Reason for appeal (dispute/apology): i legit mugged someone ONCE ONE FUCKING time on my char that just so happens to be a civ and i get fucking banned? 

Why should you be unbanned? Bro i legit mugged ONCE ONE FUCKING TIME on a char that just does jobs around city for money and shit because i cant be bothered to join a faction ffs and the moment i fucking mug someone i get perma'd? What the fuck is this? I'm sure you can understand my frustration when i have to fear mugging some fatass oligarch at the chance of getting perma banned for "Mugging char" so fuckass dude.

+1 even if it was a mugging char (and I don't think it is because this user has spent a lot of time on this char in the city and if they mugged one person on it and that's it then...) perma for a first offense is wild. 

 

Not sure what hoovis is referring to but if there's more to this it should be in the ban logs. I look forward to to hearing admin/UA response but this doesn't seem like a valid permaban.

Hello, banning admin here. You were banned for being involved in a mugging, on a character that had no real roleplay outside of trolling/being called "Jack Me Off". You were permanently banned due to the tons of POs you've had, mixed with the lack of meaningful roleplay you've managed to provide. While you do not have prior bans for mugging characters, you should be more than comfortable with the rules as you have had 9 previous bans. The rules that I felt were broken are

1. You may not make a character for the sole purpose of mugging, for example if you are pk'ed for mugging and simply create a new character and continue the same actions. It shows you have no regard for actual roleplay. 
2. If a mugging violates these rules it is deemed a 'fail mug' and the victim is not subject to a PK if killed. Should the mugger be killed during a fail mug they perpetrated the handling Administrator may choose to still PK them as a result.
3. You may not have a minge/non-serious character for 'messing around'
4. You may not have a character for the express purpose of mugging/raiding as a means to avoid consequences on your main character.

You had 7 bans in 2025, all but one of them are for RDM alongside rules that should be known by someone that's been playing the server for literal years. It became apparent that you were/are not here to roleplay, but to make the environment around those that are miserable. Hope this helps clear the water, good luck on your appeal.

Hi - It was requested of me to extend this ban, something that I chose to do

You have racked up 9 notes in the past 6 months, you have 10 bans on file, 7 of which were in the last year - you were banned in August, September, October, November and December of 2025. 

You clearly are refusing to accept the rules of the server, and engage in roleplay. You have 2 current characters to my knowledge, both have less than $300 to their name, the oldest of which was created 16 days ago - so less than 2 weeks before your ban date.

Almost every character you've created has been called Jimmy, or another minge name like "Jack Me Off"

You have been playing the server since 2023, you should be well aware of the rules, and you should in my opinion be established and capable at roleplay, and accepted within at least 1 faction - obviously it's not a requirement for you to not be a civ, but the fact you are unable to settle into a faction despite your efforts (You have been in 14k, Taka, Cassano, Lucchese atleast) says something.

You definitely should be aware of how mugging rules work, and seeing as your partner in crime was VERY well versed in mugs and mugging related bans, I think you knew what you were likely getting in to.

I just don't see any improvement in your behavior since you (I assume returned?) in August, and don't believe you will stop breaking rules and racking up bans.

Calink I only know the rules relating to mugging pk's (and the other obvious rules) I however did not know anything about Mugging Char's, yet I would never make a Mugging Char because well one thats just retarded because it wouldn't last and it would probably be considered pk hunting, and two im not all that well versed in the mugging rules, hell the first time I tried mugging someone on a completely different char (that was on a faction I will not name) was literally at the fishing docks, and as for the name  on this char that did actually mug someone, "Jack" was put in the name after the characters creation, so the original name was "Joceline Mehoff" it was only after people started calling me "Jack" that I had a mod add it into my name.

While yes I did have 9 notes (9 that's fucking crazy) I have been learning the rules, and I have been trying to improve, as this server does hold a special place in my heart, infact it is the server that taught me I don't have to a retarded minge in order to have fun on Garry's Mod, and I do actually like being in city.

And for the "Jimmy" part, well I had no better ideas for names other than to name em Jimmy and then put some fucking verb as the last name.

While I can't speak for the notes and rule breaks and understand your logic there I can speak to these. 

This person has been accepted into the 14k and was a valued member before they were unfortunately pked. Yes they did get into some trouble with cops quite a bit, but they did do the RP we required and never brought the trouble to the organization. Their name was a valid RP name and their new character which was at the time "Maria Lee" was going to be a good citizen and rejoin the 14k after the cooldown. I had personally spoken to them about them being more law abiding and not getting arrested on their new char going forward. They agreed and were even taking the bar exam. 

Overall I understand your side and can see your perspective. I just wanted to answer to these two points as I did slightly disagree with them.
