Map is amazing, most amazing map ever, I will play the next 5 years on this map, vendor system is fine I like exercising my legs, multiple orders, dynamic orders and cooldowns are all fine, doors are fine i like opening doors, Alliance changes are good it's genius, anything else is amazing. What is your motivation/reason for applying?: * I've always wanted to join and help with staffing but i never knew if it was the right time, but now that we are moving to a new server, and im predicting that a lot of things will change and happen, so i feel that i can be a help with making sure people can enjoy the new map and that rules are followed so the server can prospure. I am also never been a real staff member on other servers (besides GM), and i would like to learn and see how to be one myself. Why should you be considered over other candidates?: * Because I have never been staff before as said, I'm basicly a blank canvice that can be drawn into the well standards of staff this server desires. I'm also a quick learner and, always willing to learn from my mistakes and don't let them get me down. Also since its summer vacation and im in the EU I'm more likely to be on early in the morning for the main player base. Do you have any previous staffing experience? (Please list where, what position and how long): Not Staffing but Game Master on an 1up incoming server that died out, It was an MRP server and i used to do event where terrorists would take hostages, take military property and such and such. But otherwise no, i dont have any experience. Have you been banned before on any of our servers? If so, why?: No, I only have a note on RDM and that a few months old i think. Would you say that you are well known in our community, what's your reputation, what do other members think of you?: * If im being honest i have never really thought or asked about what people think of me, but i hope that there is more people who think good of me and less that think im a dumbass. I have contributed in almost everyfaction ive been in, either with making dupes, making it interested with some rp or just helping the faction thive within. When it comes to if people know me its a 50/50, i would imagine that most people either know me from being a jewish dupe builder or a fed. What is your favourite moment on Diverge so far?: There has been a lot but most recently was the PD riot where it basicly was a no risk deathmatch. Have any staff members recommended you? If so, list their names: No :( ------------------------------------------------- Problem Solving Detail step by step exactly the actions you would take. Someone RDMs and you are currently off-duty. How do you handle this?: If I wasnt involved in the RDM situation i would wait until someone makes a ticket about it and then take it. But if i was involved in it i would contact another staff member currently on to deal with its ticket and provide evidence if needed. You have seen a fellow staff member of higher or equal rank than you abusing fairly often, but never doing anything too noticeable. What do you do?: I clip everything i can and provide it to UA and try not to get involved with them. A member of your faction / friend of yours has a ticket made against them accusing them of RDM’ing, and minging. You know that this person rarely does this when you play with him. How do you proceed knowing this? Does it constitute possible bias?: If there was another staff member on i would let him take the ticket and maybe tell him why i cant take it, if im the only staff on i would do my best to not be too biast and go off of what evidence and what logs say and make a logic disicion.

Doesn't stop mass flooding BEFORE the coup is initiated Again, the coup function is not meant to serve the take over of a faction, if the boss is wacked the next in line HC should take his place. That's what most coups end up being. People earn recruit perms or simply lie to staff to recruit people, it's too abusable to FULLY blame it on the boss or don. While they do bear some responsibility about the happenings of their faction they still should not be subject to meta/powergame'd coups from outsides people. A coup is by definition an internal struggle if you are bringing in outside people to fill your coup numbers then thats not a coup! I disagree, and think the fundamental issues this presents out way any current issues that may exist with the rules. I.e. they are fine as is, this is the status quo that's been maintained for more than 3 years.

The only situation where HC would not matter is if they are inactive, then their participation would be disregarded. As it stands, I understand the point you're making about people being friends. However I bring 2 main counter arguments. 1. People could just get a load of their friends to join as low rank factions and then take over as associates / soldiers, which of course doesn't have much RP involved! 2. HC of a faction being tight knit kinda makes sense when you think about it. Coups are rare for a reason generally, only if there is a big loss of confidence in the don and his actions should a coup take place, and I've seen these 'HC good friends' turn on each other in the past. I think your idea, while having some spirit, doesn't consider that coups are not there to take over factions by outside people, as that is meta/powergame'd, but is to whack out a bad don, ergo the need for HC approvals.

Love the new map, for some reason it feels less laggy. Only complaint is that sharp turn in the tunnels, wish it had a curve and a straight line going to connect to the rest of the tunnel and the parking lot.

Since we can't destroy items by hitting/shooting them anymore- everyone just throws shit on the ground. A working garbage bin placed in numerous locations around the map that permanently deletes an item, no matter what it is. You could select as many items that are needed to be trashed with a single "are you sure" prompt before removing them so you're sure of what is being thrown away and so you don't have to do that for each induvial object. Maybe even recycling bins that take certain objects to recycle and gives the player back like $2 for not throwing it into the trash. This could also help with lag too

Well my people as tensions rise and new map comes forward why not take a break and shoot each other for fun? Many may remember the amazing times we had last year in Southside shooting up the Bloods block and doing drive by on the Crips. I think it may be time to rethink on this and bring it back around once again. No comps, No bitching and making sits, On sight shootouts, NonPK mini wars (unless PD bitches kill you that is) all civilians no whitelists needed. Meet a random Crip or Blood and get to gang banging. Im sure if we work this out like the last time everyone will have a blast at shooting random OPPS.

So before the ticket was made for metagame, I seen davis on an alt char say outloud "We got a job to do" and leading someone. The first thing I said was "run or else hes gonna pk you" unseriously and I followed them on my lucchese char to a town house telling the guy who I think was the victim to not go into the building or else hes gonna shoot and murder him. The part that made it sharing info between chars was me seeing him at PD on my cop char and then me saying IC "I witawey just did a PK hit and now im gonna witawey minge in PD". I chose dispute because I did break the rule but I didnt malicously pursue it. I taunted Davis on my cop char because of how open he was about being on a hit and I honestly shouldve just said it in looc but I spoke first and tought about it later. He obviously didnt like it which is why he had someone make the ticket for him since he is currently staff and is unable to make his own tickets. I got rightfully banned for it but a whole month for this is honestly too much. My po's is very extensive and my most recent are metagame po's that come from situations were I name dropped on alt char's but I had no bad intentions or tried to get detectives to pursue him at all. Troughout the time I was on my cop char that day I was dealing with an entirely diffrent situation were I arrested a guy for cleaning a crime scene and completly forgot about him until I was tooken into the sit. As I said a ban was justified because I had been doing this too much but I didnt do anything as severe as metagaming a pk or mugging and neither was it used to get his char in trouble IC, I just want to ask for it to be reduced especially since the new map is out and I definetly will cleaning up how I act about shit talking and either not say it at all or use ooc.
