Thanks Canadian. It has come to my attention it does do a /me. Just not consistently and I believe the /me could state more than just kicks down the door.
-
I just realized adding a /me to /doorkick does what the part one of this suggestion is asking for. It could say like [Name of officer] yells "hands up this is the police we are entering" and kicks open the door in front of them. A separate /me could be done for doorkicking vehicles if the code differentiates between the two of them. An audible noise for doorkicking that can go through sound proof walls would also be nice still.
-
This is a two parter. First of all, after recent events it has been discussed that police should in some way alert people to their presence during a raid. Currently you cannot bind a /y to doorkick because doorkick is also a say command and you cannot bind two say commands Bind key "say /doorkick;say /y POLICE PUT YOUR HANDS UP WE ARE COMING IN" is not possible. Recoding /doorkick to be a console command (or adding an additional command so /doorkick can still be used) seems like an obvious solution to make all parties in this debate happy. Second part. Add an audible door breaking sound to a successful doorkick that can be heard through walls. Not sure how possible this is, maybe a /me would also suffice but again the noise and /me after the doorkick would be nice.

Alright did people look into it and there's actual evidence of this people have that, not is this just your word? I'm okay with being wrong and I'm okay with not seeing any evidence but I'm not just gonna take you for your word. Like seriously one person confirm this and I'll change my vote. Literally the only reason I -1 is because of what I've heard of this metagame.
-
-1 can't convince me you weren't involved in the Adam metagame situation which unjustly pked at least 3 people in the UA-Commission war. Namely Blue, Corrado, and saint.

New monetization idea : Knife Skins
-
-1 Someone give me a valid way this wont be farmed for records (cause lets be honest people would just have everyone in their faction line up to get knocked out if you put cooldowns or make it cant KO same dude twice) Once a va;lid method is acheived ill change vote.

I've been thinking of this a lot. I don't think I agree with pks being main char only (I do agree with mugging being main char locked). But PKs are a part of progression in the server as it is required to become made in most factions. Having an alt shouldn't be locked to Associate level. My alternative suggestion would be to disallow hitmen chars/zips. If the only thing you do is log in to kill someone and do otherwise bare minimum RP. it should be treated in the same fashion as a mugging char, invalidate the rp, and result in punishment. A hitman char is riddled with metagame. Some nigga who you never met suddenly knows what you look like, where you are, and that you're on when barely anyone else is online? Alright. Doing pks for a faction should require you to be a core part of that factions roleplay, you should have time grinding shipments, running their business, hiring for them. If you are not extensively in the roleplay anymore you should not be allowed to "work" for the family. Done is the age of niggas who don't even play getting on and thinking they matter.

Personally I think the person should be pk active ONLY BY THE PERSON WHO OWNS THE VEHICLE during ACTUAL LOCKPICKING when lockpicking ends or is completing they would no longer be pk active. If you're stealing a car you need to realize you are putting your self at risk and actively lockpicking in front of the vehicle owner is a stupid thing to do. I think it would be too powerful to make them pl active during the whole robbery.

You realize they're health inspectors not food critics or restaurant rehabs. They aren't there to correct issues, just observe and report.

+1 5th time this has been suggested

+1 When I first met him to be honest I wasn't sure how I felt about him. He can seem to be abrasive and pushy but it is realized to be with good intentions and only trying to be the most helpful he can be. He is a respectful person and understands the systems and has an attitude that is willing to learn. I do not see how his roleplay as a cop should affect his ability to staff the server. Yes his cop is a dick. Who cares? Is logic just rping himself? The answer is yes he's a whiney bitch.

Maybe play the server and find out nigga

Hi Calink, While I can't speak for the notes and rule breaks and understand your logic there I can speak to these. This person has been accepted into the 14k and was a valued member before they were unfortunately pked. Yes they did get into some trouble with cops quite a bit, but they did do the RP we required and never brought the trouble to the organization. Their name was a valid RP name and their new character which was at the time "Maria Lee" was going to be a good citizen and rejoin the 14k after the cooldown. I had personally spoken to them about them being more law abiding and not getting arrested on their new char going forward. They agreed and were even taking the bar exam. Overall I understand your side and can see your perspective. I just wanted to answer to these two points as I did slightly disagree with them. Thanks!

If you think the racket event is the best time in the city go play a pvp server or some shit idk

@morty_sigma what's your opinion Don of 14k
-
+1 but I've made a thread like this and as far as I know it got completely ignored. This is a worldwide server the Don shouldn't be expected to be available at all hours of the day. It makes sense the top 3 can be trusted enough. If they can't they shouldn't be in their spot.

Mmmm_Cookies Re-Staff Application (Coming out of retirement yay)

+1!good guy -
+1 even if it was a mugging char (and I don't think it is because this user has spent a lot of time on this char in the city and if they mugged one person on it and that's it then...) perma for a first offense is wild. Not sure what hoovis is referring to but if there's more to this it should be in the ban logs. I look forward to to hearing admin/UA response but this doesn't seem like a valid permaban.

Open up cops to PKs | Witsec rework | Mega suggestion
Trak replied to KingJewMonaclu's topic in Suggestions
It's a very interesting idea and maybe it should be easier to pk cops. My only issue is locking the person to their cop char so it's like "you may only play on your cop and if you play more than 30 mins a day you're essentially putting yourself at unnecessary risk" like why can't they play other characters during this time? I get the 30 minutes a day. It's war rules for HC. I'm not against this I just wanna know the motivation. I also believe this would likely kill detectives even more. They're basically patrol+ right now. -
Custom headmodels should be free to swap to with a cooldown
Trak replied to Trak's topic in Suggestions
My main thing is, you cannot choose the custom model when you first create a char, so you need to pay 50k to switch to it. Make it a one time thing for all I care. -
Title. 50k every time you wanna switch to a WL item kinda crazy. You can't choose it on a new char and you need 50k to swap to it. Make it a 7 day, 30 day cool down or otherwise it costs 50k but the first time you swap to a custom should be free, and then it should be free after a set time frame. I understand why unlimited swaps would be abusive.
