What is your motivation/reason for applying?: I've been loving my time here at Diverge, with just half a month of playtime I've already met so many great people in this community that has welcomed me with open arms. I'm hopeful that me being a member of the staff team can allow me to not only meet more amazing people over time, but allow for me to provide good quality experiences and support not only to the regulars, but to newer players in the hopes that they too can enjoy this amazing community. Why should you be considered over other candidates?: I have a very open schedule, allowing me to be active on the server for a significant amount of time each day. My playtime also often extends into peak EU hours. While I may not have as much experience with the factions as some others, I believe I am a quick learner and can easily learn anything I'm currently unfamiliar with if needed. While I cannot speak on everyone's opinion on me, I do believe I'm well liked by many. I've had mostly nothing but good experiences with many people, and even the very few bad experiences I've had have ultimately resulted in more good experiences in the end. What is your favorite moment on Diverge so far?: As chud as this sounds, late on my birthday, on the 9th, I had a party thrown in Napoli and around 20~ or so faces show up and ALL sing me happy birthday, the moment genuinely brought a tear to my eye. Have any staff members recommended you? If so, list their names: N/A ------------------------------------------------- Problem Solving Detail step by step exactly the actions you would take. Someone RDMs and you are currently off-duty. How do you handle this?: Switch over to a staff char (unless im actively busy in RP, in which i'd simply clip the situation and forward it in proper staff channels.) On my staff char, i'd question the indivudal they RDM'ed along with the person who was rdm'ed, and if needed, anyone else who witnessed the event. From there, making a decision on the situation such as handing out proper punishments. You have seen a fellow staff member of higher or equal rank than you abusing fairly often, but never doing anything too noticeable. What do you do?: I'd try to speak to the other staff member in question first, in the case that it's a simple mistake or something they're unaware of they're abusing, if it can be quickly solved by a conversation avoiding needing any escalation. Although, if the person in question is higher in rank too me, or equal too in rank and isn't willing to change / adjust what is needed, gathering evidence and then reporting it to higher ranking staff member to decide on the matter. A member of your faction / friend of yours has a ticket made against them accusing them of RDM’ing, and minging. You know that this person rarely does this when you play with him. How do you proceed knowing this? Does it constitute possible bias?: If it's someone I know to the point that they are a friend, or are a part of my faction. I would not engage in the ticket, and either forward it to another staff member or just avoid it entirely. Even if I don't believe I'd act biasedly in a ticket, it may not seem that way to others and in the interest of avoiding any confusion, arguments, or other issues. Avoidance would be the best scenario.

Hey man I'm gonna be real you been acting weird as fuck recently, I got a report about you today, completely unrelated to this situation about you saying weird shit to people in rumours. You're going to have to improve your behaviour going forward because you're basically on the fence of being a sex pest freak. ESPECIALLY if the people you say crass shit about are minors, you never know. You're riding a very thin line. Shape up please. Will just extend the next ban if you really don't feel like playing properly or being normal going forward.

To start off with you just openly admitted you were trolling with your friend with a sound board. You then put a soundboard of a girl crying whatever right, still against the rules and is mic spam. I can't control what ticket that had not been taken previously so that's irrelevant. All communication with other players is a roleplay scenario, I don't know if you realise but it is an rp server, you went to a group of people and decided to play your soundboard as you tend to do all the time. It's gotten so bad with you to the point you pretty much only communicate with other players via soundboard. You're notoriously a mic spammer. What I do on my crim char is completely irrelevant as to why I would ban someone or yourself, so I don't see how that matters and is completely irrelevant to what had literally just happened. End of the day you and your buddy was using soundboards to a group of people who are rping cause it is an rp server which you consistently do and manage to slip away most of the time. There was quite literally a ticket made against you so I don't know where you got that information from....

So I was trolling with my friend Wrench we used soundboards, and I decided to use the Woman crying over a PK for straight 3 seconds, me and Wrench got muted, previously I opened 5 tickets for LTARP and Auto Pleas and nobody took them while 9 Admins were on. After the mute for the reason "Cringe Soundboard" I opened a ticket again @Sybau shaunin took it he told me he came back from being AFK I sent him the LTARP Clip and when he teleported me back I got banned by alfe the guy that is simping over e-pussy. Which is clear I am not trying to be disrespectful here mind you there is proof for him simping weird thing is that I didn't get teleported for him to explain the situation and prove that I didn't have any Intent to Roleplay, he just did whatever the fuck he felt like. And with him stating NITRP in the ban he probably means when me and wrench used soundboard while nobody was in any kind of a Roleplay Scenario outside Imperial. Which explains a lot, and It is not weird to use a soundboard of a woman crying it is weird to cry about getting PKed and your shadow e-simp banning people over you. I understand that soundboard can get you punished most of the time people get muted for the same, but no when it comes to me using it without anyone having any roleplay scenario and nobody reporting me the guy decides to ban me. I want a clear explanation by the banning staff member here, I don't really care if I get appealed or not, I am sending this here as a proof for all the people to see who is in the Administration and who decides will you play or not. I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and reduce your ban to 2 days. Eventhough you are apologetic, you still decided to fight fire with fire, (a rule breaker by breaking the rules yourself) (according to your story) I also want to add that if you drive fast with a vehicel and your game freezes, that it's still on the drivers responsibility most of the times if you run people over. Next time file in a report using "@" in-game with a clip so we can assist you instead of you handling scenarios yourself, shutting off your pc or game right after you killed someone is highly not advised neither, i'd suggest you to wait 10 minutes at least and then turn off the game so it can't be really considered Leaving to avoid Punishment Your ban appeal has been reviewed and accepted. Im definite i deserved the ban as i was most likely trying to noclip with some free cheat I found , but i am here to be honest about why I got banned. I shouldntve done what I did , as I was really immature back then and I would just join any server I could find as i never intended to play gmod back then , and I want to make it clear it was nothing deliberate on this server it was just a random pick I assume from back then. Why should you be unbanned? I was really immature when I got banned from this server , which I assume was 2 years ago , maybe even 3 i honestly have no clue. But I am honestly a changed person I have no intent to cheat at all I am even more than willing to have a PC check to prove i have no cheats in Gmod or any other game as i do not condone that anymore. I really want to try this server out as it seems fun and its summer holidays so it looks like something i could really put my time into to get things off my mind and also make new friends and join a new community. That would probably be a bridge too far. Gun stores are already subject to audits at basically any point, so having constant access to that info and just lurking waiting for a simple clerical error would be pretty lame.
