Long Answer

What is your motivation/reason for applying?:*

Due to my timezone, I'm usually on at times when there are either no staff on or a single staff member on, it's usually at this time when there is a backlog of tickets waiting to be resolved. I'd be willing to help resolve the problems that arise when the NA playerbase is offline. I also think my prior knowledge of Diverge from 2021 and previous staff experience in other servers both in GMod and other games can help bring the server to a even higher standard.

Why should you be considered over other candidates?:*

Every person has their own strengths and weaknesses, I personally believe I am suited for support roles, I'm patient, forthcoming and professional, but I also don't forget that at the end of the day it is a roleplay server in a videogame. I believe this is something most people don't/can't realize.

Would you say that you are well known in our community, what's your reputation, what do other members think of you?:*

I am a returning player from 2021, most of the people who knew me back in the day is either retired or has forgotten since it's been close to 5 years. I'm slowly getting adapted to the new people and the new dynamic of the server, I would say I'm not "hated" but not the most known person on the server.

What is your favourite moment on Diverge so far?:

I usually enjoy the events such as the shootout that happened in construction, the fishing event with the forklift prize. I enjoy the atmosphere and the community of Diverge.

Problem Solving

Detail step by step exactly the actions you would take.

Someone RDMs and you are currently off-duty. How do you handle this?:

I'd first check how many non-AFK staff are online, if there are none online or if everyone is AFK, I would switch to my staff character and start taking the piled up tickets including the RDM one (if I'm not one of the parties involved).

You have seen a fellow staff member of higher or equal rank than you abusing fairly often, but never doing anything too noticeable. What do you do?:

I would clip it as much as I could before opening a ticket to UA, once sufficent evidence is collected I would present all the evidence to UA in a ticket.

A member of your faction / friend of yours has a ticket made against them accusing them of RDM’ing, and minging. You know that this person rarely does this when you play with him. How do you proceed knowing this? Does it constitute possible bias?:

I would take the ticket, I would listen to both sides for their explanations and examine the presented evidence. If any punishment were to be given, I would hand it out to each party guilty regardless if they are in my faction or are my friend.

Only problem is that your kind of new to Diverge a week is really good but if your returning I would suggest more time, Also low rank in the forums...

 but being on a different time zone is a good thing and amazing staff experience I don't think you will get accepted but could be a good staff

Thank you for your constructive feedback, yes I might not have months of playtime but I think that I'm an adaptable person and I'll be able to adapt to the team fairly quickly.

When I first met him to be honest I wasn't sure how I felt about him. He can seem to be abrasive and pushy but it is realized to be with good intentions and only trying to be the most helpful he can be. 

 

He is a respectful person and understands the systems and has an attitude that is willing to learn. 

 

I do not see how his roleplay as a cop should affect his ability to staff the server. Yes his cop is a dick. Who cares? Is logic just rping himself? The answer is yes he's a whiney bitch.

I have no bad interactions with this player. He seems to have a lot of time spent on the server, the answers to the situational questions seem more than reasonable. I can understand that he is not liked because of his Internal Affairs police job, but that seems to be part of his roleplay.
