Prison/Jail Total Revamp

So I'm Going Straight into the Point and I'm sorry prior to my spelling i have dyslexia  Obvious  you don't want Jailbreaks in the game but, I think you should add a full Process to Getting sent to Jail. first a longer stay. new people will avoid getting arrested if being arrested means you got no money in jail with experienced mafia and mob leaders for days not a little bit a long time. Second  A new building to hold the inmates, have the cells in the police station as holding (also more realistic). Add a  security convoy and a bus for transport (makes even extraction possible jus maybe?)  and a small team of people to control the prison Separate from the police. available for bribes and smuggling(possibly) so that a experience can be had n prison to talk about on the outside. the prison needs things to do to keep NEW players on like small things like different cell sizes and patterns (maybe even stash slots) for different prices to enjoy your stay in prison. make a kitchen where gruel can be made and sold for 2 dollars, have different sectors so that there could be the small crime sector to the straight killers and Fugitives held in lockdown never to see light again. Add n additional hidden sector for  fighting pits rich mafia members and corrupt cops alike to go and watch pay good money. And a riot system which if handled properly could give payout to the prisoners in the case that they hold hostages and convince the cops outside the prison. that's like the main deal i wanted to talk about but smaller minor changes like adding chess boards a call room for security to take them to get the one call. A visitation center for the quick handy under the table. and a outside fenced in area for the prisoners to talk and smoke as well as small food stands completely secured n regulated on the occasion

Cool idea in theory until you realize how much this will get metagamed and abused. Legitimately cool thought with depth but Diverge can't have cool shit bc people will NOT be able to go without metagaming it.

i do understand that. it sucks and maybe with this post someone will have a idea that's good and cant be abused i see this thread as a way to build off others fallen ideas just also to shed light on the parts of the rp that kills the new player base which is the prison why would you want to make a new character if you spent the past 7 hours on the one you are on currently i say how it is now  its not a bad way to separate trolls from actual role players but if this was done trolls would troll for 3 hours then realize they cant troll shit in a max cell with no one to talk to on that acc no more why just make a new account for it to jus happen again it could also be a good deterrent throw in some good rules and regulations from a actual mod or owner and i think its not to much to add and could be good. for players

I also wish that there was more RP when it came to arrests and being sentenced.
I agree that sentences should be longer, like a year could equal 3 minutes or more. It would increase the incentive to not get caught doing criminal acts and give incarceration more weight.
Also would keep people who cop bait and get arrested for fun at a minimum or just keep them in longer, which decreases run-ins with the same retarded minge characters. 

If you go through the PD discord mugshot channels, 80% of the mugshots are minge characters with wild ass names. 

Also it would be fun if your char got a life sentence, you could continue to play them within the prison system. Could add interesting dynamics in factions. For example, a Don could catch a life sentence but continue to lead their faction from prison while they are appealing their conviction through the courts. 
 

Miami had good prison RP, it needs a return.

I love this idea, MafiaRP should have incarceration roleplay, you always hear in the media produced about the Mob those lines of people "taking the fall for the family" and "doing the time to come out to a reward".

Keep in mind, i hate the state of policeRP on the server but something like this would actually give policeRP and legalRP so much more meaning instead of "heh character PKed make a new one".
