In the middle of a gunfight?

/looc Is there for a reason people need to utilize it.

Hi, I'm one of the officers you shot. An arrest being made on you unlawfully (As in my clip; Do not arrest him we do not have probable cause.) is an IC issue! You should've made an IA report instead of shooting a cop! Me fumbling with my keyboard "*@ VCWP Pk*" and my superior officer telling me to clip it for a ticket, Doesn't invalidate the PK due to it being training for a new probie (Alfredo explained that I'd need it for a ticket), and a typo in my haste to make a (my very first) coroner's ticket! I had just got out of a gunfight with you and was rushing to make the ticket. I utilized reasonable force after you engaged me with your PM9 as in the clip, and you were PKed on the grounds of VCWP (Violent Confrontation With Police), because you hospitalized a police officer with a firearm, you then got gunned down by the other five officers, causing your death and subsequent PK. TLDR: You were actively involved in a VCWP and lost. Neither of these were OOC in nature, as stated in PK rules "Initiating a shootout or violent confrontation with Police can lead to a PK. Killing or attacking an Officer after initiating a violent confrontation leaves you PK active from officers for about 15 minutes. Generally we want people to not immediately go for the gun when dealing with Police, as a result if you escalate a situation to a shootout and lose you can be punished via PK as your character was killed. This does not apply if it is the Police that fired first or escalated to a shootout." Both clips utilized in this situation provided. You seemed to "Not care" about the PK, but have gone to the lengths of appealing and getting salty OOC! :C Best of luck on your appeal friend!~ [LOOC] Fagurt "Pantyhose" Wopkilar: https://medal.tv/games/garrys-mod/clips/neKSUtiNRQEJ5-si0?invite=cr-MSxIa24sMTQ1MDkzODgy (Deleted, Shows him engaging PD with his PM9 after an officer tells him to "Stop moving, and that he's being detained") [LOOC] Probationary Officer Erik Henderson: https://medal.tv/games/garrys-mod/clips/neK6FfzD0JOC00ug_?invite=cr-MSxjWW8sMjUwMzU5MTAz

Hi there, As we discussed during the sit, you being a bystander during the situation and being detained / arrested was not RDA and could have been played out IC. If you felt this arrest was unjust then you should have let the RP play out as you most likely would have been released. But as you stated you retaliated by opening fire, which then ultimately led to you dying and the character being PKd. If you notice or feel like cops are randomly arresting people during your session of playing, your first point of call should be making a staff ticket, not using it as leverage when it may benefit you in a situation involving staff. By doing this it eliminates the problem before it turns into a bigger issue. In regard to the similar situation you reference, every situation is contextual. The officer saying "@ VCWP pk" in chat was clearly them trying to create a staff ticket, and the other officer saying "clip that" is irrelevant and does not invalidate the PK. In my eyes neither of these acts where an exaggerated or malicious break of character, nor did it affect the RP situation. Best of luck with this appeal!

Name of Character: Fagurt "Pantyhose" Wopkilar Character ID: 203841 SteamID: STEAM_0:1:55215430 Your Discord ID#: 2222sushi Date of PK: 08/02/2026 Reason for PK: Gunfight with cops. Why should you be unPK'd? What server rule or PK rule was violated?: The circumstances don't seem fair here as I was a bystander. To me what happened seemed like RDA multiple instances happened that night of stove bombing and police were running around the city detaining anyone with no cause looking for stoves. In the clip after I was shot Character was broken, one office said "CLIP THAT!" and a Probationary said "PK" in text chat. I understand I choose to retaliate and died, that gun was all I had to loss so no harm no foul however I'm concerned about fairness. I've had a similar situation back in Diamond Sydicate when a motel lock picker was shot and the PK was denied due to someone saying "that's a PK" I feel like anyone can just break character now and people will be picky choosy in the moment. Thank you. If possible please provide video evidence or photo evidence if PK does not follow the guidelines: https://medal.tv/games/garrys-mod/clips/neKUVmO9x6KHLBWru?invite=cr-MSxOQWssMTQ1MDkzODgy

Good afternoon, sir. It is great to see your ban appeal, though I do have some unfortunate news as a professional Larpologist. I am not sure what you are hoping for in terms of quality, but the Fritz Perfect Server Impossibility Principle states that a gmod server can have very good roleplay or a very high population, not both at the same time, and that this is due to fundamental player dynamics like the law of minge toleration, and high-playerbase maintenance theory, which makes the cost of maintaining high populations on gmod servers exponentially higher, but we won't get too into that stuff today. What's important to know is the equation itself: σ · Ψ < κₙ Where σ = Average Peak Player Count and Ψ = Roleplay quality on a scale of 1-10 The constant is defined as the Fritz Capacity Constant (κₙ), equal to 512, an experimentally determined upper bound on the total social coherence a Garry's Mod server can sustain. It is treated as invariant across roleplay gamemodes. As the population increases, the maximum possible roleplay quality decreases inversely. The constant 512 shows that a full 128 player server, such as Diverge Networks, can sustain, at most, a roleplay quality asymptote to 4: lim σ ÷ 512 = 4 σ->128 The principal also predicts: Since RP quality is capped at 10, the limit of player in a server with perfect roleplay is also defined. σ < 512 / 10 = 51.2 I will take my Honorary Ph.D from Pendred now

1. These mean nothing. This is a front someone is putting on to try and keep relations/whatever other purposes. It also doesn't negate my point which was you retired because you lost a position. You swear vows/oaths to commit yourself to the Don and his family. If you ask me, I do not believe retiring because you lost a position demonstrates that. 2. There were numerous other small things that contributed, including but not limited to how you spoke to Faction members and dressed. The security vest was ridiculous looking and is not professional. Recall when you were asked to take it off. I did not want to air this out, but we have also had more than one person reach out about how you've made them feel uncomfortable, especially women. Pet names over the radio in front of other faction members left female associates feeling uncomfortable and inclined to mention it to HC. This is unbecoming of someone in a high-ranking position that you had. We can chalk this up to a language barrier, but the effects on the faction persist. You keep mentioning things that have occurred years ago. I cannot and will not speak on them, but please note that it is consistent behavior and errors that have led to this. From what has taken place in the last few months, this was coming (as you said yourself). Regardless, you've lived the life and now this path has been ended. This is the risk when you join a criminal faction. I truly wish you success and long-term stability with whatever route you choose to take next. Much love and good luck on your appeal.

Hello, You seem to come to terms when it came to the PK of your own character, there is insufficient evidence that was either withheld of simply not provided to us for there to be much of a case when it came to "hacking." Watching this from the POV of the PK'er it seems fine. Your appeal has been reviewed and denied. We have determined this PK to be reasonable and/or justified. You may not re-appeal this PK.

Hello, We've noticed that you did not touch the racket or had any involvement that led you to knowing the "illegal" side of the faciton, at most this should've just been an unwhitelist. Your appeal has been reviewed and accepted. Your character has been reinstated and can be used again. -
Whilst some of the stuff you've mentioned was fixed with previous command before they were hc but thanks anyways for the input.

Hey Grizzly! As someone involved in the PK and a significant contributor (as you said, an "ass-kicker"), I wanted to offer some further insight and clear a few things up. Firstly, the decision to have you as Head Enforcer was a large topic of debate from the very beginning for a variety of reasons, most notably how you retired the second the Enforcer role was temporarily no longer being used by the Family. That is not a display of unwavering loyalty and dedication to the Family, which is something that is essential for those within the Family, especially a Head Enforcer. You also heavily implied that a coup was forming against Austin during one of the Family's most turbulent periods while we were sorting through HC members and leadership changes. This only added to the immense distrust within the Family and contributed to the continued loss of activity and trust between members. Secondly, the family name situation was egregious. This is something that would cost a lot of people their lives, and I truthfully believe that a $750,000 fine was more than reasonable for something of that severity. Thirdly, our communication as Capo and Enforcer. Communication has never been your strong point, and I do believe that is partially due to the language barrier. While that is not necessarily something with a quick fix, it has hindered the relationship between yourself and others in the faction and has had a direct effect on my crew. There have been multiple occasions where you mistakenly pulled people (including myself) into "meetings" with Company Security as a scare tactic over things that were simply not accurate. Whether or not you received a list of people who supposedly had not paid kickups, it was your responsibility to verify that information. A high-ranking Enforcer should do their due diligence before confronting people, especially when the information was readily available to you. I would never make a lasting impact on someone or take action against them without first weighing the consequences and confirming that a violation had actually occurred. You almost drove both myself and Anna (at the time, the two highest contributors and, frankly, two of the four people keeping the faction running) away, which would have had dire consequences had Austin not stepped in and resolved the situation promptly. Lastly, I noticed you were using screenshots of our discussion about moving people to Enforcer as evidence that you were still useful to the Family and to support overturning the PK. Frankly, you were not calling those shots. Those were two people who had already been hand-selected by myself and other members of command. You asked me who you could move, and I gave you an answer because you had little information or experience with them on the server. I have been working to improve the enforcer role within our Family, and have established with other command members expectations for that role. We now have a successful security team because of these efforts, and you did not play a part in that. As Head Enforcer, this is something that you should have been doing. You ultimately made your own position redundant, and because of that, the decision was made to PK you. With your tenure, your position, and your previous "schizophrenic" episodes that caused command to question your reliability and judgment, it was simply too much of a risk to demote or retire you. You held one of the highest positions within the Family, had knowledge that could heavily implicate us, and once command determined that you were no longer an asset to the organization, the decision was made to PK you. Despite all of this, I appreciated my time in the faction with you and consider you a close friend. I genuinely wish it hadn't ended this way, but at the end of the day, this is just a function of the game, and ultimately, it's Mafia Roleplay. You went out honorably, and I think you should reflect on your time here with gratitude for the experiences you had and the friends you made along the way. Best of luck moving forward. I'll always be a supporter.
