There was no powergame by police here, no grand conspiracy or staff shenanigans, you simply squatted in a property you could not own. Cops investigated it as it was still seized, found you, you opened fire immediately and died. If it was a clientside, because you had 700 pings or whatever this is still a PK, we don't unpk for clientside issues. Further, the images you submitted to try to claim it was a clientside issue were very clearly edited and you could not provide solid evidence besides the single altered freezeframe. You also tried to pass off a picture of Townhouse 3 that you only purchased after dying, as the one you died from. ( You died at Townhouse 4 ). Your appeal has been reviewed and denied. Hi, so to elaborate more on both the map and the mugging scenario you're referring too: Yes, the bush there is intended as a red zone. It is a high-risk mugging spot. The issues with the mug in question lies more in the seclusion of the mug. As DutchCat had stated, the mugging was not secluded. Initiating in a yellow zone is within the rules, but not with witnesses present. The mug was initiated with 2 bystanders in Line of Sight (LOS) and assumedly both La Trattoria and La Volpe open and operating as businesses. Before tying is even completed, there are now 2 more bystanders - in this instance 2 police officers. Upon completing the tie, there is now an additional bystander. Overall there are 5 witnesses in clear LOS at the bare minimum. To pull some rules for you - 2. You may not mug in a public place, you can, however, pull a weapon on them and bring them to a secluded area to rob them (This can only be done when there is no one else around. 6. The goal of this image is to help reduce fail mugs. It is a good guideline to follow, all rules listed in this section will supersede the map and staff have the final say regarding what is or isn't fail mug in a sit. That is to say that the seclusion rule (2.) supersedes the map's designation of the bush as a redzone, in this case. And from the map itself - Hopefully this works to clear up any confusion around both the outcome of the appeal, and the designation of the location as a redzone. You may attack Officers if they attempt to Arrest/Detain you or a member of your group, knowing that an arrest or detainment would lead to a FELONY charge (Having illegal guns/drugs/etc.) You are PK active after shooting/killing an officer. -What is considered an attempt to arrest / detain you: Attempting to handcuff you Verbally telling you, you are being detained / arrested ("You are being detained", "You are under arrest") Firing their tazer at you Pointing their gun at you and ordering you to surrender/stop moving/get down/turn around. (Fear RP basically) (Telling you to LEAVE is not an arrest/detainment) Asking you for ID / Licenses is NOT a detainment / arrest; nor is simply questioning you, giving you a lawful order or threatening to arrest you. ("Leave or you will be arrested") (etc.) 15. In the same vein there are still times when you can't shoot police and it would be considered RDM. You may not KOS Police for no reason. They must be specifically targeting you or a faction member for arrest/takedown. You may not kill Officers for simply pulling you over or writing you a traffic citation. You may not kill Officers for giving you a lawful order. (Leave the area, put that away, Identify yourself, etc) What I mentioned above is Rule 16/15 of the Killing Rules. The officer couldn't be killed at that point because he was only asking you for your ID. Asking for ID by itself isn't a detainment or arrest under the rule. He was trying to identify you, nothing more at that point. If he had asked you to take off the protective equipment and then said you'd be arrested if you refused, that's where things would be different. At that point, you could either comply with him or try to get out of the arrest by taking the officer out. The order of events should've been pretty simple: Officer asks for ID → You give your ID → Officer sees you're a felon → Officer warns you about the protective equipment and threatens arrest → You either comply or try to escape the arrest. You can't really skip straight from being asked for ID to treating it as an active arrest/detainment. Rule 16/15 only comes into play once the officer actually attempts to arrest or detain you. As for the 24-hour ban, you've already had two previous POs from other Staff Members. This is your first actual ban, so I didn't think a long ban was necessary, but with the previous POs in mind. Because of that, I felt 24 hours was the fair middle ground for the situation.
