Increased or new legal jobs

I feel as if the legal side to this server is very slim. Obviously this is a mafia server so being a criminal is everyones goal but, I think adding new legal jobs for new players would be a great addition. Maybe even add more to the already existing legal jobs, add earnable promotions in the company. I just feel like with a well established legal side in the server it would also add more to the criminal side. Extorion, bribes, etc. It could also add more to alt chars. You'd be able to hop on an alt and take a break from grinding bricks, standing around, running a shop front.

To add incentives for this type of, do things like take away certain luxuries from illegitimate/front businesses like car repairs and give it to civilian companies to force criminals to go to legal businesses to get their car fixed, or take away the detailing/customization ability from the car dealership and make it a player-based feature where a car shop would apply tints, repaint the car or turbo tune it.

Non-essential aspects of RP that are still useful should go to civilian/non-front businesses and factions to stimulate RP. Would be cool to see how they interact!

While i advocate for more legal (and just shit to do in general) for diverge (because criminals are only criminals if theres citizens not committing crimes), rockefeller and BNS are prime examples of why shit like that doesn't work and likely won't be added by the big pen or canadian. I def agree with everything you said my main point was aimed towards new players and to add onto things the criminals can do. But you do make a very fair point and Im in nothing but agreeance.

This. Only way to add proper legal businesses that people will want to get involved in would be if the legal side made an insanely bigger amount of money than Crims. Nobody wants to be a civ and have a business just to be hassled out of their money, that's not fun for anyone. The only way I see something like that happening is if the Crims also "need" the Civs, the main idea of that is to privatize already existing businesses that everyone uses aka a health insurance business for the hospital, restaurants having to outsource their ingredients from a civ business, shipping businesses that bring in whatever conspicuous shipments people order in etc. But that would be quite a big change of pace and a big undertaking for the devs.

Every business being owned by a criminal faction doesn't necessarily make sense to me but it's mafia rp, not cityrp, Cool ideas but doubtfully added.
