Having reviewed the circumstances, we believe that these orders were made in retaliation to the Discord account being flagged, rather than being based solely on information that was available and established in-character. This means that OOC information was brought into an IC situation and subsequently used to justify actions against the character. As a result, we have determined that the orders were invalid and that the circumstances surrounding them do not meet the standards we expect for fair and proper roleplay. We understand that situations such as this can be frustrating for everyone involved, but it is important that IC consequences remain separate from OOC matters and that decisions are made based on information obtained through legitimate in-character means. Due to the acceptance and nature of the order being reversed, both parties lose knowledge of each other. JJJ cannot use any information nor hold information against the criminal organisiation they used to be part of, and also the criminal organisation cannot hold information against JJJ. Hello, thank you for submitting your PK appeal, After reviewing the evidence provided to us, we have found no evidence to support the claim that metagaming took place during the events leading up to your PK. We were able to establish that communication between the parties involved took place through in character means, including the use of radios, whispering, and IC voice chat. We also reviewed the evidence presented regarding the events leading up to the confrontation. From this evidence, we can understand why the individual who ultimately PKed your character became suspicious of your actions. In particular, your character was seen following them in a taxi, identifying them, and subsequently instructing another individual to follow them and drive in close proximity to them. While these actions alone do not necessarily establish wrongdoing, they provide a reasonable in-character basis for suspicion and explain why the other party chose to take further action against your character. The information and communication used to reach this conclusion were obtained through IC interactions. As a result, we are satisfied that the events leading to the PK were based on legitimate in character circumstances and that there was no metagaming involved in the decision to engage your character. Good afternoon, Banning admin here. To explain the situation we have here, I claimed a ticket that came in 5 minutes after restart, where the cop told me that you had ltaped and had liaised to me that you had stated no intention in returning after restart. From my understanding here is that the outcome you were wanting was to be left off free of charge, which without talks with a lawyer and going through the motions, frankly wouldn't be feesable for the cop to do. Your options in that instance would be taking a plea deal, getting a lawyer or taking the case to court. If it was the latter you were looking to have happened and an officer is not cooperating with that, I would recommend to make an in-game staff ticket or to speak to a supervisor within the PD. I'd also advice that just because that the server is near restart/restarting that this null and voids your IC actions and interactions that you're taking part in. I understand that you did have some personal issues crop up, but unfortunately LTAPing is LTAPing no matter the reason, if it is something like power issues, WiFi connection, etc. you can always make an effort of reaching out via channels such as the discord. Hello, Admin who took the ticket about your PK here, just to expand again on why you were PKed. When reviewing the full clip given to me for the PK, the officer was following a lead, where unfortunately you happened to be, while changing your outfit. This gave the cop probably cause to begin questioning you, where you then decided to pull a gun out, and also began to open fire upon the officer. In this instance, you did put your life first and put it at risk, similar to when mugging, when you take risks like this it is a gamble. You shoot him and kill him? You win, the cop is sent to the hospital and has to follow NLR rules. The cop begins to shoot back and kills you? Unfortunately the route you chose has lead to your death. As also explained this is a good lesson early on, as unfortunately we have to do this with people with hundreds, sometimes maybe thousands of hours on a character. Its an important lesson that everyone must go through at some point in the game. As for your following points: Police officers have radios that they can use, similar to players, where they can request back up through, as you are hearing this from the cop, infact he is not metagaming but following process when needing support. The officer who requested for your PK is not a staff a member, nor do I know the gent in anyway outside of being an Admin and him creating a ticket. This is a valid point that you unfortunately didnt bring up in the sit, unfortunately though when reviewing the logs, you were killed by different people. This too, the shooting would've caused noise (which is being discussed in the clip provided in your pk), which attracted the cops to your location. The officer was not infact fishing to kill you as he requested a search, gave you ample time, and then you decided to pull out a weapon (which he didn't know you had) and began shooting at him. The back up called was to stop and arrest you for questioning (assumption here). I'd recommend that you read the rules around PKs, conflicts and confrontation with the police. Hello, PKing Admin here. After reviewing the clip and reassessing my decision regarding your character's death, I have determined that the PK issued to your group, including yourself, remains valid. From the footage, it is clear that the three of you were actively participating in a raid at the Ghetto. All members of your group had the means to gain entry to the room. During the encounter, you were providing protection for the individual lockpicking the door, alongside another member of your group. Once the opposing party intervened to stop the raid, you engaged them by returning fire. The resulting gunfight ended in the death of both yourself and the individual you were protecting, meaning the raid was unsuccessful and your character was killed as a direct consequence of that conflict. Regarding your allegations of cheating, I understand why the footage may have raised concerns. However, after carefully reviewing the clip, I found no evidence to suggest any foul play. The player in question appears to be highly skilled in PvP, and having personally observed them participate in both PvP and PvE events previously, I have no reason to believe any hacks or cheats were involved in this encounter. I also found no evidence of third-person peaking. Even when the player briefly repositioned by backing into the room during the engagement, they remained within the normal limitations of third person gameplay and did not gain information through prohibited means. Hello there, banning staff member here. As we both can agree, you created a character that seemed to have ill intent around it, exemplified further by you again admitting to item transfer here. The only reason you were caught doing this too is your friend decided to mug on another character that was flagged as a mugging character that you then benefitted from too. I can appreciate that you feel sorry about what you done, but unfortunately you still broke rules and major one at that, being honest a week for what has happened here is very lax of me.
