Hi, In this case the killing was unjustified. It seems to me that you allowed a crime to happen, so that you could execute a suspect. I understand the concept of a detective doing an 'eagle-eye' type investigation, but any kind of work like this should be explicitly to make arrests, not 'hospitalize'/kill players. You should always be attempting arrest, the player was not an active threat to you or others, and you witnessed the full context of his violence and would have known as much. You could have attempted arrest - I realise one defense would likely be 'I can't jump from a roof during roleplay and risk my life' to which I'd say - why weren't you working with officers on the ground to respond? Realistically, this scenario is you waiting in hiding for players to do anything that gives you the slightest reason to shoot your gun. This isn't something that works or is allowed on 1990's Mafia RP - more of a 1940's vibe, lol. It is the opinion of myself and other Seasoned staff that this was RDM, and with your extensive priors you certainly know better.

thank you for responding in a quick amount of time and explaining the reasoning. I see the error of my ways and where my actions resulted in my character being PKed and me being banned. I can assure you the profit from said deal was only 15k and the room was only used once. Even though I am in the wrong and my ignorance of the rules is no excuse, I wanted to still show my genuine sincerity and ask for a second chance.

Hello! I'm your PK'ing admin here, the reason why your character was pk'd was due to the fact that someone had noticed that you were going into a kosher room while on a Bonanno, upon further inspection I noticed that you had a kosher character that you had used this information to do things such as crew deals while on the Bonanno. Its common knowledge for everyone on the server, even stated on the rules under Metagaming rules: "11. You cannot use/pass IC information of one character with another one of your characters, that is meta." Which one of the reasons why you were also banned, the fact that you were using this information in order to use the room to conduct deals and profiting off the information is considered character abuse which is the main reason why the character was PK'd. I do understand and i see that you have come back after a year away, but you have been an on and off player since 2022 and we already expect you to somewhat know the rules.

I banned you because you were sat on top of a roof shooting down on civilians without making any attempts of arrest but you didn't do this once but twice, not to mention you were in plain clothes and had no badge on. You have been banned a plethora of times for RDM on your cop character and should be grateful you didn't receive a longer punishment. You mentioned the reason behind shooting these people was because "Shooting people because their friends are being punched isn't the correct use of force" which is ironic because don't you think executing a player without making an attempt of arrest would also not be the correct use of force?
