Revert Detective Uniform Rules

Having to be in uniform 24/7 without paperwork is gay. It's just a skill issue if a detective in a suit fucks you, Yes 1 guy abused it but that shouldn't ruin the entire thing. If your playing gmod mafia rp and can't handle someone slapping you with a pillow go to pony rp

99% of the reason I left pd is how fucking neutered it is. Literally can't do shit without SOMEONE crying and getting it voided. +1 even as a crim main now the pd needs some nuts.

imo I think it would be fine, just would forfeit/restrict PKs from them if theyre plain clothes. Such as a det plain clothes shooting someone however many feet away so they cant see their badge/blue name (which already kind of how it was before)

no, not that at all - detectives have no actual power, they are practically patrol with a different name, the lack of power means crims have a lack of risk when it comes to the majority of shit which shouldnt be the way it is on the server.

I'm a crim main these days and I gotta say it's fucking boring. The cops are so neutered that if you get arrested as a made guy these days and they didn't powergame you somehow, you're probably genuinely retarded. There used to be risk to doing shit out in the open. Now I just kill people in central park, pick up my casings, and run away knowing that the case is cold as fuck. Grind brick, rinse, repeat. The only threat is a possible snitch. Undercover ops are pretty much moot since staff is currently okay with you and your friends inventing a random made up person to "collect debt from" and you beat them to nlr. If you don't do it, your op is cooked. If you do it, your op is cooked. Crims genuinely have no idea how easy they have it after having been on both sides so thoroughly. The DOJ is neutered. The bureau of detectives is neutered. 

 

Look at everything "major" that has happened to different organizations in recent memory. Cassanos got their pp smacked bc they didn't do proper due diligence. Lucchese got a smack on the wrist for similar. Bonanos again similar due to people dying but they're bouncing back. There's probably other minor nuisance headache setbacks other factions endured for 10 minutes then moved on from but the point is there's really only risk caused by your people being genuinely retarded, not high level police work. 

 

Make crims have to be smart again. No pain no gain. My money is where my mouth is on this one too.
