  1. Your Character or Steam Name: Bic Your SteamID: STEAM_0:0:424709755 Your Discord ID#: bic.lighter Reason for ban: RDM Length of ban: 5 Days Reason for appeal (dispute/apology): both tbh Why should you be unbanned?: I was under the impression that someone pointing a gun at you is means to shoot the person, but seemingly not in this situation. The guy in the clip claimed I was following him at first, which he said as I was literally walking away (not only that but you can see him walking around for a whole minute while I was tabbed out). After he said that, I was planning to go up to him and whisper something random but he pulled the gun almost immediately. If he would have said something like "get away or im gonna kill you" or some valid threat, I would have just walked away. The only reason I shot was because I thought he would shoot first (guy seems like a minge to me). He made an in game ticket and I tried to explain that he pointed a gun at me, which I thought at the time is a valid reason to shoot back, but Velocity said it was RDM baiting (something I've never done nor do I tolerate). I could see how he would think that, and I don't think his reasoning was bad either. On his side of things, I rdm'd the same guy a bit earlier before the ban bc he was saying some very disrespectful shit to me and people I know. This led to me making the mistake of shooting him for no RP reason. I don't have many recent RDM PO's (only a 2 or 3 in the past eight months) reflected by the short ban I received. I would like to apologize for crashing out on this guy during my first interaction with him, it was unwarranted and out of the ordinary compared to my normal behavior. I should've left this guy alone but I really thought he was up to no good/minge-ing. My reasoning for making this appeal is to see what other people think of my second interaction with him and see if it really was RDM. 2. I think the server could greatly improve immersion by expanding the available roleplay animations. Instead of needing to create entirely new animations from scratch, it might be worth looking into pulling animation data from frameworks like Clockwork HL2RP or similar Source RP schemas that already have large animation libraries built out. A lot of these frameworks already support things like: Smoking animations. Wall leaning. Notebook writing. Radio use. Searching/patdowns. Injured idles. Sitting variations. Hand interactions. (handover/receive) Investigation poses. Since these already exist within the Source animation sets, it may just be a matter of integrating or porting the animation tables rather than creating entirely new ones. This could save development time while still expanding RP expression. Why this would help: Right now most interactions are just characters standing still during conversations. More available animations would allow players to show emotion, status, and intent through body language instead of only text. This would especially benefit: Mafia meetings. Police investigations. Business RP. Interrogations. Street interactions. This could allow Diverge to quickly expand RP immersion without major development overhead. The goal wouldn't be feature bloat, just giving players more tools to visually roleplay and make interactions feel more alive. Please give your thoughts on the matter below, your opinion is valued and appreciated. Thank you.

Name of Character:Hanh Honkler Character ID:idk SteamID:STEAM_0:0:631329101 Your Discord ID#:nifheim Date of PK:3/21/26 Reason for PK:Prolly for being a CI Rat everyone loves xoxo Why should you be unPK'd? What server rule or PK rule was violated?:I just want to see the evidence that was used to approve this and connect Hanh to Natyres Perendi as rudaj never actually got my ID (this would suck if a clip of me admitting to it word for word appeared) If possible please provide video evidence or photo evidence if PK does not follow the guidelines:

  6. Hello, I'm the staff member who issued your punishment. When the player initially reported you, I brought you into a sit after reviewing the evidence presented to me. During this, you openly admitted to committing RDM. I considered your honesty and cooperation, which is why I thanked you for your honesty and issued a note rather than a harsher punishment and ensured the affected player was compensated. However, no more than five minutes later, the same player submitted another report, claiming that you had committed RDM again. Upon reviewing the clip, it was evident that you continued to follow the player despite receiving multiple warnings, which appeared to be an attempt to provoke or bait a reaction. When questioned about this during the second sit, you stated that you were responding to a radio call and heading to your apartment. Based on the evidence available, I did not find this explanation to be credible, and reviewing your side of the situation which you previously claimed that you did not clip, it is obvious that you lied to me in the sit and you were not called on radio to your apartment. Additionally, your record shows three prior punishments related to RDM, which further supports the decision to escalate the consequence in this instance. That being said, I do believe you were honest during the initial interaction, and it is possible that your actions were influenced by frustration after the earlier report made against you. While this does not justify the behavior, it provides some context to the situation, I would not have any objections to you being unbanned. Best of luck on your appeal.

  7. Rather than enforcing FearRP through strict mechanics, another approach could be adding passive stress prompts that gently encourage more realistic character reactions without actually forcing players to act a certain way. The idea would be simple: small immersive text appearing after intense situations to help players naturally carry their character’s emotional state forward instead of just moving on like nothing happened. Example Prompts: After a gunfight: "Your hands are still shaking from the adrenaline." After being arrested: "Your heart hasn't quite slowed down from what just happened." After being badly injured: "A sharp pain hits your side whenever you move too quickly." After witnessing violence: "What you just saw keeps replaying in your mind." This wouldn’t force actions, apply debuffs, or take away player freedom in any way. The goal would simply be to provide small reminders that help encourage more believable reactions and maintain emotional continuity during roleplay. Why this could improve RP: A system like this could naturally encourage stronger roleplay habits instead of relying purely on rules or staff intervention. It could also help newer players understand reaction-based RP by subtly showing how characters might realistically respond to stressful situations. Features like this can add a layer of psychological realism while still keeping the experience enjoyable and player-driven. The focus would be immersion, not control. Possible implementation: This could be triggered through simple checks like recently taking heavy damage, being arrested, being near violent activity, or dropping to low health. A cooldown system could also prevent messages from appearing too often so they stay immersive instead of feeling repetitive or intrusive. Overall, the idea would be to enhance atmosphere and roleplay depth without restricting how players choose to play their characters.. I think it would personally be a good addition. Thank you for reading, as always please provide your input and opinions below, as they are valued.

  8. Do you think this might have been the result of him not having his active status removed after he was put through witness security? This happened to me and it was reversed immediately. Changing name and face out of public record is supposed to also have your active status revoked until they're able to prove it.

  9. This is a two parter. First of all, after recent events it has been discussed that police should in some way alert people to their presence during a raid. Currently you cannot bind a /y to doorkick because doorkick is also a say command and you cannot bind two say commands Bind key "say /doorkick;say /y POLICE PUT YOUR HANDS UP WE ARE COMING IN" is not possible. Recoding /doorkick to be a console command (or adding an additional command so /doorkick can still be used) seems like an obvious solution to make all parties in this debate happy. Second part. Add an audible door breaking sound to a successful doorkick that can be heard through walls. Not sure how possible this is, maybe a /me would also suffice but again the noise and /me after the doorkick would be nice.
