I know we're way closer to the 90s than we are the 80s, but video arcades were still fairly predominant up until consoles really took off in the early 2000s. Either: A) It's public, and people can play and the way it'd work is after so much score, like let's say their final score is around 1000, this would give them a "100 ticket" item (could use the casino number plates if you wanted to, or create a custom ticket model, either or really) in their inventory. 10,000 score, "1000 tickets" etc, etc. They would then go to the vendor / npc in the building and sell them for real money like oil companies do with their barrels of oil. B) If it's a private business, it'd be the same thing but the family / business would be the only ones with access to the NPC and can sell tickets and give the person a large cut of however many tickets they gave them. (up to the business and / or the law however they want to make it work). EDIT: Instead of a ticket system you could also just utilize the coin exchange machine. Let the business set the price for coins and they can collect the cash the vendor generates. In the end, this could be very legit. People can do their VR chat RP in the arcade, shoot the shit while playing Galaga or some other game, while others who are more serious and want to continue conducting their illegal business and running their shipments don't have to hear "skibidi rizz" and "gmod" / other ooc terms every corner they take. This could isolate a lot of those people to the video arcade if done well and free up a lot of OOC traffic on the streets, while providing another potential legal way for businesses to make money. (I don't know if this is the correct addon I've linked above, but this is what I would guess the games would look like as the addon as well as this video was uploaded a long time ago).

Seems a little OP to be stun locked mid taze. Tazers are not necessarily 100% effective at subduing a target and prongs can easily miss. It is not outside the possibility that a suspect could resist while being tazed. Armed shooter about to blow a cop's head off but the cop gets a lucky taze and the dude is stun locked unable to react? They get frozen when the taze is complete, this is an easy no from the judge's panel.

I know all the muggers or car thief's are going to say no instantly but wait. Currently lockpicking is boring its just a bar like unlocking and locking a door adding a feature like a little minigame where you have to pick an actual lock like in the fallout games or in Skyrim it would add more depth to locking picking and make it more fun to do as a whole and would stop someone lockpicking your car or townhouse or hotel room with no effort overall i think this is a win win on both sides.

I feel that it is unfair and unbalanced during police raids, once raids are over with; if someone in a criminal faction gets killed they are the only ones who are Pk'd. Meanwhile Police that are "shot and killed" they are only sent to the hospital, having consequences for heavy rp situations such as Raiding a property will enhance roleplay. Since it will call for more accurate tactics rather than bum rushing the room being shot and killed and still being able to return to the scene. Police have the resources and capability to do something different than just being "heroic officers in hospital after being shot... oh and lol the only person dead is this criminal!" It is understandable if this is the case while regular street arrests and the person decides to pull out a gun and fire and car chases with the police, but in a case such as raids pks for officers should be considered.

+1 whys cops got to be the most PROTECTED faction on the server. Get body armor and free life's only risk is pretty much being mugged is crazy. I have like 30 PKs on my cop life that's how broken being a cop is. Walk down the street with a hidden AR and body armor with some crazy gun attachments. All I'm saying is there should be some risk to doing a raid.

Hello! I banned you for a multitude of reasons. I noticed a weird pattern of you constantly making RDM tickets, this being one of them. After seeing this obvious attempt to RDM bait and mingey behavior, I began to spectate you. Not long after that, you ran into little Italy screaming extremely loud that you were going to call the police after being told to leave, which is about as obvious as it gets when it comes to RDM baiting. You then drove around in your truck, where you blocked a new player attempting to do some deliveries into a wall and started laughing and yelling at him, telling him to "do something". I discussed with other staff members, and they also agree you were RDM baiting. You were pulled after myself and a couple other staff members spectated you, we were all in agreeance you were RDM baiting, and had NITRP.

If staff are not online, I would reach out to members and try get someone to deal with the situation. This would be the most professional way to deal with the situation. Gathering evidence like screenshots and clips would help show what this corrupt staff member has been doing, therefor painting a more clear picture for the person dealing with it, which would make their life easier. A member of your faction / friend of yours has a ticket made against them accusing them of RDM’ing, and minging. You know that this person rarely does this when you play with him. How do you proceed knowing this? Does it constitute possible bias?: Every ticket, every report and situation should proceed and continue to proceed without bias. The ticket should be handled as normal, asking for clips if need. Following an investigation, an unbias punishment should be made for the person in question, regardless of whether they are your "friend" or not. Friends do not get a free pass in a situation and should be treated the same as any other member within the community.

I feel like gun stores should be given the option of buying single weapons from their NPC. For example lets say someone wants to buy an akm which is 40k a shipment but they only want 1 meaning that the average joe will make a loss on that sale and have the burden of trying to sell the other gun Overall I think it would balance the income for gunstores and also give people more of an option on weapons because they won't get turned away for only wanting to buy 1 gun It would also benefit all the gun stores because they won't have to dedicate banks to back stock which could turn into legal problems for them due to the 10 gun limit (15 with collector)

Thank you for taking the time to review my appeal and providing your reasoning. I can understand how the situation could have appeared to be RDM baiting, and I'd like to provide my perspective on the events in question. I first want to say that I understand this clip appears to be some kind of deliberate baiting; let me reassure you that this is not my intention. This incident simply happened so suddenly that I see now how it may have appeared. I made an ill-thought-out split-second decision, and I can see how that would have been interpreted as baiting. I feel that was a situation with my friend in the white tee that I should have handled way better, and I did not see it at the time. I want to make clear that I had no idea what was going to happen, and I didn't realize the implications of my actions. I am fully aware of the importance of game integrity and have learned from this. Regarding the previous RDM notes: I fully understand how those could reflect on my behavior. The things I am doing are because I try to improve myself; I took the incidents as opportunities to learn from. I do want to become a better citizen in this community and follow this server's rules from now on. Where possible, I would seize this opportunity and go back into the game with a determination that in the future, I conduct myself better. I fully understand that the ban may still stand, but just a second chance to prove that I can be a more responsible and rule-following player will be great.

The multiple RDM tickets I have made we're not false, I legit got RDM'd like 3 times within my first 20 minutes of logging onto the server. I even got told that I should die in real life during one of the sits and the guy received a verbal for global rule 13, darkfire can vouch for me that those sits were valid. When I was ramming the guy in the truck he threatened me FIRST, so I started ramming him which is ROLEPLAY. He was able to retaliate and shoot me and I wouldn't be able to do anything about it because I dont even have a gun, and plus its valid for him to kill me if I keep ramming his car its in the rules. ALSO I never said "do something" so stop lying nor did i laugh at the player this was also never even made into a sit because i never even died u threw my car in the air then i just drove away and got more shipments.

I didn't "steal" from the prisoner, I did take the suit from his inventory but told him i was going to give it back to him, which i was planning to do but I couldn't since I wasn't able to move because as I was blocking another prisoner from leaving the cell. In the case I tried moving to give it to him the other player that was with him would have escaped (showed intentions to). What I see as a proper punishment is a PD blacklist for interacting with prisoners but not a ban as I wasn't "stealing" from a prisoner. The guy I "stole" it from can vouch for me and confirm I was 100% giving it back to him.

+1 Awesome ideas all around- white collar could go a long way for helping players starting out have a pipeline that gives them another form of income to consider, that way they don't feel strangled starting out. As for spitballing ideas, perhaps some benefits for officers as well to make sure it isn't wildly out of balance. I've never been opposed to police keeping factions on their toes after all. It would be interesting if undercovers/rats had more physical listening devices. Instead of just needing to do a '/me' to lazily plant or disclose a listening device, in certain circumstances you could have electronic devices that have a bug in them and must be inspected to notice. Activated bugs in an inventory could have the 'equipped' square icon on them to indicate whether they are on or off- however this could be too easy to see for some peoples taste. (Ex: A flashlight that would be in your inventory and, but once you hover over it to find its different from the normal description i.e 'Flashlight | Good thing you inspected this. After a closer look you notice this flashlight is attached to a listening device powered by the batteries of the flashlight. It appears to be operating/not operating right now.') I'd expect you could do the same with other standing devices like a Hi-fi, Cassette Player which can be placed and cycle through a dozen random songs or so to feign its utility- but when a player interacts with it the device has an observable and tunable radio frequency modulator or other means of transfer/recording that gives away the fact is a bugged item. It would be very interesting for these devices to not be exclusively limited to the police as well- perhaps purchasable at the barge or other shady NPCs for an exorbitant price. (Perhaps also a 'Jerry-rigged Radio' available at the barge as well? It would be available for $1,500-$3,000 and allow Citizens of New York/Delivery/Cabbies to read /rumour chat. Most rumors are probably either going to get you mugged or give you charges anyway; but it allows for the potential to let more renegade citizens make money illegally. (To keep factions more viable, it could have limited uses before it breaks much like the fishing pole.)) Tacking onto that point just a little, another interesting idea for a 'new' racket (im sure someones mentioned it before me) would be a 'Fencing Racket'. The idea centers around the concept that there is an nameless 'contact' within the PD and/or Department of Waste Management with access to a mix of low end firearms or drugs confiscated from the lowly and clumsy criminals of Southside. Perhaps not directly linked to items that have been confiscated to prevent accidentally getting too powerful from idiots getting pinned with an LMG/AR shipments, their fence racket would allow their members to get small amounts of random drugs (3-8 bags?) and random small arms (low end pistol, shotgun, and SMG?) from their shipments. Shipments would generally only have drugs OR firearms in them and not both. They would purchase shipments of 'Stolen Evidence' and would not know the contents of their shipment until it arrives in the city. Said faction with the fencing racket would likely be unable to sell drugs directly either, as they have direct access to any of them and it would prove to just be a money printer. However they would be inclined to sell their small amounts of processed good on the street to turn profit. Firearms would take a similar avenue and be treated as an underground market removed from the firearms database. (If people are caught with a firearm acquired in this way, possession of a stolen firearm would likely become an aggravating charge as well, bringing more use to the concept of filing serial numbers off of weapons.) (Factions could negotiate for the Fencing faction to not sell 'their goods' in order to keep their product scarce; but because of their ability to draw naturally from it in the random fashion they do , it may wise to not have it be directly cause for war. This is more of an IC matter however and I feel it may be wrong of me to weigh in- rather it should be established in game and dependent on the factions involved.) Pricing may very well be a bit of a pain in the ass however, but the expectation is that there can be losses in some shipments and gains in others. Some days are 3 baggies of weed, other days its a brand new Uzi. I imagine it would have to be test-bedded a little to make sure it isn't skewed, but I believe the idea gives enough variety to at least look into! I know it won't exactly be happening this week; but it'd be awesome to see some of the ideas in this thread considered and even introduced one day! You already see extortions happening in game. By nature it would just probably be used as a more open ended form of extortion and when so you need a faction to own property in the first place with so few being legal- quite literally everyone is vulnerable to be bent over in one way or another. This is just another avenue of doing it. I'd argue that getting 'fucking visited on sunday to pay 10%' is a fact of life in this server no matter who you are- with or without the RP aspect. Fortunately for you, this isn't real life and we will not be 'getting real' here. If people want to make an IC shell company that can get so far in debt it gets sunken, game is game. If they get caught doing it, game is game. If you want to make an unreasonable demands from another company and risk war, game is game.
