Could be a neat feature. Giving bosses flexibility to still call in the shipments but having newer people being tested to take, trade, process, and kick up could actually be a legitimate form of rp to test the new blood. Not all about the money since up top there should be plenty of that coming in but testing new people to see if they can be tempted with scraps or if theyre the real deal.

I mean it kinda makes sense that its generic. It's high key on the family or group theyre joining to express this stuff not on the pop up box to do this. Gotta roleplay on the roleplay server occasionally.

Exactly, this was my main thinking when writing this, it gives a clear definition of what someone needs to do to be applicable for PK in a specific faction. It avoids any confusion with the staff setting him active, the player who's char is PK'd and anyone reviewing any potential PK appeal, if a rule on that list is broken the PK is fair game.

could be cool, it should be a 1 time thing (giving them permission gives them permission for your shipments that are currently pending pickup) though. use it to test the loyalty or something of a new hire etc, not someone whos lazy

Faction specific "Criminal Faction Warning"
DiscreetRavager replied to Marshal's topic in Suggestions
Currently seems there's a devide between how admins tackle the question on PKs for reasons such as leaving the family without permission. There's no doubt you can get that PK active, but then if that person appeals it seems to be a 50\50 shot per accepted and denied post. I think their needs to be consistency on how the staff tackles these PKs due to violation of these basic rules listed in a families Discord that I'm pretty sure most people directed their new recruits to. With that being said, I think this idea would straighten consistency on results of PK appeals within this subject. I don't think this is to replace people reading rules to new hires, I think it benefits more as a safe guard reason for staff and the person setting the order once it comes time to the appeals. +1 -
Melees are included with the light weaponry racket, I don’t really see why they’d add a racket specifically for melee weapons when you can just go to the hardware store
-
yeah which gmod boss is running fucking drugs nigga that shit is literally 0 money compared to what you should be making
-
gmod mob bosses too lazy to make their own millions so they make a faction to have people do it for them lord forbid a mf delegate something

Gun Racket Adjustments For Melee Weapons
KingJewMonaclu replied to Bama's topic in General Discussion
add a solo melee racket nerf the melees in the hardware store start more brawl RP as factions (no firearms) make specific melee weapons able to break legs for good internal punishment RP -
Make it so you can pass on your ownership / location of an active shipment to somebody else in the C menu. This opens up small RP / grinding opportunities for associates, who can get tasked with picking up packages for lazy bosses and risk death if they don’t bring the goods.

Give more factions melee rackets
-
+1 Convenience -1 could see this causing less interaction during recruitment. People should be RPing and telling their new people the rules and expectations and not relying on a text box to do so
-
Personally, I think it's on the faction to hire correctly and express their values through ic roleplay, not a pop-up box Nice idea but I think it just encourages laziness

-1 sounds lame asf

Currently the warning you get when joining a Faction (shown below) is a blanket warning applying to all factions allowing no individuality in what factions stand for. What I am proposing is adding a box to this warning which the boss of each family can assign specific rules to which new recruits must agree to when joining a faction. This would allow factions to specify what they expect of their recruits so there's less surprise when people get PK'd for doing stupid shit. A few examples would be specifying that a certain faction doesn't allow mugging or allow drug trades etc etc.

Returning Food items to not be vendor registers [Opinion]
Omerta replied to Pendred's topic in Suggestions
Problem there is that many of us would be eating from hotdog carts daily because 2/3 of the factions running restaurants are begging for conflict and don’t seem to grasp how the levels work. They refuse service, randomly kick people out after metagaming (knowing/assuming where they work) and kicking them out for no fucking reason with zero RP to precede it. Many of us try to “go out to eat” to absolutely no avail because there’s no incentive or necessity for these people to properly run their restaurants. You have to be at the mercy of whether or not people play in good faith and actually RP running their restaurants. -
100% a sort of glow or highlight to set it apart and make it clear as day what you’re choosing. This was very very difficult for me my first week.
