The issue is: YOU ARE WRONG! On so many levels! DJ Calamari here, I have been working on prison reform since I was held captive for 24 hours on a bullshit embezzlement charge. I was left in a cell while they arresting officer KNEW that he had no evidence to book me let alone win in court. I was forced to remain cuffed in my cell, and yet I still found TONS of fun in the RP. I understand the worry/fear of not letting Don's or higherups to meet with other mobsters or criminals, but to put it simply that is not an excuse to deprive people of their rights. YOU, as the member of PD, have a HUGE database and info that you can use to decipher weather or not you should let that person in for the visit, another KNOWN criminal visiting them? Sure, don't let them in. The persons family member, who shares the same name and BLOOD with them? Let them in and see their family! Wife or Gooma? Husband or Side-Dick? Let them in! Another great example is people wanting to speak to their lawyers whilst being on the DOC team and not being allowed to speak with them because they are already incarcerated. Alot of this fall onto the PD simply being disorganized and most of all, LAZY. Probies, officers, and higher choose not to do anything regarding prison because it would cause them to do more work than sitting around, watching and profiling minorities, and ultimately causing shit with citizens hoping to catch a body, a ban, or a tan! Regardless of this fact, you are also breaking SEVERAL NYC laws that are/would/should be followed RIGHT now in the server, such as: New York Correction Law §45 (authority of the Commission of Correction) 9 NYCRR Part 7008 (Visitation) 9 NYCRR Part 7002 (Admissions and inmate information) Bell v. Wolfish (1979) – visitation and pretrial detainee rights Bounds v. Smith (1977) – access to courts Estelle v. Gamble (1976) – medical care Turner v. Safley (1987) – inmate constitutional rights This is just the tip of the iceberg, more rights and laws have been violated by NYPD, and it will continue until WE the PEOPLE decide to go all in on Prison reform. Another thing you mentioned "prison RP isn’t really a thing, and we don’t have a visitation space." THERE IS! You have at least 4 holding cells that you process/have people sign pleas in. You could designate certain times of the day for Yard time, chose one of those cells and put the inmates in said cells. Let them walk, talk, mingle and jive. As for "In cell PK's" as stated by several other peoples, I do not see this being a problem like you think, especially if the police do their jobs. Cadet's and Probies are not allowed to leave the station as is, this means you already HAVE people to be guards (with supervision from higher ranking people of course!) This will give new officers a chance to learn and deal with erratic people in a confined safer space, it also gives the higher ranking officers a chance to see how each person acts and reacts and gives them an idea of how they will act on patrol. Anyhow we definitely need prison reform and more prison RP, because cops fucking suck and are lazy chuds that have no problem arresting you for life, but of course they got a problem with taking care of you for life.

people pay lots of money for cars to go 300 mph, if thats slowed people will pay even more to have those cars buffed to be 300 mph again. Once everyone spends 50 dollars to buff the cars we nerf them again. If this scenario happens we can have an even better server!!!!!!

I was promoted on the fly mid-ticket and was never trained nor supervised for any of my 80+ PKs during my time and even then I had the means to figure out that I shouldn't be spawning a body mid conversation with police. You LITERALLY continued to switch to your NYPD character to pursue and KILL the SAME guy you spawned a body for, hello, UA?

Once upon a time, there was a staff member called velocity. One day, his faction decides to PK someone and asks velocity to log on to set him active, velocity immediately logs on to set the individual active only to realize Bullets had already set him active. Realizing this, he switches back to his main character to simply sit down on a couch and watch the execution unfold. That day would be velocity's last day as a staff member on this renowned server as he gets removed for "metagaming a pk". On a more serious note, I'm commenting because I'm the guy in robes and double katanas (the classic japanese dripgod outfit) at the beginning of the clip. I literally witnessed the entire situation unfold, while it is extremely stupid for you to attempt to open fire at police, Bullets shouldn't have been there AT ALL because even if he didn't relay any information (which is quite a challenge to believe in my very biased opinion), he still has metagamed knowledge regarding the killing which results in conflict of interest. Breaking Fear RP while being detained by Police. If the police are detaining you for a crime and you break FEAR rp by pulling a weapon on them the NYPD are still within their right to react in self defense. This can and will be considered initiating a violent confrontation with police EVEN if you never managed to fire the weapon. I was the officer who was going to detain you, and wanted to change my cuffs, but you decided to pull your weapon. It is unfortunate you died.
