Hello, After discussing I came to the decision to deny your ban appeal, to me this was VDM cause you went straight towards him without making an earlier attempt to stop and you have quite amount of a record with other mingey releted notes which is honestly also giving me the impression of it being minge related, but I can understand that the server was lagging and that is out of your power (the lagg)but to me it's very simple, why are you driving so fast when you are at big risk of having a giant lag spike where you can't control your vehicle and run over bunch of people? I appericiate that you are apologetic, we hope you learn from your mistake and please take things more careful next time Your ban appeal has been reviewed and denied. I literally was swerved in the left lane when the clip starts, I go back to the right and then back to the left. It’s literally in the clip right infront of you. I appologise for sucking at driving when the server is lagging so bad jpapi has to clear all the cars on the server MULTIPLE TIMES. but it’s literally in the clip im on the left side of the road in the beggining of the clip I go back to the right to try to stay there then I accidentally go into the left again. I couldn’t care about not playing the server for two days but I don’t want this on my record especially when it was a clear accident. And it’s not an excuse it’s a fact, I did not purposely drive into him and try to kill him.

You were not aimed at him when you rendered you then proceeded to lock on to the man and blast him. I get it can be hard to drive at high pop, so be careful. Not an excuse to vdm then blame pop. Not on to check exact but I know you have over a page of notes and at least one from two days ago mentioning to ban on next

I was already turning left by the time we both rendered eachother. I was speeding like hell yes, but I was trying to the car somewhat stable while the server was lagging like shit. I think everyone in the community can agree it’s near impossible to drive on your lane in the road while the server is lagging like hell during a major conflict/event. The second I rendered him in and saw him I turned to the right trying to avoid him. I get it could be interpreted in a certain way, but we all swerve in and out of lanes all the time because driving sucks in gmod. In the clip it also shows his radio going off like crazy, clearly he’s partaking in the event, just running around in the street with no fucks given. And two 6 hour bans two years, yeah that totally matters.

banning staff member - in the clip attached you swerve directly to hit the person, you have numerous notes and bans you should know you cant swerve to hit people. relevant rule- Do not intentionally run over users for no valid reason, targeting people on sidewalks, cross walks or in traffic stops for no valid reason is VDM. If you accidently run someone over in the street it won't be considered VDM if the staff member deems the opposing party at fault. I wasnt driving around trying to fucking kill people I was just chilling driving around watching the event go down. he must of been low health or something and it killed him on impact. I dont see the reason why I should be banned for two days when the dude is literarily in the middle of the street for whatever reason while the server is lagging like shit. I stopped (im 90% sure) after I hit him and waited for him to say something like I lost something or whatever, meet me at hospital and I could give him some cash or something like that but he didnt say anything at all. Your ban appeal has been reviewed and accepted. In this case, I do tend to agree that there was potential for felony charges, and the Officer was attempting to arrest a member of your faction. You may attack Officers if they attempt to Arrest/Detain you or a member of your group, knowing that an arrest or detainment would lead to a FELONY charge (Having illegal guns/drugs/etc.) You are PK active after shooting/killing an officer. -What is considered an attempt to arrest / detain you: Attempting to handcuff you Verbally telling you, you are being detained / arrested ("You are being detained", "You are under arrest") Firing their tazer at you Pointing their gun at you and ordering you to surrender/stop moving/get down/turn around. (Fear RP basically) (Telling you to LEAVE is not an arrest/detainment) Asking you for ID / Licenses is NOT a detainment / arrest; nor is simply questioning you, giving you a lawful order or threatening to arrest you. We should make our own Divergian version of these by editing this source material into IC papers and spreading them with typewriters. So first of my don was getting arrested after he just ran someone over, which is a felony because he was on drugs, and also the cops had grounds to breathalize him for reckless driving. If the cop were to breathalize Jar and see that he was on cocaine, it would be a felony after previous convictions of being on cocaine in public. When he went to jail for being on coke, they said if he tested positive for coke again within 2 weeks, it'd be a felony, and I didn't know whether or not he was on coke at the time. Computers have always existed to take away mundane or redundant and time consuming jobs. There was a time people couldn’t wait to be replaced because we thought the economy would balance it out. That… does not seem to be the case.

I hope to never learn who this dude is in game. The urge to metagame and find a reason to hate him would be crazy but I have a sneaking suspicion he could earn it naturally and that I probably already do.

I guess I just don’t understand the rules for this “war”. I thought PK was not a possibility when you exhaust efforts to find someone and they’re inside. We have fully discussed potential raids for targets (if/when targets are stacked) and have been fully prepared for raids from opposition when we are suspected to have targets harbored in our own. We never thought PKs or bans would even be discussed as a result of this. Unreal, the AFK farm prevails. Very cool event. A conflict escalated from OOC issues turned into a shoddy and ill-conceived war, with harsh punishments for violating flaky rules. +1 this guy wrote the fucking rulebook on Mob RP. Anyone supporting this should be ashamed.

Ah yes the former Olympus guy bans the commission man for mrdm for a target raid Do you not understand the event? He killed his target at the hospital and the other guy. Being the clip you provided was shot in crossfire. Maybe look at the other pov before banning for 2 days…
