Yes, and I understand this, but believe me when i say my true intent was not to harm but to test out a mechanic. I did not properly review the section on mugging in the rules, which is my fault, but the moment someone told me this was a serious offense i stopped, if you review the time around when i actually managed to tie someone, you will see that someone tells me it is serious, at which point i try to find out how to untie and i cease all further actions of this kind. You will also see that I did not even attempt to take anything from the person I tied up.Again I acknowledge that i did fuck up, but I'm trying to learn to play the actual game here, and this is in-fact something i have learned is unacceptable, which is why i stopped. I did not mean anyone any harm and I again apologize for any frustration or harm to others experience i may have caused.

Hello banning staff here, Looking over the clips, the reason I issued the ban was because this wasn't just one failed mugging, it happened multiple times against multiple different players. The forum rules for PKs actually explain why. Before anything else, the rules state that you must first properly initiate a mugging. None of the interactions I reviewed met that requirement. Instead, you went straight to attempting restraints without properly initiating the mugging. The same section of the rules also lists failing to properly initiate a mugging and mass mugging as invalid scenarios, both of which apply to your case. Because this happened repeatedly across multiple players, I viewed it as Mass Fail Mugging rather than a single individual incident, which is why I issued the two week ban. Though the explanation above speaks about PK rules specifically, your intent, from what it seemed like, was intentional and negative, because for you to be able to walk around and troll others should not be acceptable, at least not in this form.

Hi, There are no late-night/low-pop hours in which players are less beholden to server rules. For you, mugging with your relatively new, non-main char may have felt like a bit of fun - but the victims you mug may hold serious, long term value to them. This is an unfair balance of risk. You should be mugging on a character that you have built up value on and spent time. With mugging and killing rules, it's extremely important that you understand the server rules around them, so as to keep things fair for everyone who may end up involved.

Hello, banning admin here. Your character "Gayso Fargartus" died in a mugging attempt by the hardware store, upon looking at your character list and checking the amount of time spent on each I found that "Gayso" had little to no roleplay/time in comparison to your other character. To quote the rule I felt broken, (Character Rule 12) You may not have a character for the express purpose of mugging/raiding as a means to avoid consequences on your main character. While I did and still do believe you mugged as Gayso, a relatively new character to avoid any lasting repercussions on your main character, good luck on your appeal.

The reason why the character was PK'd was not due to the fault of the staff member or the coding of the PK system. The guy that had shot and killed him was also active to the faction the character was in, resulting in the immediate and automatic permanent kill. Though, based off of the clips provided this strongly seems like a case of possible RDM. And more importantly blatant metagaming in the clip.

Hello, while this was very unfortunate timing for you there is no proof of metagaming by the cops or any sort of impropriety done on the staff part. Cops regularly patrol the ghetto multiple times a day, them stumbling across the body like that is just coincidence and bad timing for you. Additionally, while the officers may have fired first in this situation it was deemed that you consciously started the violent encounter by raising and aiming your weapon at the officers clearly with intent to begin shooting them. They just reacted before you had the chance to shoot.
