Hey all, I'm taking the time to write out something that has been on my mind pretty much since the last racket event or when I made my last post about punishment scaling in the events. I think the server could really benefit from having some kind of in-character way to get rid of felonies, instead of it just being pardoned or donation-related stuff. Right now if you catch a felony, you’re kinda just stuck with it for a while. It doesn’t really create RP, it just limits what you can do until your either dead or pay father pendred. Stuff that already exists could be used: Doing city jobs / labor work (trash, maintenance, whatever!) Taxi driving for a certain amount of rides or time Fishing at the docks and turning in fish as like a “city quota” Nothing crazy complicated, just tasks that add up over time, and that take a certain amount of time. Add PD Ride-Alongs as a Way to Work Off Felonies Just adding onto the idea of being able to work off felonies, I think it’d be cool if PD ride-alongs were also an option. Not as a main method, but like another path people could take depending on the situation. What I mean Let people with certain felonies do a ride-along with PD and have that count toward reducing it. Nothing crazy just something structured. How it could work You get approved for it (probably by PD HC or a judge) You ride with an officer for a set amount of time You’re expected to actually listen, follow instructions, not mess around etc. If you waste time or troll, you just get removed from this process entirely no retries and it doesn’t count. Again like my last post, these are all suggestions and Im open to hear what the community thinks. Thank you, Baiited.

Let me just say this straight up! Racket event is the best time in the city. Period. For anyone confused on what a racket even is, it is the drug your faction unlocks and shares across your whole family. That is months of work sometimes. You start at garbage tier like qualuades, then move up to lsd, then meth, then heroin, then weed, and coke sitting at the top. That climb is the grind. That is the reward. When the racket event hits, it is not random chaos. It is factions fighting for progression. It is organization, numbers, strategy, loyalty. It is one of the only times the entire server feels alive at once. And that is exactly why PD involvement needs structure. First point, PKs Permanent kills during a racket event should be extremely controlled. If you kill a cop on ground level and that same cop gets you back in the same engagement, fine. That makes sense. That is direct action, direct consequence. What does not make sense is rooftop overwatch turning the event into a shooting gallery. We should not have Deacon Whitestone playing American Sniper from a building three blocks away wiping entire pushes. That is not RP. That is not balanced. That is not what the event is about. There should also be off limits zones for PD during racket events. for example Tunnels. Sewers. Certain interior locations on private properties. These areas should be faction war space. Let us fight each other. That is the whole point. Second point, felony charges I get it. Cops love their felons. They love stacking charges. They love the paperwork RP. Cool. You have 300 plus days out of the year to do that. Racket event lasts three days. Three. For those three days, felonies should be suspended or heavily limited. The amount of work the staff team puts into organizing this event is insane. The RP setups, the planned hits, the coordination. Just for it to get nullified because someone got hit with five felonies and sat in a cell while their whole faction fights. That kills momentum. It kills morale. It kills the event. This is not about removing PD completely. This is about understanding that the event is bigger than normal patrol gameplay. Let the factions cook. Third point, jail time scaling Nobody should be sitting for 49 minutes in the middle of a once in a blue moon racket war. That is absurd. Cap it. Tier 1 five minutes Lower level crimes. Failure to comply. Simple possession of a firearm with no discharge. Technical felon in possession with no violence. Tier 2 ten minutes Discharging a weapon. Failure to comply while armed. More aggressive behavior but no confirmed kills. Tier 3 fifteen minutes Actual killings in city. Heavy drug possession during the event. Extra weapon attachments. The worst of the worst during the three day window. Fifteen minutes max. In RP that is fifteen years. That is enough. The goal is not to make crime free paradise. The goal is to keep the event flowing. If someone gets grabbed, they do short time and get back to their faction. The war continues. The grind continues. Racket event is about progression. It is about factions earning better product. It is about activity and numbers and pride. Do not let over policing turn the best event on the server into a jail simulator. Let the people who grind enjoy the event. Just ideas btw, dont kill me.

I hear you, but if you read what I said just above what you said. I just said it shouldn't have been said. I reacted out of anger based on how he was treating me and thats not okay. Not once did I justify the comment said, as it was wrong. I justified it being classified as harassment, as I stopped the negativity asked of me to be stopped. I will send my formal apologies regardless of the appeal decision, I am just confused how you dont see me trying to take accountability at all?

My appeal has been much more than " My ban is unfair, I did nothing wrong." can we please be for real? if you look at other ban appeals, and see the effort I put into making sure I genuinely didn't break any rules, you can see the difference. harassment is the repeat offense, I stopped after JMZ pulled me. I 100% had nothing left to say about that subject, and am perfectly fine with saying It should have been said. however in the rule itself freedom of speech is literally stated, I made him uncomfortable and for that I'm sorry. However when made aware, I DID INFACT STOP. Maybe I don't know you well, but I'm basing everything off of this situation, why? because its all I know? It does seem very bias, as like I mentioned above I DID NOT harass him. You know what you are... a criminal, he kept arguing that I had no reason to arrest him. I did. multiple. I was sent back from a sit, and continued the rp. No comments made about the metagame knowledge? or how he started the interaction? Didn't think so...

Hi BoomRoasted, I’m not sure what you meant by “playing the victim card,” but I want to be clear. I’m simply trying to explain my side of the story, not deflect responsibility. That said, I do feel there’s a level of bias here, as it "appears" like there’s a personal connection between you and Drunken, which may have influenced how the situation was handled. Regarding the screenshot from ix_crazy (the guy who has nothing to do with this) he only nudges in just like mr nova when it benefits him, or when they can instigate something and exaggerate it. I want to clarify that there’s nothing in that conversation that shows I was trying to dig up anything incriminating. I had simply mentioned that I was permabanned for calling Drunken what I did, and when the conversation turned toward the “AI” comments, I backed off and stopped messaging further. I recognized that it was heading in the wrong direction and chose not to escalate. You just admitted to me saying "You know what you are" in the aspect of what Boom. Lets be real here, as soon as we got back to the cells I was straight RPing and had NO intentions or continued conversation of what I was told to stop doing. He was a criminal, and was trespassed. No other words were said beyond that point. These messages are as old as my ban, I messaged the group maybe at most 20 mins after my ban, so yes, very much still the heat of the moment if you ask me. When you pulled me into the sit you gave me less than 10 seconds to talk for myself, or explain the situation. Biased as all get out man, cant hide it.

Yes, Drunken. As mentioned above when I told the whole entire forums why I was banned It wasnt harassment, as when I was told to stop, I did. However you continue to harass everyday and get away with it. Did you not remember how you started the interaction? Its posted above for you. Id like to mention the metagame of knowledge he shouldnt have at the very end of my clip too. @Boomroasted he mentions my ESU suspension and he knows this how? This was PRIOR to my comments. Thats how you get alot of money, by being smart with it. Adding on to my original dispute, as I was wrong with the rule alignment. Based on Global Rule 2 as written, I genuinely don’t see how my behavior qualifies. I made a harsh comment during an in-game conflict, yes, 100% but the moment JMZ told me to stop, I stopped. I didn’t repeat the word or continue pushing the insult. If my tone came off as sarcastic or sharp afterward, that wasn’t me trying to continue harassment, it was me genuinely pissed off at the situation, it was well over an hour dealing with that, its not fair to say Drunken is innocent here at all, nor is the perma ban fair. It was me holding my ground, but still respecting the line that was drawn. “Harassment” is a continued behavior, I 100% lost all negativity towards that man post sit with JMZ. He however continued to egg on the situation as soon as I was returned. Not trying to go tit for tat here, im being as genuine as I possibly can be. Freedom of speech is literally acknowledged in the rule itself, I was made aware to stop, and I did. I tried moving on from the situation as swiftly as possible, Plea had been written for 30-45 minutes. This was well drawn out, and I had all the grounds needed to arrest the man. He used his power and relations to get me in trouble. as simple as it is. Again, I made no further targeted remarks, and went on about the RP. A perma is beyond harsh here. After you told me to chill, I went back and strictly continued the RP for the charges and thats all. You know its true, because you were there.
