Idk how it'd script but it could also work as a task for city workers to complete after X time has passed There is always a hilarious amount of blood splatter left around for days on end I swear, lol

Often I am finding that there are PKs and shootouts in the city and the police fail to clean up the crime scene. There will be blood spatter and chalk outlines leftover in the city for days. I have heard people joke about this but this is actually not a bad idea. What if the city government contracted out clean up crews from local businesses around town? The local business is hired to go and clean up the scenes around the city to keep the streets clean, and in return they are compensated.

Typewriter addition to create signable papersLucid Mangos replied to Lucid Mangos's topic in Suggestions This would work as well, I love these ideas. Itd be like mad libs for legal contracts. You fill in parts of the contract and it works it into a template contract. I agree with the last statement, I love in game rp. Going through the process of making a contract just for a /me reads over, /me signs. I feel this will help make contract signing, meetings where such could happen makes reading fine print more important, and immersive.

Not sure if anyone has had this issue yet, and I realize that the attachments are still quite new. But twice today ( one after map change, and one after my game crashing) I have reentered the city to find my attachments missing from my gun. Nothing in my inventory, no options with my gun. Nothing.

MAN PLS +1 PLS BIGGEST PLUS 1 EVER. Deadass pendred a PvP server would be so fun to play. Doesn’t need to be for testing gun builds. Would be fine using any random guns like every time you die you spawn in with something new and every time u kill someone u get points and with points u can buy better guns

Removal of the comp command, and harsher punishments for RDMdavid replied to adam's topic in Suggestions This suggestion missed, massively. Comps should be in place for staff discretion whether that be RDM, VDM etc. The whole argument of it meaning you wont have a weapon equipped at all times will just not be the case, those who have stockpiles wont care and some will just equip whenever any form of hostility is directed towards them. In addition, the new playerbase is just going to be shafted as a result of this, dude with 50k to his name gets RDM'd three times? Too bad, no more guns for you or money or fun or anything. Removing a staff command will not fix shit roleplay.

Removal of the comp command, and harsher punishments for RDM4Lights replied to adam's topic in Suggestions There are too many people who come to just 'fuck around'. Getting rid of it is counter-productive and will cause a great deal of upset players, I'd be upset if I got rdmed and was told no comp. People would claim bias, make staff reports and discord tickets and become a tedious rage farm. Getting rid isn't going to help rp. It'd promote negative behavior from a subset of the gmod population, 'i RDMed that guy with a class 4 dude! i killed 5 people with guns with my knife!', are we forgetting the most popular gmod videos are troll videos.. Guns are tied to players direct time, the time it took to get said item. For a new player this can be much greater, thus punishing new players exorbitantly and promoting bad play. There are many times a legitimate compensation should be in order, there are many times in low population time. People get RDMed, people don't get comped, or god forbid someone doesn't have medal running the background. The command has provisions, if someone gets a gun, its not a new gun. It's a gun they PREVIOUSLY had and it goes through a staff review process to deem if it's legitimate. It's not adding anything that wasn't there. In the few times it's used where it shouldn't be, it's either a mistake, staff abuse, or a common sense sympathy compensation. ( again not adding anything that wasn't there before. ) Further, the compensation command only compensates 1 random item, can't be spammed and can still lead to a net loss. What is best for players? Letting people lose their hard earned guns and their time, because rp? They needed to be MORE careful?! It's better for the economy this way? People would rightfully be pissed, feel cheated and it'd turn off a lot of people. -1

Removal of the comp command, and harsher punishments for RDMMmmm_Cookies replied to adam's topic in Suggestions the thing is that like nobody cares, most people will just claim a ticket and comp immediately, and seniors and supers cant be on to monitor sits all the time (making sure they arent abusing this command) so it just goes unchecked/unnoticed

Removal of the comp command, and harsher punishments for RDMSneak replied to adam's topic in Suggestions "Fuck the playerbase who actually gets RDM'd" Why the fuck would you remove a command to give someone back their shit they lost. Just make a better staff guide on using the tool
