(Yes/No): Yes Do you acknowledge that your faction discord WILL be owned by us? (Yes/No): Yes Provide an example of the unique Roleplay your faction WILL bring to the server/what type of roleplay we can expect from your faction (Images/Videos Preferred): Picture a new player's first hour in Southside. He's walking past a food cart in Little Italy when the guy behind the counter asks if he wants to make five hundred bucks. Twenty minutes of hauling crates later, he's paid in cash and handed a phone number. He has no idea he just met a crime family. That's the clan. In 1990, a man the family trusted sold them to the state, and everything we do comes back to that one night. Trust in this family is never handed out. It gets earned, written down, and paid back. Here's what that looks like in the city. The front: Caru’ cu Bere Our LLC is already approved. We run Caru' cu Bere, a Romanian food cart which is named after the old beer hall in Bucharest, and the same company sells custom clothing and hires out security. It's a real business with real customers, and it's also where favors get asked for, deals get made, and every recruit starts out. House Parties House parties held in Townhouse 3 open to the public every weekend. Free drinks and food provided. An open space for all to enjoy and have fun. With slavs and alcohol, a bit of fun chaos is to follow. Working your way in We don't hand anyone a Discord link in their first 15 minutes. A lot of new players don't even know they need one, and nobody wants to join a random server before they've figured out the city. So we hire through work instead. The first job is honest: Clean the cart, unload cargo at the docks, get $500 and a number to call. Call back, and the work gets a little less honest and pays a little better. Maybe next time you need to outdrink a buttoned man or beat him in a boxing match. The new player is doing something real from his first hour, and the family knows exactly who it's bringing in. Even the guys who never join walk away with cash, a story, and a number they'll remember the next time they need something done. Chezășie (the sponsor system) Nobody gets made on a handshake. Every prospect needs a member to vouch for him out loud, in front of the whole table, and that's usually who gave him his first job. If the prospect turns rat, steals, or runs his mouth in the wrong bar, his sponsor takes the punishment beside him. Every member has a reason to care who walks into the family. The Debt Book The family arrived in Southside broke and survived on favors long before it had money. That habit stuck. Move a car, watch a door or carry a package across town for us, and you might not get cash. You get a line in the book. The Clan calls those favors in later, usually at the worst possible moment, and settles its own debts the same way. A cash deal is over the second the money changes hands. A debt keeps two people tied together for months. Ink you can’t buy Every Haiduc tattoo is earned, and anyone who knows the Clan can read a man's history off his arms. An oak branch means he kicked up $100k in a week. A running stag means he outran the police. A crown of thorns around a lock means he did felony time and never said a word. Rosary beads mean he saved a brother from arrest. The rarest pieces, like Sfinții Carpați, a mountain peak with an Orthodox cross, can only be earned after collecting a full set of the others. It gives everyone from the newest associate up a goal that money alone can't buy. Every tattoo gets done IC, with the family watching. Funerals The Clan will bury anyone in Southside for a small fee, whatever colors he wore. That covers the hall, a service, a eulogy, and one rule the Clan enforces itself: nobody draws a weapon during the service. This is an IC rule backed by the clan, not a staff safe zone, and it doesn't override any server rule. Right now most deaths end in a black screen. A funeral gives the people who knew him a reason to show up, rivals included. Couriers for hire We won't pretend we can hold a corner on day one. Early money comes the way it does for every new family, through crew deals and shipments. What this family actually knows, after forty years of smuggling through the Carpathians, is how to move things quietly through someone else's turf. So we run and escort for outfits that would rather not be seen doing it themselves, and we never turn on a client who has already paid. A small family survives by being useful to everyone. We know Organizația Basarab came first. We're a different kind of outfit: quiet, service-based, and built around favors, funerals and business rather than gambling and kidnapping. We're not trying to be another family that grinds crew deals and stands outside a restaurant all day. We're small, we're new, and we don't have territory, so everything we do is built around making RP with other people instead of just fighting them. We've been running as a group in the city since July, so none of this is just ideas on paper. Provide examples or event ideas to promote activity within your faction and keep people interested. (Reference your unique RP from the question above): Open to the server Sunday Table (weekly): An open meal at the parish hall. Anyone can eat, nobody gets touched inside, and it's where people come to ask the Clan for favors. Caru' cu Bere pop-ups (whenever we're on): The cart parks somewhere new. Food, gossip, and most first jobs get handed out there. Funeral rites (on request): A full service for anyone's dead, with a truce held for as long as it runs. Saint's Day Feast (rare): The whole family, allies and rivals at one table, and the night a member gets canonized into the Sfinți, our hall of fame, with a tattoo of his name's saint. The Auction (occasional): Public bidding on whatever the Clan or anyone else has picked up, including our clothing. Some lots can be paid in favors, which go straight into the Debt book. (HTML Mockup available per request) Internal The job ladder: Cart and dock work, then driving, deliveries, escorts, and collecting on the Debt Book. More risk, more pay, and always something to work toward. The ranks: Segeată, Interlop, made Haiduc, then Soldat, Locotenant, Ban, Căpitan, Vornic, and the Consiliul under the Nașul. Sponsorship ceremonies: Inductions happen out loud, in front of the family. Anyone can work for the Clan, but becoming made takes Romanian blood and an Orthodox baptism at the parish. Tattoo nights: Earned ink, done IC, with the Clan present. Pomană: One night a month for the forty lost in the mountains and the men killed in 1990. It's the only night the old members tell the story to whoever joined last. Keeping newer players invested and giving an opportunity to get to talk with more veterans. Tribunal: Discipline in the open, with the sponsor present. The accused speaks first. The handbook: Romanian phrases and rank names, so members sound like the family instead of just wearing its name. Organization Backstory (Min. of 250+ Words & any images): In Romanian folklore, the Haiducs were outlaws with a conscience who robbed the rich and fed the poor. This Clan kept the name and nothing else. There is no honor among thieves. What has kept these Haiducs alive is shared blood, shared suffering, and the Orthodox Church. The family traces back to the Haiducii Muscelului, an anti-communist resistance band hiding in the Făgăraș Mountains in the late 1940s. They smuggled cigarettes, guns and Western goods, kept villages fed through forced collectivization, and stockpiled weapons for a war against the Soviets that never came. By the late 1950s the Securitate had found their camps. Of roughly forty men, a handful survived, among them the brothers Aladar and Ion Trandafir and their cousin Alexandru Munteanu. They disappeared into factories and mines and kept their heads down. The three found each other again in Bucharest in the 1970s and quietly rebuilt the old smuggling routes, one contact at a time. When the Revolution broke in December 1989, they weren’t on the barricades. They were the men who knew which depots would be left unguarded and which mountain caches had never been found. Romania in 1990 was open ground for organized crime, and the Clan grew faster than it could protect itself. During the Mineriad, the new government bought off several clans. The Trandafir name was not on the list. Iancu Robilă, sworn in and trusted, sold the family for amnesty and a sum he has never had to account for. The state and the rival clans struck in the same week. Three weeks later the survivors were on a boat. Robilă has not been seen since;. What reached New York was three men, a duffel bag of dollars, and a Romanian Orthodox parish in Brooklyn that asked no questions. The family spent its first night in America in that church basement, and it still eats there on Sundays. Aladar’s son was twenty-eight when he came over. He grew up hearing about the mountains and has never seen them, and he does not pretend there is anything noble in any of this. His father’s generation lost everything twice, once to the Securitate and once to a man who had sat at their table. He intends to be smaller, quieter and harder to sell out than either of them managed. Southside does not know the name and has no reason to care. The Clan holds no territory, has no allies and no reputation to trade on, and has no interest in a war it cannot survive. What it has is cheap labor, an old smuggling instinct, a priest who keeps no records, and a very long memory. For now, that will have to be enough. https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1i57E9wg0a8-yQckGoeEdANhC-WPaf19u05iIhP_nRFk/edit?slide=id.p#slide=id.p ~ Backstory with photos Edited 17 hours ago by Little Carmine Lupertazzi 17 Link to comment

Franzzy
Hello I wanted to be nice and hope for the best but seeing this party is playing dirty I want to point some stuff out. Backstory is mashup of Basarab and Popov as if both had a child and named it Haiducilor, many parts such as Rival Clans working with government, Smuggling, and Exile is copy-pasted from Basarab backstory, I guess you do fit the stereotype about our country. Orthodox Church RP is already being done by Popov ever since it existed. Ranks are same as Italian but language is Modern-Medieval Romanian mashed up with Italian ranks which we already took the trope of Medieval Romanian whereas you claim to be part of Anti-Communist Romanian Organization that waited for Americans to save them. Your ranking system tells me you don't have a unique hierarchy just Italian-American v2 just as your tattoo system being copy paste from other factions discord award tattoos. And your events are just socializing over n over and for months and only event that's been done is this house party which every faction application does by gathering up at some place eats virtual food and drinks virtual drink. Your recruitment is by making people do waiter/cook job like in Blue Lobster. Twist is you don't even get the discord server so you're expected to wait for your recruiter to get online which he won't give his f3 so you wont know when he's on and dial his number up. And the recruiters get PK'd for bringing a recruit that fucked up. Very brilliant. And the trope of "We're Quiet Organization" is already being promised at the Cartel application, I guess more shouldn't be expected anyways as It's gonna be a sideproject for some faction soon after it gets released. Reason why you think you deserve the faction slot is because you open a food cart (already being done) sell custom clothes and offer security services at it (already being done) and have discord awards (already being done!) I give a month at max to try some new theories before people like bullets and other members revert you to the generic faction layout just in Romanian-Italian ranking names. I don't see anything unique being contributed to the server other than a plagiarized story and circlejerk of players that already have seat at different factions doing same thing. Link to comment

I don't see anything unique being contributed to the server other than a plagiarized story and circlejerk of players that already have seat at different factions doing same thing. Backstory. Yes, both stories have smuggling, a betrayal, a war with rivals, and an escape to New York. So does nearly every mob story ever written, The Godfather included. That's the genre, not copying. What actually happens is different. Yours is an 1850s distillery, a family feud, a war in WWII Berlin, Switzerland, and Vlad arriving in 1985. Ours is the real Haiducii Muscelului partisans in 1940s Făgăraș, the Securitate, the 1989 Revolution, and the 1990 Mineriad. Being Romanian doesn't make it yours either. Staff have accepted two Russian factions more Italian families than anyone can count. The church. Both factions are Orthodox, which comes with being Romanian or Russian, the same way Catholicism comes with every Italian family. Popov's RP is worship: sermons, confessions, Sunday prayers, and prayers after a kill (none of which have occurred as of late). The Clan's is funerals sold as a service to any faction, a truce during the service, and memorials for its own dead. Ranks. Vornic and Ban were real offices in Wallachia and Moldavia, so they belong to Romanian history, not to one faction. Tattoos. They aren't just Discord award roles. They're IC tattoos for specific actions, like doing felony time without cooperating, and the top tier requires earning a full set first. Tattooing ceremonies happen in-game rather than a button being clicked in the roles section of a Discord profile. Recruitment. The cart job leads into deliveries, outdrinking a made man, and boxing matches, and Discord comes after the first initial period. Starting recruits on small jobs is a common idea, but executing it is not always on point. Most factions still end up with stand-at-the-door rp. Side project. The Clan has run on its own since July, with its own LLC, a working cart, and weekend parties, all shown in the application. Basarab's revival doc says it is operating as a crew under Popov. I would say that would qualify more as a side project. The cart, clothing, and security. These are server mechanics every faction can use, and the application never claimed to invent them. What's different is how they're used: the cart is where recruitment starts, and the favors people owe go into the Debt Book. Activity. I'd rather we both get judged on activity than on predictions. We've been running in the city since July, our LLC is approved, and we'll keep showing up. I’m not going to comment on any flaws seen in your application and I’m glad you have delusions of grandeur but I think the community should be focused on building itself rather than degrading others. Two Romanian factions with different focuses yet you’re hung up on submission timing. Good luck with the application. Link to comment

The Factions backstory organization is a Anti-Communist militia somehow you all twist it exactly to our points 1:1, the Real life Militia that this faction is claiming to be was made up of priests, peasants and military personnel I don't see the connection of human trafficking, smuggling at the initial phase making sense, Its a militia that existed for 9 years somehow they're the Transylvania's biggest crooks right after WW2 while country is being turned into communism. Ranks are Italian hierarchy with Italian rank names mixed in with some modern and medieval Romanian rank names void of creativity. And that you had to compare to us in your application even though there was no open rivalry before and offered assistance from our side, shows that we live in your heads rent-free. You are free to comment on flaws I don't see any of you actually doing it rather than -1 bombing and being nasty over a videogame faction application. For us Basarab was the only deal so we partook a small contract to be under Popov doesn't prove we are a side project not to mention we have left that contract. We've always been independent other than aligning with a faction close in ideals for the time being before having the morale to post an application. I have supported your leader before and offered mutual assistance even in sharing future dupes for Romanians to use. However after seeing hostility and attacks on our Faction ofcourse I am going to respond. I'll end my discussion in this subject, mutual courtesy would've gone long distance, Goodluck to you all too. Our application never has the partisans trafficking anyone after WW2. In the late 1940s and 50s it has them smuggling cigarettes, guns and Western goods, helping villages get through collectivization, and stockpiling weapons for a war that never came. Then the Securitate destroys their camps, and a handful of survivors spend the next 20 years in factories and mines. The organized crime only starts when the survivors rebuild in Bucharest in the 1970s and grow after the 1989 Revolution, and the application never calls them anyone's "biggest crooks." It also never places them in Transylvania. The group was named after Muscel, on the Wallachian side of the Făgăraș Mountains. And the time span matches the real group: late 1940s to late 1950s. You're right that the real fighters were priests, peasants and former officers. Our backstory starts from that real history and adds fiction on top of it, the same way Basarab magically invented an 1850 distillery. I’ll leave you with one last point. You seem to be predisposed with this idea what we are out to “attack” you. Your application was mentioned in ours as to differentiate, not as to say “we’re better than them.” Additionally, you seem to have this obsession about hostility and negative comments coming from us. Not a single one of our active members have left a negative comment on your application. In fact, they’ve been instructed not to and we’ve been checking. I am aware of the discussions you had and we have maintained the mutual courteous but you took it upon yourself to flip the script without even speaking to us. You’ve directed your frustrations toward us irrationally. Link to comment
