Why should you be unbanned? First of all, I would like to state that I do have previous RDM bans and warnings for RDM. The reason I shot the car was due to me hearing the shots and seeing a masked male standing over the body, looking like he was picking something up. I wholeheartedly believed that this was the killer. I unloaded shots in his direction, but did not hit the car. In the clip provided to me by another party, the car appeared to continue down the road already with a popped tyre. This is seen in the clip I have provided, and it shows that the car pulled off prior to the shots being fired, already leaning on the rear left-hand side. This means that the car tyres were popped prior to my shooting. 

The initial killing happened within the first 6-8 seconds of the clip, and it shows that the killer, Polo McGriff, shot the Merc as it was reversing. Due to the logs being unable to provide the information, there is no way of telling whether the shot that popped the tyre came from the Polo or me. Additionally, I have been banned for RDM despite the victim in the case not taking any damage during the incident; he only took damage in a crash that occurred while in the tunnel.

Due to the information I saw, I perceived Malcom as an active threat, due to me believing he was the killer. I believed that he possessed a firearm, had a disregard for the law and due to his actions, I concluded that he would fire upon officers if they attempted to stop him at that moment. When he drove down the road, I stopped firing, called down on the radio the suspect description and allowed Owen Davis to pursue the vehicle in his patrol car.

From what i was told and the proof i had been given Which will be attached to this reply, You were banned for RDM - Improper Escalation, Which was then extended to a Perma Ban at the Order of Pendred, The originally banning admin asked me for my verdict, and i gave the same response as i will provide here.

In the situation I've witnessed, it is a clear case of Improper Escalation, Yes there was a PK, Yes the individual driving away was involved, However upon opening fire on the individual is Not an active threat, They are Unarmed In a Car Driving away, and shouldn't be fired upon, as PD Must strive to Make an arrest, Not execute suspects.

In this situation from the clip you've provided i can confirm you did not damage the individual involved in this situation, This is new evidence that was not present during your ban, and I'm certain UA will take that into account when it comes to your appeal.

I'd also like to add, the incident occurred and the guy was arrested LATER. The report and ban happened over an HOUR after the incident because the guy was arrested for murder

I think some people are confused as to my appeal. The group of people on the side walk were not shot or shot at during this situation.

 

In response to Yugi's comment, given the severity of the situation, I deemed it necessary to shoot at the vehicle; my actions were legal and proportionate. As shown by my first exhibit, I did not hit the car. Additionally, if I'm to be perma banned for this, how come the clip showing the "offence" is only being provided to UA now? The clip provided by Yugi from Wicker's POV shows that I assessed the situation after my initial burst and deemed it no longer necessary to continue shooting, and called it in to officers around the corner to pursue. The clip also demonstrates that I believed I hit the suspect (which I clearly did not) Due to the intensity of the situation as well, you can hear that I said that I put a full mag into the car, which I did not; you can hear that I did around 3-4 bursts of my rifle, each burst consisting of between 3-7 bullets. Anyone who knows me and knows my shooting ability would know that if I wanted to kill him and end the situation there, I could of but again I assessed that it was no longer necessary to continue shooting.

The ban happened 2 hours AFTER he was put into cells so approximately 2 and a half hours after the incident.

From what i can see there's some clear confusion in terms of people misunderstanding the reason why you were banned so i will specify

The RDM Ban is for Improper Escalation, This does not mean someone was killed in the server, This means the offending party "Riggs" Failed to escalate properly as per escalation rules in the server, most commonly deemed as "Verbal, Physical, Weaponry" In the situation i watched, There were no attempts at an arrest before the person was shot, there were no forms of Verbal or Physical interaction before bullets were fired.

However judging from the proof i can confirm that An attempt of arrest was Made after the situation, and judging from the clips involved it doesn't appear as if Martin Riggs damaged the individual in the car, so in terms of the ban, it is for escalating to violence instead of attempting an arrest.

Therefore Improper Escalation.
