What is your motivation/reason for applying?: * The community on this server can be a little toxic at times but it's meant for fun, People like to talk their shit and whatnot but at the end of the day almost everyone is willing to help new people and even old people. I'm on everyday grinding interacting with people throughout all my characters and feel like I could do something better with that time. I had a rough start when I first joined by getting a permanent ban which I do regret, But I got it appealed thankfully. My time would be better spent helping people in the server than running around as a little Asian man. Also I hate how long some tickets can take, I think everyone's experienced a time where it's been low pop and you make a ticket just to whitelist a guy and it takes forever for anyone to come do it. I personally want to reduce that time and make it easier for everyone to continue to do their RP scenarios without the worry of big delays on something so small. Why should you be considered over other candidates?: * The reason I should be considered over other candidates is that I've been with the community longer than most others. I've been here for a long time with the playtime to show it with plans to stay probably until the server either is no longer up or Garry's mod fully dies. I feel like I could contribute more time then others. I may not have the experience of others but I'm more than willing to put countless hours into fully learning everything there is to know. I have a lot of patience and don't mind spending longer times in sits to fully clear up everything and get every detail. There is no point in rushing a sit that could create unintended holes in stories. Do you have any previous staffing experience? If so, why?: Yes, A permanent ban for Item Transferring pushing 2 years ago now I believe. (This was appealed and I was given a second chance.) Would you say that you are well known in our community, what's your reputation, what do other members think of you?: *"Well known" would be an overstatement. But I am known for the most part, I switch between a lot of characters and often delete ones to make new ones so it might be confusing to some people. I've been in almost every faction that has been in Diverge apart from a very select few. I try to keep a decent reputation with the people around me. I can't speak on their behalf of what they think of me since I can't read minds but I would say I have an alright standing. I try to avoid beefs for the most part, But when someone's obviously looking to start something I'm quick to call their bluff and tell them to "up the hands" OOC wise I've had a good reputation with people and try to keep IC beefs out of it. I took a break and in my break my children made names for themselves as Snitches so some people might know me as the father of some not so funny fart smellers. What is your favorite moment on Diverge so far?: When Officer Oswald Carvell walked up to a Mexican man in front of Hardware store, asked him if he was selling crack to which the man replied "I ain't selling shit" Which led to Oswald demanding the guy to, and I quote "Go ahead do me a favor face the wall spread ya butt cheeks squat down and put ya hands on your head" which to an unexpected result the guy actually complied and let Oswald search him. If so, list their names: No ------------------------------------------------- Problem Solving Detail step by step exactly the actions you would take. Someone RDMs and you are currently off-duty. How do you handle this?: Inform the person that was RDM'd to make a staff ticket, if they make a ticket switch to my staff character and handle it. A clip would still need to be provided since I might not know the full story, It could've been a fair reason like the person mugged him earlier and was still on a timer to be PK'd. You have seen a fellow staff member of higher or equal rank than you abusing fairly often, but never doing anything too noticeable. What do you do?: If it's not anything crazy then just tell them we aren't supposed to do that, If it leads to affecting the server or people in the server A member of your faction / friend of yours has a ticket made against them accusing them of RDM’ing, and minging. You know that this person rarely does this when you play with him. How do you proceed knowing this? Does it constitute possible bias?: If there is other staff online let them take the ticket, If the ticket is open for to long then take the ticket and use the least amount of bias possible, If the person did RDM/minge and there is valid evidence to prove this then proceed with the proper punishment. No one is above the server rules.

What server rule or PK rule was violated?: item transfer/mugging char If possible please provide video evidence or photo evidence if PK does not follow the guidelines: As I do admit the item transfer was a little iffy as it could have been seen as item transfer and I won't argue that even though that was not my intention. I will say though I would like to be un pk'd because this character was not a mugging character. This character has been in pd and made it all the way to Senior officer. This character has also been a avid taxi driver and done so money things that show against "mugging character". " since your mugging and supplying to de leon people im going to pk you too". I would love to know all the people I supplied down below. Also even if I did want to mug someone and give the items to someone that was in de leon to keep that makes me a mugging char. I BEG to be un pk'd. That pm9 I had and 4 grand to quite a bit of hard work to get plus I was even thinking about coming back into the police and becoming a detective. I'm sure monaclu could vouch I did have a encounter with him at city hall as he was passing by asking if there were spots open and saying that I was a former cop. At best NYPD faction can have an additional 'x' amounts of points in stamina as realistically a patrolling officer would be in relatively good shape to run after people. None of that silly adrenaline hoo ha would be needed. like just a simple +5 to base stamina / endurance would be enough, not a major buff but enough to make walking down a whiteshirt more manageable.

adrenaline shots? wtf. This is a roleplay server, not a call of duty game. Just lower the speed given to the player when a coke baggy is consumed.

First of all ive mugged up to 15-20 people on my de leon char and went for a mug the other day so you are wrong on that part. Second, my history being banned is because I was newer to the server and not fully aware of the rules and just mugging crazy on a fresh character. Banned and pk'd for mugging char, this was not mugging char. Item transfer and mugging char are quite a bit different. I feel this pk was unjust because first of all I barely ever even play my de leon char and plus this was sort of a main character/not mugging char. I would understand the pk way more if I had actually just made a fresh char and started mugging.

Imagine getting denied service at a restaurant because of your attire. When it’s a pizza parlor you shouldn’t have to wear a suit and tie, no hats allowed. Having the ability to deny service is allowed and should continue.

Based off the fact I know one of these muggers they have had several different characters where there only source of income is mugging and most of the time they cut out anything that invalidates pkes they are apart of a group of friends that do nothing but mug and definitely have mugging chars

Picture this: You're an officer of the NYPD. Half of the criminals you try to catch run at super speeds and you physically can't catch them. You can follow them in a car, but by the time you get out of the car they're gone. They always end up in the same place; the ocean. There, they're untouchable. Now, picture this: You're an officer of the NYPD. You have a criminal you're chasing on a felony charge, big case potential. He's running way too fast for you, you're going to lose him. BUT WAIT! You've just so happened to prep for this moment by purchasing an Adrenaline Shot from the NYPD locker for like $10,000! What a change of dynamic! It has the same exact effects of cocaine; except it's legal for police officers to carry and utilize! Now you don't have to decide between keeping a baggy of cocaine for yourself and risking it all for your cases, or letting most of your criminals get away! But I hear you. "Why not just tase them before they realize whats happening?" "Why not shoot them in the leg?" Tasers don't hit half the time, it's a challenge to land a shot. Every criminal who's on cocaine knows to keep their distance anyway. If you shoot someone in the leg, you're gonna get raped in court. "Load rubber rounds!" - That still means they get to shoot back at you and end up dead without risk of PK. Make it happen. Please. For the NYPD.
