Hey, I am the staff who handled this ban I had decided on this due to the evidence shown in the logs that shows you raiding multiple times within too short of a time frame, as well as using a new character who has not provided any considerable roleplay, value or time to the server. I had advised you to look into the killing/mugging/raiding rules and ensure you understand them a bit better before doing so again in the future, as well as building more value to the character you are using. Otherwise, you are avoiding the risk that is integral when deciding to attempt to steal or kill another player. I had also sought advice from other staff to help with my final decision. An additional factor in your ban was your own claim that you went to raid these properties to get back at your previous faction, who you had been PK'ed on. I understand that you believe your conversation was roleplay, but when it is matched with the facts of your very recent PK, it paints a picture that your decision to raid was based on a desire for revenge. - I am unable to attach a clip for this, unfortunately, due to the ESP information within it.

By that clip if you look from both POV's that would be VDM because the cops didnt kill her nor was it violent interaction due to her surrendering and not escalating the situation. so due to rules and the way it went out she should get banned for VDM and not a PK so that is a bad ruling with the fact that the man who made the pk wasnt even a cop.

I made a new character named Santos Salamanca to play and the server and joined little israel. Spent most of yesterday fixing different things and helping some people out get away from some people, buying guns from a guy who was shot and took him to the hospital afterwards. Today I log on around 2-3pm gmt+1 and there is basically nothing to do when no one is around so i farm money by growing weed, oil and cocaine. But ofc when no one is online there isnt much to do so i log off and log on around 5-6 hours later. I have no money and dont have much cocaine so i get a lockpick, gloves and a mask and try to break into an apartment or "raid". I see a guy on the bench, pull up my gun and shoot him naturally since i dont want to give him time to react and shoot me. I take all the weed from the apartment and leave. The admin tries to say ive been lockpicking a lot without waiting 15m between but that was the first lockpick i used and havent used any other ones to steal something. I was checking apartments if someone was there but they were empty ofc. I tell a guy about the raid and say fuck blue lobster i was pk'ed but they arent the reason why i got pk'ed so i dont know why it is being classed as a revenge raid im just RP'ing and trying to make the guy like me since he hates them. It seems to me that the guy who i killed in the raid is salty over losing his stuff and is trying to blow this waaaay overproportion. But the guy who banned seems nice and decided not to pk me this time and only ban me for 5 days but i still feel like i shouldnt be banned.

bacon a way this could work is to limit this to new chars and if they want to risk the pk let them, but maybe for cars increase the $ payload for pks from like 10k to maybe 15 or 20 so new associates can make money, but also make a time limit to how many u can sell in a certain time limit and also see if there is a way for when the car gets sold, the owner has to pay a npc to get it back. but if you want a full on fix make each car like 6-7 k per so no one gets pked and just add a timer

Like I said, it was a joke and I admit a bad joke. I didn't intentionally mean to kill everyone not even myself which is why I was very confused on the PK choice. Them getting stuck wasn't intentional either as you can I see I tried to go forwards or backwards but I couldn't. I don't get how you can claim 'unintentional game mechanic' and then say it's valid. Nobody intentionally gets their car stuck and I didn't either. In the other POV, you can see me exit the vehicle to surrender/apologise and the car sucks me under too and I die. Also, the person reporting who made the ticket WASN'T involved in this instance, so I seriously don't get how you can place this as a coroner's report.

Idk how you can do it "jokingly" bc you legit said that you were "suicide bombing" and as you said in the sit you did it to save her, so im confused if you did it jokingly or not. I did ask for a second opinion on the clip and we came to the conclusion that when you ran the cop over you put yourself in fearrp, then when you died you died fully. Hopefully that clueded you in on my decision!

I did NOT mean to kill anyone in this instance and I didn't know they would ragdoll beneath my car. I couldn't even move my car off of them or away from the people involved. Why should you be unPK'd? good idea but truth be told it isn't too tough to relegate a specific phone for a business' use- especially since we can set phone numbers now

where would the hypothetical chop shop be? ghetto? outside cargo docks? tunnels? alley(s)? a way it might be possible to beat some of the concerns is if you have it be a timer for the character itself in addition to the cooldown. (i.e you would need to spend a certain amount of time on the character before and/or after car jackings before having the ability to switch) having it be mains only seems odd and while i understand the reason; it seems like theres gotta be better ways to prevent strictly minge business. lower quality vehicles could have a a lower timer while higher quality vehicles have a longer timer but higher payout- and if its pk worthy i could imagine custom cars are a sticky business though and unless you make a value for each one, it'd be easier to just have them all be ~6-7k so the threshold isn't met and abused but to still keep some cars holding value.
