Reason for appeal (dispute/apology):  

I’m making this appeal regarding my permanent ban. I was originally banned for 4 days for leaving a roleplay situation to avoid RP. I understand why I was punished for that and I’m not trying to dispute the original ban. Looking back, I should have stayed in the situation and dealt with the RP instead of leaving. That was my mistake, and I apologize for it. The reason I ended up permanently banned was because, while I was serving that 4 day ban, my roommate was also playing on the server from the same dorm as me. Since we were sharing the same internet connection, I understand why the console may have flagged the accounts as ban evasion or an attempt to bypass my ban. However, I was not the person playing on the other account, and I was not attempting to bypass my punishment. We were simply in the same dorm room and using the same network. I understand that this probably looks suspicious from the server's perspective, but I wanted to clarify what actually happened. I take responsibility for the original rule break and understand that I deserved the temporary punishment I received. What I’m asking staff to reconsider is the permanent ban that resulted from the other account being detected on the same connection.

Why should you be unbanned? - 

I enjoy playing Diverge and would genuinely appreciate another chance to play on the server. If the permanent ban could be reduced back to the original punishment, or replaced with another temporary punishment that staff feels is appropriate, I would accept that. I apologize for the original RP avoidance and understand that if I’m allowed back, I need to follow the rules and handle situations properly instead of trying to leave them.
