You wanted to leave the commission, you think Olympus has low levels of maturity, you've been put on record to shit on people in game through advertisements and it's clear you don't seem to understand the history of the server that everyone in this thread seems to be on board with except for you. At what point do you look in the mirror and say 'hey.. maybe I'm the one who's wrong?!' I said it before but just give the app a -1 and say you don't like the faction if you feel that way, doesn't need to be so damn complicated that you get into a multi-day argument and frankly make a lot more people on the server dislike you in the process. I've been thinking a lot recently about the current climate in Diverge. It's getting kind of old using the same boring forum layout. We should switch it up, I think it would boost forum activity and provide players with a fresh website experience.

+1 I might be biased on this topic as I am a part of it... but I still want to state my opinion. I was in the old EMS faction before it was disbanded. I understand the fears of Fox and Canadian Bacon on this one, inactivity is a big problem, especially on legal factions based on RP alone. But I think that it is important to look at the ENTRE picture here... In my opinion, there are more positive effects of implementing this faction than negative ones. Firstly, lots of Criminal Factions that are more involved in serious passive RP have already shown interest in the comeback of the EMS faction as a whole. The private company we currently operate is already involved with multiple other businesses, we do medical operations, move around the city in our ambulances, and make appointments with individuals interested in getting more than just a medkit after a shootout. Secondly, someone got the financial aspect argument out, that is a very good point to bring up. It's important to note that everyone in the company at the moment doesn't work for the money. All of them know that the pay is little to nothing. These people are, for the vast majority, just players who miss the old Serious Roleplay that came with EMS. This is why I am personally into this project. I want to bring back this lost roleplay. Current members are passionate and often veterans of the server. We just want to get Medical and Legal RP a serious option to look at when coming in the server. Thirdly, we don't want to impose our ways. People will still be able to simply get a medkit at the NPC and go on their way. This faction, as stated earlier, would probably work with factions wanting more passive roleplay and with the government. If you don't want to be a part of the medical RP, you don't need to. It's solely based on a voluntary basis. Lots of people want that, I don't see why we could not give it to them. Lastly, someone asked me why we should be in a faction and not only stay as a private company. It's relatively simple... We want to own and operate a building. We want to get the Ambulance as a faction vehicle, show current investors the real work done and, of course, get a better structure and organization done. I think it would be a nice addition. We are active and just want to give more options to people. Thanks : )

Actually the Genovese was a Cassano faction reskin. You're either new or never decided to pay attention to the tab menu during the Federation days.

What people need to realize is that even people who won't be allies in the game can create great roleplay as people on opposing sides. With the Cassanos healthy on the other side, I'm damned sure we'll have a ball making roleplay in a healthy way on the server. Shake hands and be nice OOC, have great opposing RP IC. Having seen this argument on my own faction app, this is an idiotic notion and a bad argument. If people have the passion to run a faction for a while, there is no harm in allowing them to bring it on. The Cassanos have clearly proven they not only have numbers but a passion for this server as well. Why wouldn't you want this kind of activity in the game, even if it was for a smattering of months before they get 'bored'? It's just a point made in bad faith. If you don't like the faction, just say that instead of trying to give a run around of your real point through a vague nothing-burger of a -1.

I love how a cop gets my ID and then a year later of not playing or ever interacting with them, they can see who I am and remember me. Makes no sense. You forgot a lot throughout life, it makes no sense that a cop who arrested me for a misdemeanor can remember me when they’ve had other experiences

+1 If you have lots of players and an interesting enough job ("legal racket") then sure a player-run faction makes the most sense. But if the income is low compared to everything else (Speedy Delivery level income) and if the job is only meant for new players to get some money to start off with, then I think it should be an NPC job.
