A lot of people have told me to apply, and many people have even just assumed that I'm a member of staff. Everyone has heard the classic line a million times that they've been around at times where there are 0 staff online, causing incidents to go unchecked if victims don't take the time to go to the forums. I'm fortunate enough for this to not have been a huge issue for me in the past, but I have heard the complaint a million times, and would love to be able to do my part and help out when it's needed. Throughout my time playing GMod (9,614 hours in 18 years), I have always enjoyed staff work as it always makes whatever server I do it on feel like a better place. Why should you be considered over other candidates?: I have gained a lot of knowledge throughout my time in the city in order to understand how things work and how rules are enforced. Any staff sit I'd be involved in would be professional and calm, and my understanding of the rules would ensure sound judgement in situations that require it. I'm also very used to the kind of harsh language and ignorance that would come with dealing with minges and whatnot, making staff sits go cleaner and more efficiently. My schedule is wide open and I mainly work evenings so my time on the server usually lines up when staff is sparse. What is your favourite moment on Diverge so far?: Very recently I trained for days for a fight against Detective Mickey Wickers on my main character Luigi Medici. This fight meant a lot to me and I knew the entire (.//criminal side of the) city was counting on me to show up for them. The event itself was very well put together, and the environment when I came out to fight was more electric than anything I've experienced in the city. Going on for two years, my main character has 1034 hours, and many of them have been spent talking to people and showing new people around. Even in a High Command position, I still hire fresh citizens and try my best to show them around the city in the process (eventually handing them off to someone in a more suitable position to explain how the city works). I've done countless scenarios for people coming up, giving my best effort to make things seem as real as possible for them. Have any staff members recommended you? How do you handle this?: I would get a clip of the situation, and make a report, just like anyone else. If no other staff are available in a timely manner, I'd likely just make a forums report and let it be handled from there. No staff below Super should use their power in situations they're involved in. You have seen a fellow staff member of higher or equal rank than you abusing fairly often, but never doing anything too noticeable. What do you do?: I would gather evidence as I see the abuse occur, recordings, screenshots, etc. After this I would hand off the evidence to a member of staff of higher rank and that has no RP affiliations with the offender (if possible), so they can handle the situation without bias. A member of your faction / friend of yours has a ticket made against them accusing them of RDM’ing, and minging. You know that this person rarely does this when you play with him. How do you proceed knowing this? Does it constitute possible bias?: I'd wait a considerable amount of time before taking the ticket, especially if there are other staff online that aren't as closely tied to the victim as I would be in this scenario. If no one takes the ticket in a timely manner, I'd treat the situation like any other and require undeniable evidence before taking any action whatsoever, even bringing the supposed offender to a sit. If possible, I'd also DM another staff member for their opinion on a situation before taking action, as the scenario would constitute as possible bias and I would want any situation I'm involved in to be clear of that. ---------------------------------------------------------

Signing a Plea Agreement after asking a question is on you You should always learn the full picture before you sign a guilty plea. 2. PD Lying about charges being a felony or not Is not and has never Been a OOC staff issue its a issue that should be reported to IAB as it is considered A-12 Gross Incompetence or any other infraction the IAB sees fits. Andy shouldn't have been banned for this the guy legit signed a plea deal thats on the player not andy.

After that question I alt tabbed to check the penal codes and confirm whether the charge was a felony or not so i can answer his question Mr Kai, Once i looked it up and realized it was a felony i hopped back into the game specifically to answer his question and proceed with the arrest. I don't know how it works for you, but whenever I alt tab back into the game, my monitor stays black for a few seconds because of the fullscreen thing or whatever you wanna call it. Hello admin who banned you here! Im going to start off with the situation, the arrest was not the issue, It was the way you handled in cells. He asked you if the charges were misdomeaners, you crouched a few times (the universal yes). Thats where me and multiple other staff decided it is powergame. Powergame is the forcing of RP on someone, you forced the RP of becoming a felon and decided to try and make him think that he wasnt going to become one. This was after you learned who he was. Second, after you charged him with a felony you giggled about charging him with a felony, you knew what you were doing. Third, I consider the last year for notes, which you do have a powergame note! Fourth, as a staff we don't have to sit and argue for 20+ minutes in a sit, when we believe that someone has broken a rule, we can ban them and argue it out on forums! I genuinely asked because I was curious and it actually made me wonder, like how can someone receive a Rape charge when ERP is not allowed? There are a few charges that don't typically have massive gameplay implication and are seldom used. State terrorism, resisting an INS offical etc. It's on there because whoever created the penal code added it. A criminal code would have such a crime and as an exercise in world building, it makes sense. It also being a roleplay server, there may be a reason in a story or event for police to do such a charge without any ERP actually occurring. To state the obvious, no you cannot ERP on this server, there is no special circumstances where it would be permitted. Doing a cringe /me to try to get this charge is likely to get you in trouble with staff and would be fail-rp/powergame ( making it invalid ) .
