting with everyone has been such an amazing experience for me. The guys that I play with and work with, it's almost like I would consider them as family to me. What do you do?: I would easily report that to someone higher up or someone that I trust within the staff ranks to report that staff member. It's not like he was banned for MRDM or trying to crash the server it was over a discord server that he made and owned. A bit unreasonable to perma ban him for that no? I want to play the server a bit more and I see myself on during the afternoons / mornings when nothing is really going on and not many staff are online so that would give me the opportunity to help out. I want to be further involved within the community and I feel like staff would help me towards that goal since it has before. Depending on the night, tickets could either be answered fast or slow and no one likes to wait a while for their ticket to be taken and the more available staff the better. Hi my name is Fernado some of you may know me. I am making a appeal for my ban. I would first like to say how sorry I am for my actions on diverge whether they effected you or not. Diverge was my first actual "RP SERVER" on gmod as I was new to the game. I really was a low quality player now that I reflect on my past, and now have some Knowledge as I have been roleplaying on other servers. I took advantage of Diverge, and therefore payed the price. All i am asking here is for a second chance. I was a low quality player and didnt care at the time, but I do now. I cannot say I have matured alot in 4 months, but what I can say is that I have reflected on my mistakes. I really didnt know how good I had it on diverge until I was banned; trying to find other servers that were stable and had good pop was difficult. I am now going to explain my ban, and how I should've conducted myself when getting banned. My ban for LTARP was very immature for me to leave over a silly little felony. My jailbreak and exploiting part of my ban was also very immature, as i was mad and didn't care to think about the consequences of my actions. I will now address my NITRP ban. I have looked at what Monaclu said about my first ban appeal, and really took the time to understand what Monaclu said about a low quality player. As deleting my own responses wont help my case im here to take responsibility for my actions. All in all I believe I have reformed myself into a better person, and would like a second chance on Diverge. I can understand if I am not allowed another chance on Diverge as my actions were terrible, but I believe I can provide a good RP experience to the Diverge community if I am allowed a second chance. as a reformed top shotta who used to run with him and will admit in scary situations where we think we may be pl active we will occasionally kill near people who seem like they are following us and cops who as you seen in the clip literally turned around to chase him.
