He’s obviously never used an actual time clock
-
literally not a lazy thing also this is extremely cringe btw - this is a gmod mafia role play server, not the military. - god forbid someone wants to make a system more intuitive and quick. good suggestion, could probably make the administrator side of clocking in and out easier too. +1

I’m not particularly a lazy person but I think it would have been cool. And for the military, I don’t recall ever clocking in and out. From what I recall, you should have salary. But that is the U.S. military so it may be different
-
I agree on it being lazy. How hard is it to literally just clock in and out the way it currently is? In the military we literally have to use our cards to clock in and out. I believe keep it as it is to ensure accountability and reduce "Laziness" among others.

This has gotta be one of the laziest things I’ve ever seen in my live it takes 2 seconds

In-Game Name(s): Timm "Eggsy" Caputo, David Bopkins. Steam Name: mmmm.cookies Steam Profile Link: https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561199571032451/ Steam ID: 76561199571032451 Discord Username: mmmm_cookies_666 Age: 19. When did you first join the server: Around late March, I believe the 25th of this year. Total playtime on our Servers (Do !time in-game): 3w 1d 6h 1m. Time Zone: EST. How much time can you realistically dedicate to moderating?: 5 or more hours a day. Have you read the rules?: Yes. Do you have a working microphone?: Yes. Do you acknowledge that you must meet the weekly minimum ticket quota of 20 tickets? (Unless you have posted a valid LOA): I do. Are you familiarized with SAM and/or Nutscript commands?: Somewhat but I'm willing to learn more. Do you acknowledge that lying on this application will result in immediate denial and blacklisting from staff?: I do. ------------------------------------------------- Long Answer Questions proceeded with an asterix require a response of 3 Sentences Minimum. What is your motivation/reason for applying?: * My main reason for applying is, I'd like to be more apart of the community than I already am, and I feel as if I could help with responding to tickets at later times of the night, and help with issues that other higher staff may not want to deal with at the time. Along with this, I've had many friends some of whom are staff tell me I should. And Diverge has really been the only reason I'm on Gmod ever since I started playing. Along with this, Diverge has had many events over the course of my time playing, and I would absolutely LOVE to host or help host these at some point. Why should you be considered over other candidates?: * I believe I should be considered over other applicants due to my record, availability, and willingness to put in effort to achieve a goal. I've had a completely smooth experience since playing, and helped many many other people get into Diverge and learn the ropes of how it works, most of whom are active daily now. I'd like to put in enough time and effort to advance as far as I can. Do you have any previous staffing experience? (Please list where, what position and how long): I do not. Have you been banned before on any of our servers? If so, why?: I have not. I have a note for RDM I believe, and it was completely my fault, a gentleman had drove into someone I know and I had his F3, so I shot him through his windshield. Staff informed me that wasn't justified yet because the guy wasn't continuously driving into him. Would you say that you are well known in our community, what's your reputation, what do other members think of you?: * I would say that I am pretty well known, my main character Eggsy especially, I had only been playing on him for like a month or two straight, and especially started forming connections with other people after getting my BAR ID, through defending people, and just being as friendly as possible to the people who I genuinely enjoy being around. I would confidently say most members think I'm a good person, and would have no problem walking around and spouting random bullshit to have fun. What is your favorite moment on Diverge so far?: My favorite moment was for sure the ATF event a while back, I was a patrol officer at the time and, the hosts informed the NYPD we couldn't intervene so we drove around telling people "ALL CRIME COMMITTED TOWARDS THE ATF WILL BE ALLOWED, THE NYPD WILL NOT INTERVENE" And it was CHAOS. I watched like 6 agents get ran over, 2 more get sniped from a mile away, and we was riding around in a bearcat getting shot at too since people were confusing us haha. Have any staff members recommended you? If so, list their names: DopeAsRoe, AceAdmiral, Yumeko, CptCaboose, Lunar ------------------------------------------------- Problem Solving Detail step by step exactly the actions you would take. Someone RDMs and you are currently off-duty. How do you handle this?: If the ticket was still open after a few minutes, I would switch to my staff and take it. If someone was just walking into restaurants and killing people, or running over crowds and there was an influx of tickets, I'd just drop what I'm doing to help everyone involved. You have seen a fellow staff member of higher or equal rank than you abusing fairly often, but never doing anything too noticeable. What do you do?: Noticeable or not, abuse is abuse. I would gather as much proof as I can without taking too long, and report it to the next higher person. I'd ask anyone that i know at the same time that was affected for any proof they may have, and compile everything. A member of your faction / friend of yours has a ticket made against them accusing them of RDM’ing, and minging. You know that this person rarely does this when you play with him. How do you proceed knowing this? Does it constitute possible bias?: If someone else was available to take the ticket, I would ask them to. If it fell solely upon me, I would review any proof and evidence provided and deliver/dish out a punishment that fits the actions, regardless if they rarely or never broke rules while playing with me. In some cases it could constitute probable bias, which is why i would ask someone else to take the ticket, but I'd be helping people affected, not my friend. ---------------------------------------------------------
