yknow what… with all the perma bans diverge is giving out, it is quite life changing for those getting banned as its always teaching most of them a lot life changing/very important lessons.. How altruistic. also waiting on @anzati1 to perform the ‘was it written with AI’ check.. hope you pass it man.

When was the last time your char /me showered?

Does swimming in the lake count? -
No, you're absolutely right - metagaming is an inherent issue that cannot really be fixed and relies on an honour system which is often abused. And by me saying "if there's a way around it without removing it" - removing faction name and number count I think would be the main thing and I agree to it; but the new tab replacement should have to be well designed but how is the question lol cos it'l just be a huge mess of like 115 players all under one tab (except cops) - but... thinking about it, playing the game with a "fog of war" type thing (no tab menu) might be interesting and more immersive.

im ngl i thought of suggesting something like this and i'd +1 it only if there was an appropriate solution... Out right removal? I'd disagree.. Perhaps it's as simple as removing the number "of players in that faction thats next to each factions name (except civs?). In the end.. if the concern is "once someone has your name and they can see which faction you're in" - i dont think that's too much of an issue because: 1. they cannot do anything ICly cos metagame. 2. Leads you to be more attentive and cautious with whom you give your name out to. 3. Adds to the consequences of your actions taken in the long run (friends today but enemies tomorrow or vice verca) if there's a way around it without removing it, would be more ideal. In the end people could always use the bot or console to check who is online, speculate which character they're on and make assumptions.

Name of Character: Howie Hoang Character ID: dont remember SteamID: STEAM_0:0:90789839 Your Discord ID#: rufie. Date of PK: 1.1.26 Reason for PK: cop death - I was offline at time of PK but spoke with PKing admin over discord. Why should you be unPK'd? What server rule or PK rule was violated?: So essentially from my perspective, I was firing a warning shot at a guy from hardware rooftop - and by warning shot a leg breaker at Derek Caputo. After the shot everyone started running towards hardware including two cops (larry and the PKing probie). It seems I missed acccording to a lad with me iron sights suck (but skill issue is the real cause ;-;) The probie then gunned me down immediately with no dialogue whilst I was just about to have a dialogue with senior officer larry and derek who was coming up to rooftop to be the negotiator [for some reason HAHA] (the probie asked larry "can i shoot him" and then just shot me without any confirmation by larry. When he said "can i shoothim" Immediately i was hovering over the gun incase he did whilst i was hugging the wall to hide the g3 gun on my back). I was trying to get out of it by complying and talk my way out of it (as in my head I thought they're detaining me and the guys on the rooftop but larry was talking about jumping off the roof top so was like oo chance to escape and they werent aware of the case). But the probie immediately gunned me down and then PKd me after I logged off later on. I gave him the benefit of the doubt cos he was new and its new years so didnt report him for RDM, but when offline the Pking admin (Moon) messaged and we briefly talked about the case - she made me aware the shot hit the probie instead accidentally. Which I wasnt too aware cos i wasnt aiming at him and waited to isolate the guy, hence surprised I was Pkd (and definite cross fire) the gun mustve had wacky recoil for it to hit him. Nor was I an active threat whatsoever and being fully compliant, I was NOT targetting the cop etc. But even if it was the case there were a couple other people with me on rooftop so how did he know it was me ;-; point being it was quite the cross fire and insta gunned me down and coincidentally turned out I was the one who got him in the crossfire out of 2/3 people. Twas crossfire Moon said that on the logs it looks valid which i understand but tryna an appeal in case i can get my char back given the wacky circumstance. If possible please provide video evidence or photo evidence if PK does not follow the guidelines: I managed to get a clip but sadly only managed to salvage just after the shot being fired cos i clipped it far too late it seems like..

Side point: What if you made it slightly less lazy and slightly more engaging. Perhaps by having the normal 5 min processing time changed to like 7min but also introducing ability to play little mini games on the processor (mixing, cutting, sorting, adding chemicals, cleaning etc whatever) - with limits for each processor and a variety of games with different difficulties/time limits would be key. if completed properly and quickly, this can speed up the completion time or if failed add slightly more time for processing completion by the same amount above? (time lost > time gained to balance the increased base processing time) completely optional to do, risky yet potentially rewarding and encouraged - i can try do and post the maths later for an example i thought of

When looking at someone, pressing C and then applying any heals, you end up healing yourself and not the person infront. Pls fix

Y’all clowing him like he had no input in this appeal. He, in fact, had two inputs: 1) the 1.48% human part that’s “Hello Staff team”. And 2) the input prompt into chatgbt. do your thing man, dont let the haters get you down.

With all kidding and teasing aside, you remind me of someone way back in the day. Whilst this server can be fun, it is very toxic and i think that a break would be beneficial for you, particularly when you're not as stable as normal. Shit happens, you got caught. It is what it is. But right now i think you should take care of yourself. I'd +1 to reduce ban length from perma to between 4 months - 1 year so he can have a good break, recover and learn from this. You're a good kid imo. But, @Medinator@Medinator is right. God knows how long hacks were used and for what, so some time is needed to serve regardless.

With the exception of a few people, most of the +1ers are literally 16/17. Damn what cringe - ban em now until after we add the diverge modesty update.. Too 18+ rn
-
Lusting over feet. It's over. The 16 year olds need to be put in their places. Time to implement Jens plan and ban all the minors, until we close them legs animations!
-
yoon got perma banned??? Never heard of this - damnnn
-
These comments are hilarious LMAO
-
Speaking of which, how often do racket abusers get caught? Cos I've personally rarely seen anyone get banned for that in a long while, though im sure it occurs more than it seems

quite logical and makes RP 'more immersive'- you got a better control and grasp of things to do what you need to do particularly by having something physical to manage and utilise.

Harsher punishments for OOC (bad server health)
TroubledGhost replied to skucci's topic in Suggestions
Point 1. I dont even know who you are, you dont know my RP lol just cos you see me around and do my thing doesn't mean you know shit lol - but you'd be surprised if you did know my RP. "They hate him until they need him, then they love him" - Tayzonde 2025 (i added the last part). I do not speak constantly in OOC you spaz. Get my name out of your mouth and text, you uneducated ultracrepidarian. Point 2. Yeah its a known problem - there's already talks and suggestions about implementing flag removals from rumour for those who misuse it. Point 3. That is an inherent "problem" particularly with very serious RP factions. Stand still for 20 minutes, pick up a shipment, wait for cool down and order another shipment and repeat until a deal happens or some random encounter/drama event. It's boring. And they know it too. Nothing they can do about it because "im gonna get in trouble for it if my character has some fun cos i gotta be professional". So what do people do about this? Make alt chars and fuck around on that - there are MANY... and i mean MANY... HC/Dons/MC I can name who made alternative characters/use old retired characters to fuck around with as "minges" cos they cant with their mains or because they're bored af... and this feeds into the problem. Few are stupid enough to make Alts and power game events and situation with their main chars enemy/disliked factions to stir beef. *cough cassano* *cough bonnano*. A lot of people get burnt out and need breaks regularly because this game is just a part time job (full time if you're a HC). You LITERALLY pay tax weekly... in a game.. and the prices aint cheap in many places. And if you dont you get wacked lol. Sure "its easy to make 100k" - but good luck sustaining that in the long term without relying on custom clothes/cars to sell, or underlings to grind for you. (unless you bring something unique to the faction where you can negotiate not paying taxes by taking up other responsibilities like being a lawyer etc). And guess what - it isnt fun after a while (the whole reason we play...) and is a burden/chore... Point 4. Yeah... Metagaming is quite the issue.. i see it too and its not a good thing. Radios exist for a reason people :C but this is more so not for regulars but ACTUAL MINGES who come here to fuck around with NITRP. Point 5. Elaborate more Point 6, Good luck with that. Ironically I expected heat on the cars people drive too, which are mostly not from within the current era.. this isn't a problem lol you just have a different taste. Point 7. Good luck "forcing" anyone to do anything. They paid for it they can do whatever they want. And a lot of places seem dead during the morning/evening but when its night time/late morning they come alive and vice versa when people aren't on to see it, then said people complain afterwards. Point 8. Each factions have different RP standards, now whether its a good one or not... up for debate. It happens Each faction has their niche and Its nice, a place for most people who RP/play the game different and frankly I assure you, if the entire city RPd like commission factions, the server would die out swiftly out of sheer boredom, lacklustre progression and natural conflict/tension and if there is conflict/tension - its gay af. You joined 6 months ago and I dont know your play time during these 6 months, but these issues are not a new thing lol. You haven't seen shit lol. -
Someone recently walked into the Blue Lobster demanding protection money. He didn't walk out...
-
Bad Willy, whilst i dont agree with the ban - that's Monaclu, respect goes a long way, young buck.
-
+1 same response as the other appeal related to the same case.
-
+1 If RP is the concern, he is a good RPer especially if he needs to enforce shit. IIRC he came back recently from a short break and I have RPd with him a few times since his return (yes guys.. Howard larps...) If the mug was valid and he hasnt broken the timelimit.. I dont see a reason why he should be banned let alone perma'd. If he's a main character, has quite a few valuables and is ranked/made in his faction - mugging should be fair game despite the frequency being alarming cos it's high risk high reward; not like it's a new character doing this. People haven't seen this man work the fryer in the KFNC store - he's got grandma's touch.
-
-1 up the playtime, let’s see how you integrate into the community and what your niche is
-
Slightly +1 on the idea of having flags that can be removed - but then again if they are gonna be removed from someone wouldn't that warrant them being muted and/or banned for it? I guess this can be an alternative punishment, particularly during war time, it will be quite handy to have.
