Hello all, With the new addition of Drug Market Fluctuating Values, i believe we need a new form of storage, especially for those smart enough (Or dumb enough) to hold out until it's a better price. And as of such I'd like to introduce the concept of the "Sealed Case" Aka Drug Case. As can be seen above, The Sealed Case would hold 10 Baggies, and when opening it / using it there should be a /me in the chat, such as. /me (Name) Opens the sealed container. These Sealed Cases should be Felony Items therefore if an officer see's someone opening it they may move to make an arrest etc.

That’s not even the point I was making though I’m NOT saying “the server has crime RP so ERP should automatically be allowed” you completely missed the argument What I’m saying is the server already allows mature STORYTELLING and relationship-focused RP in general so acting like EVERY form of private ERP is instantly unacceptable no matter the context feels inconsistent There’s a MASSIVE difference between: weird public ERP involving minors harassing random players making people uncomfortable in public chat and: two consenting adults privately roleplaying relationship/intimate scenes Those are NOT the same thing at all Nobody is arguing for public degeneracy Nobody is asking for OOC chat to become NSFW twitter The original suggestion LITERALLY said: keep it private both people must consent don’t involve random players don’t spam it publicly staff can intervene if it becomes disruptive That is a COMPLETELY different conversation from: “let minors ERP freely” which NOBODY was advocating for And realistically this type of RP already exists in basically every relationship-heavy RP community whether people openly admit it or not Characters already: flirt date get married have affairs do romance arcs own strip clubs have emotionally intimate scenes So people are basically arguing over WHERE the line gets drawn not whether romance exists at all My point was the line should probably be: “keep it private and consensual” instead of: “absolutely forbidden under every circumstance even in private between consenting adults” And honestly pretending it NEVER happens is just unrealistic Most communities already handle this stuff through moderation standards instead of total bans: no minors no public ERP no harassment no weird behavior toward random players punish people who cross boundaries That makes WAY more sense than acting like two adults privately doing relationship RP somehow destroys the integrity of the server You can disagree with allowing ERP and that’s completely fair but acting like my argument was: “crime exists therefore sex RP should exist ” is just intentionally oversimplifying what I said

I had to take some time to gather myself before I could post on this topic since it's something I'm rather emotional about... This really hits close to home for me for a few reasons, mainly due to being in a faction that owns a club, and we can't throw ass shaking diddy parties. As restricting as it is being forced to RP on Garry's mod, and not being able to live my larp truth IRL (my larpself) it's really triggering that you can't express your body (in my hoes case, her body) in a way that you want to. With such a progressive server owner and community manager, I really hope we can usher in a new age of roleplay that allows us to be our true self.
