  1. doing a tally chart on people who can't read more than a sentence before thinking they need to reply. this post is a great case study
  2. if there is a little menu addition for stoves it might be helpful to add an option/ability to upright a stove for when it inevitably spawns in something else and flies across a room
  3. -1 biggest, fattest -1 i can muster. you're trying to get rid of stove bombs; a core, absolutely necessary, and beloved mechanic in our mafiarp? a special place waits for you in hell
  4. -1 seems like a good idea on paper but 'being funny' is probably not the best kick-start for an idea. afterthought, could be an okay idea if you forced each and every cadet/probie to do 'desk duty' and be a dispatcher for a period, or have certain required hour #'s for pd seniority positions
  5. +1 big fan of second chances
  6. we, as in me and people who are not me (5 other specific posts + numerous other +1's).
  7. we're all in agreeance the mansion is useless. if we can the mansion it would be neat to see a row of the old southside style townhomes on the right side of whats now the mansion driveway, some green space on the inside/church side of the turn, the road should link back up with the car dealer tunnel again and make a 4way underground and on the sharp side of the intersection where mansion currently is we can put more greenspace around a self storage area we could also have a lil construction zone woven somewhere in there too, or perhaps another gas station/corner store on the inside corner something kinda like this crude doodle e: after looking at pendred's reply for underutilized townhouses, one of the proposed townhouses could also be under construction and available publicly for rp purposes or whatever while the 'store' in the corner could remain a vacant shop/misc store or whatever might be added. two new townhomes would be excessive but in peak server hours it may be nice to have an alternative when the boathouse and spare townhouse are filled.
  8. your message reads like poor rage bait didn't ask for anything, its called a suggestion. thats what this whole section of the forums is for nobody said it was a safe or smart crime. a lot of the components would likely incriminate you very easily and it should rightly come /w a higher risk; but its still a crime and prevalent in the mob especially nonetheless 'brain rotten' oh shit guys look standards have officially started right here. give me a break. im not exactly asking for emerald, ruby, and diamond money printers in the f4 menu here.
  9. -1 ban should definitely stay in place. try again in 6 months
  10. nigga go be a mobster irl idk what to tell you +1 for lotto tickets

    Phones

+1 if landlines are established for businesses i'd love to see the phone booths around the city become usable too.
  12. on behalf of the rest of the forums id like to congratulate you on another successful post; thanks for your solid input lord forbid a server that has crime in it has a crime suggestion that criminals could take part in
  13. ik im probably not the first one to suggest this and there very well could be a proposed update that has other plans with counterfeiting; but if not i feel like counterfeiting if done right could be a neat addition to the game obviously theres countless different ways to do it but at its core the concept i had for it for it was: tl;dr bleach money -> create money 'blanks' -> put blanks into printer to make into higher value bills dump bleach bottle into bucket>put real money in>3minTimer; money bleeds and becomes a 'blank' dollar>4minTimer; money blanks 'dry'>place blanks into printer>remaining 3 minutes spent printing. bam end product, rinse repeat it would be available to all factions as a quicker but labor intensive way to make money (presumably taking roughly 1/2 the ordinary shipment time, 10 minutes total) i dunno if it would be better whether or not the 'product' would be applied directly to your wallet for use or if it would produce an item of 'counterfeit cash' to sell to a dealer/deposit to an ATM to clean- maybe theres a better way than either of those who knows *'color printers' would need to be added to the electronics store (you could have a higher rate for citizens to buy it and a 'supplier/bulk' rate for any/all criminal enterprise 'employees' purchasing printers? might be more effort than its worth but just an idea) *'large buckets' would need to be added to the hardware store or any container for mixing money with bleach, really *if you're feeling particularly stingy you could add ink/toner for printers as well or have them break after X amount of uses. this could also be a way to enhance the quality of counterfeits as well though too *blanks could be air-cooled and/or you could be able to use a stove could make it go faster at risk of it failing/burning/exploding a stove *you could let people keep created blanks in their inventories to keep it a very malleable process in terms of time consumed. *felon exclusive opportunities if thats the the new in-thing if it isn't totally clear this is just a suggestion/brainstorm and hardly a well thought out plan. i dunno if the ideas are viable or interesting to others but but it seems like it fits the nature of the game and can be expanded upon further wanted to see what others thought/if yall had input or ideas too
  14. cool idea, would love to see it as long as its adjustable and im not hearing gunshots from pd @ car dealer
  15. i deadass made a dupe for them and got told not to use it
  16. so wait are you trying to tell us that you had no idea the car you just saw stuck in between the building and railing would be there when you swung the burger around yourself 180 at mach? you're either retarded or retarded.
  17. the forums' strongest warrior im ngl, im downright impressed. bro needs a staff spot at this point
  18. I appreciate it, color this suggestion useless then haha. I understand the last month or so has been busy but from my perspective it just looked like it was deleted and swept under the rug. Generally not in the business of rushing you guys, so when I saw it gone I felt inclined to make this. Thank you!
  19. answered in comments Hi. I posted a few months back about the same topic; I'm interested in having more props available for use. At first I was happy to be informed that there is a medium to do this! I promptly began collecting a bins worth of props that will be helpful in later builds, posted them all in the ticket which was claimed, designated under props and proceeded to wait patiently for months for an update, no less for the whitelists. I'm seeing now that at some point it was (seemingly, at least with no explanation) randomly closed and the props very clearly never added to the whitelist. If I may save anyone who is interested the time; it is now abundantly clear to me that the process described isn't the case and is in fact absolutely useless. If you're going to prevent people from asking for props if they ask please be forthright and just say no; don't waste our time please. I've watched a gentle trickle feeding of props get introduced into the whitelist over and I would truly hate to think that the case for getting them implemented is nepotism based exclusively. Now I'm here to instead suggest we have a medium for actually getting props whitelisted in a meaningful way since 'the way' clearly hasn't worked. My suggestion; have a very small team of moderators/lower administration have a delegated role meant for like-tedium that UA may not have the time or interest for completing. I wouldn't expect this clerical 'role' to impact standard staffing duties and rather could be a medium for staff members to express an interest in upward growth while being willing to put time and effort toward it. Completion of these small time administrative tasks could potentially contribute to activity/progression metrics that exist for staff members being active. That is all up to you guys though. For my props gripe; I suggest the creation of a basic google form which tracks the person who submits it, the prop(s) they would like submitted, pathing links for said props, images of the props in the spawnlist and/or spawned in, as well as possibly a notes section for any applicable circumstance/prop. Alternatively just add a dedicated section to the ticket arena in the Diverge main discord for props alone so that they do not clutter other more time sensitive tickets. Discretionary prop implementation could still be an issue as can any position that sees acceptance and denial; I would recommend a someone (Likely UA proper) who oversees the process regularly to see what things are being passed/denied as well whom is passing and denying things for whom and if it is. There will come a point where we run out of props to implement; that is just a fact. A dedicated role for just prop implementation may not be a wise idea for that very reason. However I'd still recommend a 'UA peon' role for other menial UA tasks that may not be covered in timely fashion.
  20. +1 if this happens we need to keep track of how much a char spends on /rumour
  21. +1 but they tried this once before already, it did not go well iirc
  22. ham brained idea i had a few days ago. it would be neat if you could reload or have some type of alt fire with fists where you enter a mode that allows you to attempt to knock out the other player when enabled. theyd function identically to normal fists- except a player who is near or in critical condition could be knocked out. useful for boxing and non-lethal escalations but i def could see it being a minge issue too but no more than normal fists tbh if you want to spice it up, it could also have a chance of killing them instead of knocking them out if you want some more manslaughter/3rd degree murder charges. i know yall love your gambling after all
  23. Honest question- and there could very well be more that meets the eye on this one but I must beg the question; Why don't we open up the whitelist system and take a good chunk of the props out of the blacklist? I know the simple answer (as far as I know) is that they're easily abusable. A chunk of them are explosible, some outright massive, others just completely otherworldly and out of place in every way. I can't lie though if these are the only reasons to me these seem like excuses of sorts. Perhaps this is just my take but realistically when people are inclined to break the rules they're generally going to be doing it regardless of what props they have access to. You can get the same damage out of making soda cans invisible and putting them in the street at 3am as you can with an 8x8x8 cube, car, or FAFL. Players who have donated usually have a pretty solid mind about them, you're generally not throwing cash at a game if you don't intend to stay and to boot staff has never been known to shy away from putting the hammer down when necessary and removing PET perms when people do end up abusing their permissions. Now of course I'm not saying we should have players be able to spawn entire Citadels, skyboxes, and 32x32x32 cubes for the sakes of 'creative liberty'. Certain egregious props that can explode or have very clearly no practical use apart from being the size of a city block should most definitely remain blacklisted. Apart from that though props of all types can be used for unique and fine tuned decoration while even larger props/more oddball props could help draw back the amount which get used when building; enabling people to circumvent just using a mammoth amount of plastic cubes when 2-3 well placed models could suffice. I've taken notice that gradually more and more props have trickled into the whitelist over time anyway; so it stands to argue why not just open the flood gates? We have plenty of good addons that are already in the content pack after all and there is hardly a sense in not taking full advantage of them when we already have them at our disposal. I understand this could be a bit of a laborious process however and I'm also unsure of how/if the whitelist interacts with server performance which may be one of the few things gatekeeping the matter. I can speak for myself when I say that I'm happy to help and give any input for props that could be whitelisted if this is remotely considerable and I'm most certain a number of people who build regularly or just want to see that kind of change in the server would happily give input to props that would further quality of life if given the chance as well.
