What was the most sad way a faction died?

My opinion, was Diamond Syndicate. For a faction to die out due to inactivity (especially after being in the server for so long) just breaks my heart. There were a lot of good guys in that faction and I wish it didn't go out the way it did.

odessa got wiretapped to death

kirov got wiretapped, and both pked the don and the replacement don and died

bonannos are the future victim of 30 colombo detectives

14k is dead, basically, just out of lack of interest i guess

i think it was the OG cassanos that UA just deleted iirc

whatever that gay russian one was that had like 5 players, i pked 3 of their guys on my crim character when they tried to mug me, then I got pked for triple murder and then their faction never recovered (i mean, it wasnt doing well anyway) and was deleted

there was some irish faction that the detectives infiltrated, got into their HC, and persuaded to leave their alliance and then they phased out of existence

 

every irish faction dying was sad, they had good RP they just couldn't keep people interested

murder inc 100% i don't wanna divulge too much lore but the tldr is the don was having his wisdom teeth removed and he hoped the street boss would take over while he away and of course the street boss didnt do shit so when the don came back he quit and wrote a 10 page manifesto on how diverge sucks mentioning how rp has stagnated which will lead to the server's downfall

diamond wasnt removed for inactivity, it was disbanded

It *died out* due to inactivity. It got disbanded because the only person that would be online was the second don, Nigel Cantera-Kray. Made it super hard to hire people with only the don being active.

There's a bit of misconception about why Diamond died tbh. We did have an activity warning but was given some time to turn things around. I needed a break from running things, so I left someone else in charge. The plan was for me to come back after I'd had a break and carry on. 

The guy I left in charge was doing a decent enough job at coasting the activity, nothing amazing but it wasn't too bad. 
I never got the passion back, and my temp replacement didn't want to don anymore. So I made the decision to dissolve diamond. It was sad that we couldn't continue, but diamond being removed from diverge was entirely my decision.
