Think about it, Take the average player who joins MafiaRP. They go through life trying to dodge police interactions because they know that could lead to a slippery slope resulting in a Felony which limits them severely, and oh God, everyone's avoiding that looming PK sentence. The average player is evading the police awhile navigating years of interrelated MafiaRP politics where he is walking on eggshells trying to climb the ladder of Diverge. Doing so involves participating in activities that could very well get him killed such as events like this past weekend. So he stays in line, doing whatever he is told to do and not stepping out of line. If he wants the capability to even challenge someone? He needs to grind at least 2 hours to acquire enough money to buy his first gun, losing it on each death that may or may not be compensated for RDM. Grinding and grinding for the other luxuries in life. **THAT** is how a criminal prevents himself from being PK'ed -> Keeping his head down, and grinding. A cop? Gets recruited as a cadet, has to go through training that is immediately overridden by the "status quo" of the bad habits of current street cops who often tip toe the line and sometimes might "push the envelope" of police conduct. Those are the ranks he's being raised in, fearing no evil, no threat of the end of his life. Police are living life on easy mode, like a doe that has yet to leave their mother. The police don't need to grind, they have no incentive to grind. They have one purpose -> spin the perpetual door of LegalRP. "Hook them and book them." I suggest the following: Make a couple PK rules prohibiting the occasional event of a police officer steps out of line, like a criminal does, which results in a PK.

But I also think a lot of people know me as Mmmm_Cookies mainly, whether that be from tickets, events, event messages, or talking in the Discord. or just trying to help new people. What is your favorite moment on Diverge so far? I have a few favorites, but my most memorable had to be the seasonal stuff. This past Halloween the GM's were doing stuff around the map to spook people I guess, it consisted of being mannequins and moving when people weren't looking, following them around, spawning stuff in the sewers and letting people run around in the dark to fight zombies and bugs, very fun times and a large part of the reason I also applied for GM. Besides that? I loved the racket events, have a few clips of the one a few months ago where a shit ton of Lucchese tried to come in, and I was in a dark ass corner with a Famas, haha. I also just loved driving around. The tunnel entrance/exit besides the big hospital is great to come flying out of. I've hit a few barrel rolls and even one over a police stop. How do you handle this?: If the ticket was still open after a few minutes, I would switch to my staff character and take it, aslong as I'm not in the middle of an RP scenario. You have seen a fellow staff member of a higher or equal rank than you abusing fairly often, but never doing anything too noticeable. What do you do?: Noticeable or not, abuse is abuse. I would gather as much proof as I can without taking too long to prevent it from being forgotten, and report it to the next higher person, or open a UA ticket/submit a regular staff report. I'd ask anyone who I know was affected for any proof they may have, compile everything, and submit it all. A member of your faction/friend of yours has a ticket made against them, accusing them of RDM’ing and minging. You know that this person rarely does this when you play with him. How do you proceed knowing this? Does it constitute possible bias?: If someone else was available to take the ticket, I would ask them to. If it fell solely upon me, I would review any proof and evidence provided and deliver the punishment that fits. Anything involving a person you're friends with can constitute bias; that's why I would prefer for someone unrelated to take the ticket. The power imbalance in this roleplay is unreal. A retarded cop in a civillian car driving like a minge. Engages what typically be might just be 1v1 between two regular players on the streets. No, Instead it is a dumbass Corporal with armor and guns that he didn't pay for and gets a free PK. Also this cop might be a PK hunter as I remember like 3 months ago he went from 0 plea deals nothing to like 8 life sentences in a few days after he had just finished PK'ing another dude with a shotgun. I want to say that I'm sorry and apologize to the admins and staff and community. I tried to evade my ban and it was a really stupid decision not just because it's against the rules but also because I wasted the staff's time and tried to jump through hoops to try to play when I should have just reflected on my actions and read up on the rules throughout the duration of my ban. I'm sorry to the staff for wasting your time by making stupid decisions and I'm sorry to the community. It was childish of me to try to evade my ban and I understand that it's against the rules for a reason and the rules should be followed because they provide law for the server. I want to give a genuine apology and take accountability for trying to evade my ban it was a really retarded decision. I understand if the decision is final but if I were allowed to play again I would do everything in my power to follow the rules and be a good member of the community and be a good example for new players. I miss playing on the server with my friends and making memories playing on this server has been some of the most fun I've had playing video games and I would appreciate it so much if I could get a second chance to be a good roleplaying member of the community. The assessment of the pk'ing admin is correct, the rule for no pk lockping during the event dictates that you may enter the property for the sole intent and purpose of achieving your goal. Claiming ignorance because "it's not explicitly written" is just bad faith. That being said, if you return the items taken we will reverse your PK and make it extra super duper clear next time that no, entering the property to get your event points =/= carte blanche to steal things (over 10k in value!) Make a support ticket and organize with staff to track down what items you took, where they are and how to return them and then you can be unpked.

This guy seems to have chilled out significantly over time. Yeah he crashed out and it isn't excused. He did otherwise contribute to a lot of RP. He's had a long history with the server which yeah there's been mistakes along the way but we've unbanned many people for worse in shorter time.

Staff member here who administered the PK, I have no issue with this being reversed if that is what the faction wants. Only question would be what to do about the two individuals who died in their attempts to kill you since if there were no orders on you, they would still be alive.

What server rule or PK rule was violated?: My character had been on a valid LOA with roles and approval due to medical issues, i was contacted the week prior about attending the racket event on good terms and flew in this morning to attempt to return to being active. within ten minutes of returning to the city i had been greenlit for a PK under the premise of kickups which i had been up to date on paying before i took my LOA. Along with the fact the faction actually owed me money for gold bars i produced and gave to them. after dying every member of High Command excluding the streetboss who wrote orders had separately reached out to me to inform me that i should not have orders on me whatsoever, that nobody had planned or wanted my death. and since then the streetboss and capo present for the hit separately reached out to me blaming one another for encouraging me to be included in the orders when it should have just been Timm Caputo. the streetboss himself admitting he didn't understand why he wrote orders for me but do because he was told to by a capo.
